We managed to snag a last-minute reservation for four on a Sunday evening. What a stroke of luck! The ambiance was instantly captivating - dimly lit, cozy, and buzzing with energy. The real pièce de résistance, however, was the craft cocktail menu. We took the plunge and ordered nearly every option: the Roasted Corn Sour, Green Mango Martini, Mushroom Margarita, Mole Negroni, and Salted Plum and Tamarind Milk Punch. Each drink was expertly crafted, with bold flavors and impeccable balance. Pricing was on par with other top NYC cocktail bars. We're already planning our return trip with friends to explore the food menu and revisit some of our new favorite cocktails. If you're a cocktail enthusiast, this place is an absolute must-visit!

Overall rating: 4.3I went here on my birthday without a reservation with 2 friends after a play. Thank you to the hostess for being able to squeeze us in. This is a beautiful date spot, can't say I have the same opinion for friends catching up. The music is very loud & at times I thought I was at a club. I can definitely see this as a Friday night late spot, but there was very little room for mingling. For food we got the Birria Grilled cheese & Nacho's Nacho. Both were good and initially thought as overpriced, the portion size makes up for it. This is definitely more of a 20s vibes, not sure if I've outgrown this type of spot.

Happy hour on a Friday evening was great! Walked in Friday ~5pm and was seated immediately. We really enjoyed the drinks and the lively casual atmosphere here! Agree with the other reviewers that it is on the louder side here, as this space was smaller than I imagined. Pricing was a bit high for a "happy hour" menu: 4.5/5 Fresca Tonic - my favorite drink of the night!4.5/5 Vodka y Soda4/5 Roasted Corn Sour4/6 Guac and Chips3/5 Happy Hour Tacos -- these were nothing to write home about for us, a bit underseasoned and lack of toppings would make me very likely to choose a different spot for tacos.

i agreee with all the other reviews saying it's way too loud and dark to have an actual conversation. weird and cramped seating arrangement. if you're at a table where some people are in the booth and others are in the chair the booth is wayyy taller than the chair. you have to scream in order to have a conversation.when i came in i got hassled by the bouncer who asked me if i had a reservation and looked me up and down as if i was in high school. it was also barely past 8pm at this time. also their drinks were so overpriced and i have a hunch they were PREmade. i didn't try the food but it looked just okayi got the milk slush drink and while it was good, it was $25 and only 4 oz. when i asked why my cup was only half full they said one portion is only 4 oz?? bc one serving or the alcohol portion of a single shot? i didn't really get it but oh well. i guess some of the drink concepts are interesting but the place is not cool enough to justify spending that much on a cocktail and bad (or lack of a) conversation. in essence you can choose to be a lively dancey club-vibe or loungey cocktail bar but not both.

When a bar hits the top 50 best in the world you've got to try it out! My husband and I ordered 5 cocktails and the guacamole to see what the hype was about...and we were pretty pleased! But agreed the pricing was a bit high. Roasted Corn Sour - I really really enjoyed this one. It tasted unique, fit the restaurant, looked pretty, and was incredibly well balanced. 5/5Mushroom margarita - I will say I enjoyed the drink, and it did taste like a margarita, but I didn't get the mushroom from it. 3/5Salted Plum & Tamarind Milk Punch - Definitely order this one!! A delicious fruity but not too sweet and not too creamy drink was unique and was both my husband and I's favorite! 5/5Vodka Y Soda - When you see a $20.50 vodka soda you're going to cringe, but I promise the flavors are bright and the guava is bursting with a unique flavor. 5/5Green Mango Martini - This drink was probably our least favorite. It didn't much resemble fruit or marg, and just wasn't for me. Not sure the tincture on top added anything special either. 2/5Overall due to the unique flavors and ingredients you may not find elsewhere.. I definitely think you should check it out and see what you think!

Pricey, but so fun. Detailed breakdown below:**Service, 5/5** Attentive and fun staff who set a great atmosphere and also come by often with water refills. We were lucky bc we didn't have a reservation but only had to wait outside for about 5 minutes. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Super fun, club-like interior. Not the best for holding a conversation, but perfect for an after-dinner cocktail (or two).**Price & portion, 3/5** Cocktails here are steep and are all about $20; the food options are also pricey for the small portion size, but everything is delicious. **Taste, 4.5/5** If you prefer a sweeter and lighter cocktail like me, definitely order the guava vodka soda. It's tropical, refreshing, and perfectly fruity. The roasted corn cocktail was a bit too alcohol-forward for me and wasn't my favorite, and the green mango cocktail was very strong and not for me either, but don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations based on your personal preferences!

I loved Superbueno. It's not quite what you would expect of a fancy cocktail bar as it has a much more casual vibe, the tables are small, the room comfortable. However, every dish on the menu we tried was stellar, and the drinks were consistently fantastic. We had a server who was incredibly attentive, helped make recommendations, and when we had tried all but two drinks on themenu, brought us a taste of the drinks complimentary so that we could try everything on the menu without having had too much. Every drink was super inventive, and tasty, some being stronger than others. My favorite was the mushroom margarita, but truly everything was good. Teh roasted corn sour was also quite special. I heard the Fresca Tonic is the most popular, and it's good, but I think the two others i liked better. Every dish from the caesar salad to the tacos was good. The real winner though were the Carne Asado fries. Can't go wrong with some steak on fries, especially a tasty skirt steak!I'll be coming back, you should too! If you're going just for a beer and guac though maybe go somewhere else.

Full disclaimer: my review is strictly based on the drinks. I visited because this spot was ranked #2 on North America's 50 Best Bars list, but honestly, I'm baffled. How is this possible? None of the cocktails I tried were impressive or memorable. * Guacamole y Chips: Lacked flavor and was very basic. I've had much better elsewhere. There was nothing special about the guacamole. * Mole Negroni: Overly heavy with mole(overpowering) and smoky. * Green Mango Martini: Premade in a bottle and served with a droplet of chili oil. It was just okay--nothing remarkable. * Breakfast Margarita: Bland and unbalanced. I struggled to finish it, and it didn't taste like a margarita at all.The music was incredibly loud, which I suppose contributes to the "vibe," but it makes having a conversation almost impossible--you have to shout. Overall, the cocktails were a major letdown, and I left feeling very disappointed. Despite the hype, I wouldn't recommend or return.

I'm a bit disappointed with this bar despite it being rated as one of the top 50 bars in the world. We made reservations on a Sunday late night, which wasn't too difficult to do the night before. Even at almost midnight, the place was filled up. The minute you walk in, you're thrown into a dark room lit with red lights and music blasting. It's so loud that you can barely have a conversation here, so not the best for dates or catching up with friends. We started off with a round of cocktails: Mushroom Margarita ($20.50), Roasted Corn Sour ($20.50), and Vodka Y Soda ($20.50). I didn't really taste the corn in the sour nor mushroom in the margarita. The vodka drink was the only light and refreshing one. Then we gave the drinks another try with the Mole Negroni ($20.50) and Salted Plum & Tamarind Milk Punch ($20.50). The mole was quite bitter and difficult to drink but the milk punch was a nice mix of tart and creamy flavors.Overall, I didn't love my drinks nor the vibe. This spot is better catered to your tequila drinkers where the fruitier flavors shine better. If you're celebrating a birthday, I did see them bring out shots and a dessert for a table nearby though!
