Food (5/5): Came here with friends for a mid-autumn festival celebration and the food was delicious! My favorites were the walnut shrimp, eggplant, and sliced beef soup. The food looked impressively prepared and were delicious.Service (4/5): Solid service where the food came out fast and we overall had no issues.Ambiance (5/5): Nice interior ambiance with plenty of space. I liked how we got a semi-private dining room with a large table because we had almost 10 people.

Well not bad here, but not great either. We have some great Chinese around us so they have some competition in our minds. We had the soup dumplings which were huge! Taste was ok but terribly flavourful. We had crispy chicken with garlic sauce. It was tasty but the chicken at times had a lot of coating on them. We also had a special crispy dry chicken with tons of chillies from the specials page, it was spicy and not bad but salty for our taste. So this is like a 3.5-4 star for me... Good service though...

Solid sichuan spot. Good value for the the taste and portion sizes.Came here on a Saturday at around 6 pm and were instantly seated. This spot is a block from Bryant Park, and makes for a quick jaunt whether you're coming from there or the subway. The menu is pretty large, with a variety of dishes. We ordered:- Soup dumplings: while the menu lists it as "steamed pork dumplings" don't get them confused with the other "steamed pork dumplings" on the menu that is $2 cheaper. This was honestly the meh dish for me. The meat was good, but the size of the dumplings was way too big and the skin a tad thick. Would skip.- Mapo tofu: My personal favorite, not too spicy and the tingly mala is prominent. Comes in a huge bowl!- Twice cooked pork belly with something something: Sorry I forget the full name, but it's the first item under the Chef Specialties. It was ok, but not spicy at all (which my dining companion thought it was going to be). Doesn't quite have the wok hei flavor either, so would opt for a different dish instead next time although we did enjoy it. Probably a good one to order if you have picky eaters in your group.By the time we left at 8pm, there was one group of two waiting but throughout our dinner the traffic seemed steady. Waiters were fine, food came out quick. All in all an enjoyable experience, but nothing mind blowing.

A classic Sichuan spot, I went here for many years before they had their fire that closed them for a while. Happy to report that it performs at the same level as it used to.We got:Braised beef in chili oil - which was a great version of the dish, tons of chili pepper and mala on top of the mouth watering bites of beef.Kung Pao Chicken - I normally avoid this in Sichuan restaurants as it's often a watered down version for those who don't know the cuisine...but the picture in the menu looked close enough to an authentic version - and it was! We often cook this dish out of the famous Fuchsia Dunlop book, and this was very similar to that but obviously more elevated.Double cooked pork - the classic! It was fine, but nothing special, the one dish that I felt a little lacking.Service was slow but pleasant, not awful. The new interior after their fire is quite nice.We got there at 6pm on a Friday and 2 of us were able to be seated near immediately, by 7pm there was a line out the door, so plan in advance!

Found this place on the way to another Chinese restaurant. When I saw the Michelin recommended sign in their window, I knew we had to stop and look no further. We loved everything. The orange chicken, chicken lo mein and dumplings!

Decided to try a new place for lunch with a colleague. Found this place after some searching and it ended up being a nice spot. The interior looks nice and clean. The service was nice and welcoming too. My colleague and I ordered two lunch specials. It comes with rice and either a soup/soda. The food was nice and tasty and the service was pretty nice and quick too. All came out fresh. Decently priced for the city - will definitely add this to my lunch time places to eat at.

Best Szechuan I've had in my life time and I'm married to an Asian woman. I mean this place blew my mind. The sauces and spices in the dishes were magical and the vegetables and meats were very fresh. I got the Sizzling Beef and Cheyanne Chili and it was unbelievable! The place looks wonderful too with classy architecture and authentic Chinese art work. I can't recommend this place enough.

Wow! What a perfect place for Sichuan cuisine. We ordered hot soup, chicken with chili and fish in chilli broth along with scallion pancakes. The food quality and portions were perfect and service was timely and professional.

This was solid Sichuan food. The mung bean jelly has a nice texture and intense numbing spice, which I absolutely loved! The mapo tofu was spicy and also pretty numbing from the Sichuan peppercorns, but more or less standard for what you'd get at most Sichuan places. The restaurant was able to make it without meat. The scallion pancake was nice and crispy, but unremarkable. My friends had two chicken dishes which they enjoyed, but I didn't try them. The bill came out to about $120 for all five dishes after tax and tip, which is a tad pricey, but not too awful.
