I came here for bottomless brunch with my friends and we had a great time. They don't seat you unless your entire party is present. The restaurant is kind of dark as the rain added to the gloominess unfortunately but we still had a good time. We all got mimosas and you can choose your favor of mango, orange, passionfruit, and guava. I enjoyed passionfruit and guava. A bucket of champagne bottles are brought out so you can make your own mimosas. We ordered:- Hey Baby Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich: I added Cajun fries. This was sooo good. I loved that the chicken had a glaze and wasn't dry. The biscuit as a bun was a great addition/detail. It also came with a salad. I wish the fries were a little crunchier. - Jerk Chicken Hash: my friends enjoyed this - Breakfast Burrito: this looked huge - avocado tomato toast with poached eggService was a little slow. We had to flag down the servers a few times.

I visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. Food & Drinks (2.5/5): I ordered the blackened catfish with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the food took a while to arrive and was cold. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes had great flavor, though they were a bit too salty for my taste. The biggest disappointment was the fish--it was actually Basa, not the meaty-textured catfish you'd expect from a good Cajun restaurant. As someone who eats a lot of fish, I immediately noticed the difference. When I asked a staff member, she insisted it was catfish, which led me to Google it--turns out, Basa IS a type of catfish, but it's not the variety I enjoy. Since I've never liked Basa, I couldn't say I enjoyed the dish. The drinks were just okay. Ambiance (5/5): This was the highlight of the night. The perfect lighting, live band, and burlesque show created an incredible atmosphere that made up for some of the food disappointments. Service (3.5/5): The service was decent, but the long wait for food and the miscommunication about the fish brought it down a bit. Overall, while the ambiance was top-tier, the food didn't meet my expectations. I'd return for the entertainment but might opt for a different dish or just stick to drinks.

The music is excellent. Mix of old school (90's & 2000's) r &b, rap and pop. A few cuts from the 80's and some new age stuff. The music was the best part. It gives dive bar vibes. Mixture of booths, tables and chairs, bar with chairs that have backs versus stools. Christmas lights and pictures. Etc. My bestie was late. So I sat at the bar. It took longer than I would've liked for acknowledgment but the bartender was friendly enough. The food portion/ taste doesn't equate to the price. While I waited for my bestie I had a Truly tequila/soda hard seltzer ($5) and a side of fries ($6) . The truly tasted better than I expected and the fries were fresh cut and came with a side of creole aioli. When I asked the bartender what creole aioli tasted like she couldn't describe it. The fries had pieces of bacon (shouldn't have been there) and another foreign object that shouldn't have been there. You can tell they used every part of the potato because some parts were dry andOvercooked. The foreign objects also tell me they don't clean their fryer enough and if you're are vegan/vegetarian avoid the fries. We did the High Key drink package which was $40 per person. That let you have "unlimited" mimosa, margaritas (frozen or on the rocks), froze, Bloody Mary, frozen henny coladas and any house drinks. First off the service is extremely slow. My bestie and I only had 4 drinks each. If we would have order Al la carte those 8 drinks would've been $84. So why pay $80 for unlimited. When we ordered our second drinks it took 30 mins to receive them. When unlimited drinks is 90 mins. That was only after a different server came and asked us were we ok. We had to reorder the drinks. UNACCEPTABLE!The food was a 5/10. The shrimp and grits were bland ($23). The sauce was white. Every place I've had shrimp & grits and even when I make it. The sauce is yellow/orange etc. it was jumbo shrimp and the grits were lump free. But besides salt and cheddar cheese it tasted like nothing. Definitely not worth the price. The chicken and waffles ($24) was another disappointment. ONE boneless chicken thigh and a "cornbread waffle". There was no cornmeal involved in the preparation of that waffle. It honestly tasted like a cinnamon Belgian waffle. The waffle was already sweet and they gave syrup and sweet butter with it. One thigh is unacceptable. Could have included a leg or wing for $24. We were still Hungry after splitting the entree's. So We got an order of Parmesan truffle fries ($9) and a side of the hanger steak ($16). The truffle fries did not come with a sauce and they charged me $1 for a side of the creole sauce, which came in a half filled ramekin. The truffle was non existent. The steak was prepared at the correct requested temperature (medium) but they cut it against the grain because it was chewy. I ordered a side of blue cheese ($1) and it gave it some life but didn't help the chewiness. The Henny colada was disgusting. It honestly tasted like pineapple juice with a spit of coconut. Didn't taste like any Hennessy was included. BBQ's Henny coladas are 10 times better. The margaritas were decent. Between the two of us we tried mango, passion fruit, and guava. The passion fruit and guava tasted authentic. The mango did not. The glass was filled with ice and there was hardly any cocktail. I do love the small Ice cubes though. The mango mimosa was fine. They added extra drinks on the bill. We weren't charged but I didn't appreciate it looking like we had more drinks than we actually did. The menu says they add 20% gratuity to parties 5 or more. Yet they still added 20% gratuity to my 2 top. I won't return and don't recommend. Service is 4/10 and price isn't worth it. Our bill was $226.

