We had been recommended this restaurant by a friend, and because we were rushing to catch a flight, called ahead on a weekday to see the wait time, and thankfully were told there was availability. When my party and I arrived were pleasantly surprised to find they had already prepared us a table in anticipation of us coming. The staff was very warm and friendly and attentive -- as an aside, I noticed one of the waitresses kindly checking in on a female customer at the bar to make sure she was ok when she was approached by a stranger who had briefly come into the restaurant. The food came promptly and was absolutely delicious. We ordered the BEST curry samosas of our lives, the Hua Pee Kati winter special (pork spare ribs, tomato banana blossom, long chili cilantro, coconut curry + a bowl of white rice), Khao Pad Rod Fai (the signature fried rice -- the crispy pork was AMAZING), and the Ped Toon (braised duck breast). We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to come back! I would highly recommend checking this place out~

Maybe the best Thai food i've had in NYC, with some of the worst service i've ever had???Took my mom out for dinner as she was visiting me! Our server was rude, made no conversation, answered to us without looking, & didn't know what was in their red blend of wine (nor made an effort to find out for us). I understand that the service & hospitality industry is hard, frustrating, whatever it is! but this left a really bad taste in my mouth despite the food being really great. Would love to try the rest of the menu, but unsure if i'll be back.

Upscale Thai food done right. The decor is themed after a dining train cart. It's furnished quite nicely and one of the best train cart executions alongside the outdoor dining shed at 4 Charles Prime Rib (if that dining shed is still around). They have a petite yet full bar. Maybe a dozen whiskeys which were all solid picks. A handful of wines and few beers which were focused on artisan and craft offerings. Appealing cocktail list with one of the best house cocktails that I've recently had. Their Good Morning Brooklyn is a mezcal and guava cocktail which scrumptious and a must try for anyone who has a sweet tooth. I also had a mezcal margarita which was superb. Food wise, the chefs did a great job of incorporating traditionally Thai flavors like fish oil and Thai chilis but serving them in magnitudes that are agreeable with western palates. I find most authentic Thai spots use too much fish oil for my liking, so I appreciated them toning it down here. On the other, I was craving a bit more spiciness from Thai chilis. I'll continue seeking a spot that will make me cry from spiciness like Ugly Baby did. We started with the Hor Mok. These were curry fish cakes topped with crab and chili slivers. I highly recommend this starter. Super savory. My favorite incorporation of chili for the meal. The chills were fresh and spicy offering a robust and uniquely Thai flavors.Next, we shared the papaya salad. This was the spiciest dish we had with some green chilis hidden in the salad. It left a mild burning sensation in my mouth a give me a very mild nose drip which I only needed to wipe away a couple times. On the other hand, my wife found it intolerable a needed a glass of Thai iced tea to recover. Order wisely! Aside from the spiciness, there was plenty of acidity, nuttiness, and sweetness too. A well balanced salad. For the main course, we shared the short rib curry. This was an ultra succulent and savory dish. The curry was rich and grant. The short rib was ultra tender and fell off the bone without being mushy. It had some crispy string beans which provided an excellent compliment to the beef. We were too stuffed to try either of the dessert options. Service at the bar was excellent. Very attentive and receptive. Pacing of the food was slightly quick. Seemed like everything came out as ready. There was only one restroom in the restaurant which was spacious and gender neutral. The restroom has accessibility bars but there is a step required to enter the restaurant.

Grabbed a same-day reservation for 4 people for dinner on a Saturday night (holiday weekend). They stuck us at the worst table right next to the kitchen, but like I said, it was a last-minute res so I get it. I had the something between us cocktail which was decent, then we shared the hor mok (steamed branzino curry custard), ma praw kua gluer, crab curry, Sukh salad, khao soi and ped toon. The khao soi was the best dish, followed by the crab curry.

Amazing gem! I came around 630pm on a Tuesday without a reservation thinking it wouldn't be needed because there were reservation time slots online. However, this place filled up so fast after we got lucky and seated at the counter without a reservation. People were waiting outside for a table. The decor and ambiance of the place was lovely. It felt very homey and themed like you were in a train car. I loved how the menu had dishes id never tried before. We got the Hor Mok, Gor Gluay, Pla Tod Samun Prai and a coconut milk taro ball dessert. The Hor Mok (4/5) was pretty good but not super mind blowing. It was a nice option if you want to try a curry as an appetizer. I really liked the Gor Gluay (5/5) and the texture of the pancakes and the wontons. Never had this before so it was a nice experience! The Pla Tod Samun Plai (5/5) was pretty big and glad we split it between ourselves. The sauce was great and the fish was perfectly cooked. Rice wasn't included so we had to add an order on the side. The taro dessert was 5/5. I love taro and coconut so it was perfect. Overall I'd come back in a heart beat! This place is so unique and cosy and underrated.

Love the addition of Sukh to the neighborhood! The interior has a unique charm, reminiscent of an old train car, offering an intimate and cozy atmosphere that is perfect for smaller groups. I've visited both on a weekday and a weekend, and it was pretty crowded both times so I highly recommend making a reservation. My favorites include:Somtum Thai Kai Kem (Papaya Salad) - Perfect spice level for me. So flavorful!Kang Pu (Crab Curry) - Comforting and savory. Portion size was on the smaller side but they did not skimp out on the crab meat. Ped Toon (Braised Duck Breast) - Fall off the bone tender! The combination of flavors was phenomenal and very appetizing. Poo Nim Pad Pong Ka-Ree (Soft Shell Crab) - Unfortunately this is a summer item that I wish they offered year-round. The crab absorbs a generous amount of sauce, enhancing the flavor with every bite.Ticket to Sukh (Cocktail) - Refreshing and easy to drink, though I wish it was served in a martini glass or coupe. The egg whites should be savored with each sip, but the tall glass made it challenging to do so.The Khao Tom Haeng and Larb Nurh were okay but not as impressive as the other dishes. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was here recently with my friends for a bday celebration. We had reservations for early dinner and the place was empty when we arrived but it sure filled up fast. Our waitstaff gave us a review on the menu and also guided us on what to order. Most of the items we got were Spicy except the Branzino. But it was all delicious. The short ribs could have been a bit softer but it was bathed in a delicious curry sauce. Honestly everything had a different flavor profile. I enjoyed the Hor Mok, spicy but it reminded me of a dish we also made back home. The Khao Khai Ra-bert I believe was the spiciest dish we got and it was my favorite. The omelette is super fried in a way it's not really egg like anymore. Lots of pepper. We tried 2 dessert dishes, 1 was similar to. Filipino cassava cake and it was served with ice cream. Another dish was similar but it was warm and soup like. I didn't really like the soup like one but my friends enjoyed it. The table had a mix of mocktails and cocktails. The serving portions are not to extreme and not tiny. Service was rather fast as well. I would recommend rsvp esp for busy nights.

I started off with the corn ribs for the appetizer which were really good. It has a spicy sweet chill powder on it which was unique. For my entree, I had the kapraw moo which is minced pork with Jasmin rice and it was so good. It def has a kick to it in terms of spice. Not enough where you can't enjoy it but enough if you don't eat spicy food regularly, it can catch you off guard. I would def come back here to try the other entrees. The waitress was beyond accommodating and kept checking in to see how we were which is a plus.
