For starters, the server was not polite, we had to go back because she didn't place the dumplings and salt fish in the bag. We felt like we were inconveniencing her just to order food. The jerk wings were not cooked thoroughly and I thought they were going to fly away being that if you look closely the feathers were still on the wings YUCK. The patty was decent somewhat, the salt fish was dry. I'm sorry I can't recommend this place.

I wasn't happy with the food I received from here. I got oxtails because I wanted to try a different location, I should of chosen my regular spot, because they made better oxtails. I did like my treats. They were a delight. I think I would try some other kinds of selections from this location, like their jerk wings looked really enticing. They had salmon, chicken, and beef, patties. They are the top pick when it comes to the locals I've been told. So I would say this is just an ok spot for me, They have better selections and options in the area for Caribbean Cuisine.

This is probably one of my new favorite place right now to get my island food fix on. I have been here a couple of times and I must say they never seem to disappoint me. From the curry chicken to the jerk pork everything is always well seasoned and taste amazing each meal comes with a side of either fried plantain, green salad, potato salad or macaroni salad. My new favorite is the salmon patty it's different but taste so good. If you're ever in the mood for good island food give tastee pattee a try the lines are usually always long but the wait is worth it.

This place is just awesome. I wanted to eat everything in here. I came in for a beef patty and left with more food than I needed. It's a decent place to eat, more geared towards take out but you can sure sit down. EVERYTHING I had was so delicious! I recommend the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and plantains. They offer to put any sauce on the rice or in my case Mac and cheese so I did the goat curry, yum!!! But man, that beef patty was amazing!! The crust was so buttery and flaky. The beef was so meaty and tasted like there was bone marrow in it, simple pleasures. Next time, I'm trying the peanut punch.

I am always looking around for great Caribbean food. I have tried many, but today I wandered in here while waiting for my daughter to come out of dance class. A lot of times when I go in at dinnertime much of the food is sold out, but here they had everything - patties, bread, plantains, and stews. My daughter is a vegetarian so I was able to get her a veggie pattie, which she loved. I got a curry chicken dinner and I have to say, this may have been the best curry chicken I've ever had. It was so fresh and flavorful, and the steamed veggies were also a step above. I will definitely go back. In fact, I can't think of any reason to ever go anywhere else in the area! Nicely done, Tastee Pattee!

I'm sorry to report that this WAS one of my favorite places to eat. I say was because the quality of food has gone down. The chicken dishes are overcooked, they always seem to be out of cabbage (seriously?), the goat and oxtail dishes are served with more bones than meat, and the customer service is HORRIBLE! They don't seem to know their ass from their elbow most times! And, the worse is the food counter is often filthy. When you work the line, you're trained to serve and wipe.Sad, sad, sad because this just started this summer. Not sure if it's under new management or they're just content to provide the black community with whatever they believe we'll accept. Well, whatever it is there are a ton of other terrific Caribbean restaurants in this neighbor that you can decide to spend your hard earn dollars. Start to care folks so we can get places in the hood that value your business.

From the Jerk pork, to the Pepper shrimp to the patties!!!! I'm so glad this restaurant opened up, authentic spices, taste, and great and friendly staff. From the patties, to the made to order escovich fish.... everything is great. The jerk chicken, bbq wings, and curry chicken are to die for. I eat here 3 times a week now. This place is certified by the west Indian community.
