So I've been working in this area since 2021 and quickly learned of this place. The food is good however the gentleman that is usually in the front and sometimes will stop to go help and cook is rude and not hospitable at all. He also seems biased towards certain cultures and will serve the men first. I order the same thing every day and have for years yet I walk on there and he doesn't so much as crack a smile. I have walked in there and he's helping in the kitchen and will make eye contact with me and continue what he's doing for another 10 mins until he comes to take my takeout order. Today I waited for my pick up order for 10 mins that I had ordered 25 mins before. He was prepping mine and another gentleman came in and he said hello to him, and got his order right out. Gave him his order, cashed him out and then grabbed my order in 2.5 seconds. I'm done with the rudeness, I'll take my money elsewhere. The food isn't worth all of that.

I live walking distance and order to go at least once a week. Food is great and the green curry chicken (spicy) is solid. Also recommend any of the fried rices especially the crab. Happy to have them in the neighborhood!!

Yet another no frills Thai spot in the neighborhood that's probably crushing it on the delivery apps. I ordered food for takeout here recently, and ordered all the classics-- green curry, thai basil with shrimp, and pad kee mao. While I didn't spot any unique dishes on their menu, Thai Delight is still a go to option for me when I want a very straight forward, simple Thai meal and not break the bank.

Recently moved and have been looking for an exceptional Thai spot near me. I'd say this place hits the spot! I already want to return and try other items.Very flavorful and comforting food. The service was very hospitable, and I enjoyed the intimate space inside too.

Thai Delight has become the go-to Thai spot in Gramercy, and for good reason. It holds its own among the range of excellent Thai places in NYC but has more of the local feel to it.Here's what you need to know:1. Noodles here are all so fresh. No matter what the dish (especially the flat rice noodles), you know that everything is good quality, which makes it even more delicious.2. Range of proteins available for the dishes and everything is at an excellent price point. It's easily become a go-to for that reason.3. Fairly good portion sizes and amount of spice4. The inside is so clean and nicely decorated. There's also some outdoor seating.Overall, Thai Delight is worth stopping into if you're looking for Thai classics at the right price point.

The restaurant is slightly on the smaller side as seating is very limited. However, at the time that I went which was Friday around 1pm, there was still some seating left. The service is extremely fast and I was able to order from the lunch menu. As for the lunch menu, their portions are pretty decent for the amount you pay. I was able to get a side salad, the pad see eu, and the Thai iced tea at a discounted price.