A friend and I came here for brunch on a Sunday around 11am. We were immediately squeezed in the back very closely amongst a few other tables of 2, which we both were a little confused about since the rest of the restaurant was almost entirely empty. We ordered their signature burger, which we were disappointed didn't come with fries but we ended up ordering fries on the side. The burger was actually pretty good. We also got the biscuits and gravy, which was a bit bland. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty nice- they had fun Halloween decor up since it is almost October, which was a fun surprise. The music was also something of note- it was all modern hip hop/r&b, which was pretty awesome for someone like me who loves those genres of music. Overall, I'd possibly come back here, it wasn't anything crazy special but it wasn't bad.

Service was welcoming. Food came out very quick. However I wasn't impressed with my meal. My friend ordered the steak and eggs along with a side of bacon. He enjoyed his meal. I ordered the lobster and shrimp it came with a sauce over a biscuit. I was very dissatisfied with my food. I gave them three stars for the welcoming of the staff and the time the food was prepared and delivered to our table. However, I would not come back to sweet science when visiting Brooklyn again.

Amazing service. The staff is very friendly. During brunch hour it was loud with great music selections. So it's a good vibe. There are many brunch options but keep in mind the table has a 90 minute limit. It is located on a bus stop so parking can be a worry if it's a crowded day as it's a residential area. The grits are the best grits I've had on Brooklyn! So I definitely recommend them. The eggs Benedict meal, in which I had the eggs scrambled not poached was tasty. Service was good.

We went for brunch to celebrate my nieces 25th and happy we chose this place. The energy is lit with the dj spinning good tunes. The establishment itself is dope. Staff was very attentive!!! I ordered the chicken and waffles but got to taste the jerk hash and shrimp and grits. The chicken and waffles was good. I'd like a bit more seasoning on my chicken but it was breaded and fried well and the cornbread waffles were light and yummy. The shrimp and grits was delicious. Big and plump well cooked shrimp with the creamiest grits I ever had. The jerk hash was very tasty with a bit of heat.Overall will def go back!

A hearty brunch with hip hop and a casual vibe. The two dishes we ordered were filling and delicious with their unique flavors. Boss lady bomb - Tater Tots, Scrambled Eggs, Avocado Mash, Coconut Curry (his preferred choice)Jerk chicken hash - tasty! My preferred choice. We had a few glasses of Prosecco. There is a bottomless bubbles, etc option for those looking for a boozy brunch.

Stopped in for a couple of afternoon cocktails, while waiting for my dog to be groomed nearby. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with only a few other people dining at the time. The bartender was so accommodating when subbing Tequila out for Mezcal. I also tried the biscuits, which were buttery, and just what I needed after two strong drinks!

I came here with a group yesterday for brunch and I'll say I was very pleased. From the customer service to the food was amazing. Music was playing but not too loud. They have so many great dishes on the menu you won't be disappointed.
