Sunflower NYC has a new location in East Village!!If you liked the original, you'll love the new location. Sunflower has brought their cheer over to East Village with a gorgeous new spot!I absolutely loved the interior with new photo opportunities throughout, the increased space, light and airy atmosphere and the same great attention to amazing food and service.Since I showed breakfast before, I decided to sample a few things from their lunch menu this time and they did not disappoint. I still was greeted with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. I loved the crunch of my bao buns and my shrimp Caesar salad wrap was so delicious. They're still waiting on their liquor license so brunch cocktails were not available at the time of my visit, but they still had fresh made coffee, teas and lemonades that are sure to put a pep in your step for the day. Thank you @sunflowernyc for having me backBe sure follow for more foodie adventures, save this post for later and head over to Sunflower East Village to add a little sunshine to your dayWhat We Had * Pork Bao Buns* Avo Caesar Wrap w/ Shrimp * Parmesan Truffle Fries* Salmon B-L-T-A * Caramel Iced Latte * Strawberry Mint Lemonade* Black Peach Iced TeaRestaurants in NYC, Brunch In NYC, Restaurants in East Village, Brunch in East Village, Best Brunch Near Me, Healthy Brunch Near Me, Best Brunch New York City,

The ambiance is perfect for a rainy day brunch, which is what we had. It's very comfortable and cute in the cafe. Music and noise levels are appropriate, enough people to not feel empty but doesn't feel crowded. Food is pretty tasty- the drip coffee is good. The service was honestly a little slow on a Saturday afternoon that wasn't too packed, and then when we paid I had to figure out how to use the Apple Pay / split bill function myself. Not difficult but probably not desired. I'd come back though for an easy brunch spot. Great for catching up with friends. It's cozy.

Sunflower was the perfect place for a weekend brunch if you're looking for classic brunch foods!I got the Rise N Shine which was so delicious. The potatoes were tender, the avocado was ripe, the eggs were cooked well, and the bacon was crispy. My favorite was the halloumi since it was nice and flavorful. It also came with toast on the side.I loved the setting inside. The servers were nice and attentive, and there were big windows surrounding the whole restaurant so there was a ton of sunlight coming in. There's a good amount of seating inside so we didn't have to wait for a table when we came on a weekend. Overall, a great brunch staple to add to the list and I will definitely be back again!

Amazing brunch spot! The interior is really cool. Lots of seating. We got drinks and brunch. The iced latte and hot tea were delicious and good portion sizes. The food is large portions- we could have split a plate. The food was fresh and so filling. Everyone would like something here as the menu has tons of options. Would love to come back for lunch. I saw some people working from here on a weekday which would be nice! Servers were friendly and checked in on us.

Food was good with huge portions! I ordered the East village and it came with potatoes, garlic kale (yum) bacon, sausage, egg and bread! The açaí bowl was sooo refreshing after being in the heat and humidity. The freddo cappuccino was good and strong. The service was a bit slow. There was only one person who was taking my groups order (15 of us) and made all the drinks first before taking our orders. The place is pretty clean and the decor was cute.

sunflower really is that girl - the food not only looks amazing but was delicious as well. the wait for sunday brunch in nyc is always a given, so if you've committed yourself to spending your morning hungover and huddled with strangers outside a crowded restaurant, make it this one - you'll at least be rewarded with a good breakfast at the end.

Great, sunny eating area with plenty of open tables for walk ins on a Sunday. The salads were huge with fresh, season grilled chicken. Some weird add ons on top that they let you remove

Food was cold and way over priced. Service was great. The eggs benedict sauce tasted like the subway smells! I want a refund! We also all had horrible indigestion after. Everything was cold! The barista was lovely. The service was lovely. That's the only reason I am giving this place 2 stars. Skip the flowers and pretty and serve warm food!
