Fresh fish and great vibes, the aux is amazing. The service is really nice as well. I got the salmon, yellowfin, and tuna bowl and it was delicious. The fish melted in your mouth. The dessert was so fun and not too sweet. Also such a good deal! Great portion for price

This spot has an omakase ambiance with counter-only seating, but serving donburi bowls. They offer various combinations of sashimi for the donburi all priced by size: $20 for small, $28 for medium, and $60 for large.I opted for the medium Katsurahama ($28), which comes with the most variety. The fish is fresh, but felt the portions were just OK. Unfortunately, the next size up is such a huge price difference. We also ordered the Matcha Sake ($40), which was delicious! I've never had a matcha flavored sake, but it had a nice matcha flavor with some sweetness that made it so easy to drink. As a matcha lover, I also had to order the Matcha Mont Blanc ($8). This was a nice and light dessert with not much red bean in it, which I liked. It's essentially whipped cream on cake, but done aesthetically.

I'm not sure how this place has a 4.6 rating but I was super disappointed. My friend and I were super excited about this place especially since all the TikTok videos and reviews looked really good. But I guess it was all fake advertisement. I only attached a picture my friend took because I was so disappointed that I didn't even want to take pictures. We both called two days to get a reservation (at different times during the day) and no one answered. So we decided that we'll just order to go. We called in because we had questions regarding the menu: why would you offer three sizes for dining in but only one size for takeouts? And the fact that the medium size to dine in is $20 but take out is $23? It just doesn't make sense to me since I ordered through the phone. We were both excited for the uni especially since the employee that picked up the phone said it was shipped from Hokkaido. My uni was not fresh at all it was a melted pool of bad uni. The fish were all cut up wrong. It wasn't the same size, how could you have one slice of fish being thick on one side and thin on the other???? The shrimp was not fresh at all, the fact that there's black parts to it is beyond me. Also the wasabi is probably fake wasabi too since it doesn't even have taste to it.If this is what they're going to serve us because we ordered take out then just don't go to the restaurant at all. I think this place exists to deceive people and serves bad donburi to them.

Fresh donburi with 3 tiers of pricing. Menu seems expansive but definitely take a look at pics for comparison of portions they give you in terms of donburi toppings. I ordered the ishigaki (uni/salmon/ikura) and was given just that but the amount of uni and ikura was literally a mouthful - it felt like I got a salmon bowl with a sample of roe/uni. (For this only will I dock a star)I recommend ordering the katsurahama as this had better portions. Staff are quick, efficient and kind. Layout of the place is one long hallway with stool seating; don't expect to be seated facing friends to chat as this place you sit shoulder to shoulder.Overall a great place to go to satisfy fresh donburi bowl cravings if in manhattan!

They do one thing and one thing well, the super popular donburi bowls. Interior is designed lowkey with service being super efficient, but the star of the show is the delicious seafood bowls they serve. I ordered the medium size bowl and it was a decent amount of food, especially for the price. Definitely recommend making a reservation as they seem quite popular amongst the younger crowd.

Food: The chirashi bowls are delicious here! The fish is fresh. Pricing goes by the size of the bowl that you get. Small is $20, medium is $28, and large is $60. They have different types of bowls with variations of salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, uni, ikura, scallop, squid, and crab. The sushi rice is seasoned very well. I would definitely return to this place for the quality of the rice and fish. Dining here reminded me of Japan. Service: Service is great here. Staff are attentive and friendly. Ambiance: This is a small place with about 20 seats along the sushi counter. The restaurant is very simplistic, similar to restaurants in Japan. It's not the best for large groups because you'll be sitting in a row along the counter. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Walked in with my friend on a Wednesday evening. It was packed but they quickly found room for us. The fish is delicious - salmon was so buttery. A medium felt like the perfect amount of food. It's cute and a bit small but feels spacious because of the setup! Highly recommend.

We came around 5pm on a weekday, there was plenty of seats and service was quick. This spot has a very sleek, clean aesthetic. 3.8/5 Katsurahama Donburi ($28)- I was very satisfied with the variety and quality of the various cuts of fish, scallop, and shrimp in this bowl. I particularly enjoyed the salmon! However the rice was incredibly mushy, overcooked, and underseasoned, which really ruined the eating experience of the dish for me.
