Beautiful space.Delicious cocktails.Okay food that's slightly overpriced, but well that's usual for a hotel lobby bar.Grilled Oyster and Jamon Croquettes were great elevated bar bites here.

OK wow, Swan Room stole my heart on a recent visit to New York. Why?For starters it is absolutely gorgeous. Located in the Nine Orchard Hotel in Downtown New York, apparently the building is a lower east side landmark bank transformed into a hotel and restaurant/bar. I wish I did research before so I could appreciate that the Swan room (one of the three dining destinations in the hotel) is actually set in a former bank teller room. I definitely appreciated the grandeur of it all, but had no idea! Alas, I still had an excellent time which brings me to the star of my night - the martinis.For me, it's always the martinis honestly, and the ones and Swan Room were phenomenal. I started first with the San Sebastian Martini - this featured gin, basque pepper brine, and an anchovy olive. Be still my heart it may have been the most interesting martini I have drank, and I have drank a loooot of martinis in my day. They also offer martini service which is fabulous but I did not partake as my girls were enjoying other cocktails. Would definitely come back for that.I also enjoyed a wonderfully dirty gin martini prepared classically after the San Sebastian one. Also great. Call me touristy, but there's something about being at a fancy hotel bar in New York City with your girlfriends surrounded by your favorite cocktails. Healing, as they say.While I did not eat, there is a nice menu that caught my eye. Swan Room also had a nice selection of zero-alcohol cocktails. While I did not partake in that, I love when a bar puts as much intention behind NA Drinks as they do proper cocktails for those who are not having a spirit-forward evening. Service at the bar was fabulous, and the dining room is once again absolutely gorgeous. This is a great spot to pop in for a cocktail, or celebrate a grand night out. I'd dress accordingly to match the decor, as it it giving fancy vibes and we love that.

After our reservation at UVA, we journeyed to the lower east side for drinks at Swan Room. This elegant and cozy cocktail lounge is connected to the Nine Orchard hotel and is the sister cocktail bar to Corner Bar on the same block. It was a rainy night, so the plush seating, velvet curtains, and intimate lighting were particularly inviting! I had a glass of Rosé while my friend tried a savory gin and tonic with carrots and coriander. The Swan Room is a great spot for drinks before dinner or a spot for a long debrief and lengthy conversations.

This place is perfect for the beginning or ending of your downtown evening. I love sitting at the bar with a girlfriend catching up on our week. I love sitting in a booth with a date it's so lush and romantic the decor envelops you and the well crafted cocktails hit just right

What a great cozy little lounge bar that used to be a bank. A fairly new spot in a hotel called nine Orchard. Adam, the host was very professional and accommodating. It's almost like a much smaller version of the Beekman if you've ever been to that hotel and bar. Definitely the most upscale joint for the area.

Wow. This spot was gorgeous. LOOK at the ceiling - beautiful chandeliers dropping down from a high ceiling with intricate details.We had a reservation for 9 but our table wasn't ready. We were taken to the bar where we ordered the yuzu and lemongrass martinis. We were there for a little while before we got taken to our seats but the bartender was really sweet and we enjoyed our drinks. We ended up getting seconds - the spicy goldfinch and garden margarita, which were our favorites for the night.Overall, beautiful spot - very elegant. Definitely a great date spot!

Swan bar is a lovely spot to grab a cocktail. The bar is very uniquely decorated, and almost has a royal feel to it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were very tasty. We stopped by before heading to dinner across the street.

An absolute favorite, a beloved spot for fashion afterparties. Elegant spot to network and meet creatives. Drinks are always spot-on, reservations recommended. Quiet enough for walkins on weekdays.

Speak-easy type of bar - in the middle of Dime Square! Unreal that something so fancy is in the Lower East side. Beautiful people and beautiful space - amazing mood lighting and luxe seating and finishing. Came here for a nightcap and spent $100 on 3 very dainty but delicious and well-done drinks. Beautiful cocktail spot in the LES. The room is magnificent with high ceilings that feel palatial. Perfect for impressing a date or friends from out of town. Killer standard dirty gin martini with great service to match. Adam at the door greeted us so kindly and entertained us while we waiting for the final touches on our table. He even gave us some spots nearby when we were on the way out which was so thoughtful! I sadly can't recall our servers name but she was lovely and highly attentive. Overall just warm staff all around. From the setting to the drinks to the staff I can't recommend this spot enough.
