I had a fantastic experience!! The bartender Jorge makes an amazing espresso martini. Thanks to Erika and Bella for the best service. I'm definitely coming back again!

I came here on a Saturday night with a 9:15p reservation. I got there early and they were able to seat me without the rest of my party. They have bar food on the menu which didn't have many options. Most options were $20. The charcuterie looked tasty but I got the olives and nuts snack. Drinks were around $20 each. I got a lemon drop which was super good! Would I come back? Probably for brunch for a better selection of food. At 10pm the party starts which includes bottle service options. The DJ was great!

Christmas in NYC is always super magical and super special, especially when you're celebrating the season with amazing friends. During our visit, we decided to check out Starchild Rooftop Bar & Lounge on the 13th floor above 48th Street; which is attached to Rosevale Kitchen & Rosevale Cocktail Lounge (as well as Civilian Hotel). What a treat! This rooftop bar not only offered a warm place for my friends and I to sit and chat, but a wonderful extension to our holiday celebrations with great views of New York City, terrific drinks, and wonderful light meals, which were perfect for sharing. Surprisingly, for a midtown Manhattan establishment with wonderful views, the prices were not bad at all. I'd like to pay extra attention to the staff for not only Starchild lounge bit for the restaurant and lounge as well. Everyone from the hostess(es), to our waitress, to the bartenders weee all super chill and helpful; and we could tell that they really enjoyed their job. In fact, it was pajama@night, so all everyone was dress in their favorite holiday bed-ware. Menus items chosen included:- TUNA TARTARE Capers, Cucumber, Pepper, Potato Chips- SOFT BAKED PRETZELHoney Mustard, Beer Cheese, Tabasco Mayo, Hot Honey- FRENCH BREAD PIZZABaguette, Mozzarella, Marinara, Basil, PepperoniI'm really looking forward to revisiting this location to not only eat at the main restaurant, but to enjoy some live jazz (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays) in the cocktail lounge. Elegant and sexy vibes ! Rooftop bar with great and amazing views! The venue wasn't as busy so service was quick! Loved the shot I ordered, can't wait to go back again !

I had the worst new years of my life here. The staff and management were completely unprepared for an event as big as new years. Let's start with the fact that we were towards the front of the line and still didn't enter the venue until around 10pm and the event started at 9pm. There was no coat check (in the winter) so we had to hold our coats the entire night. We paid for an open bar (shots not included) and our drinks were maybe 1oz of alcohol only each. The event was advertised as having three bars and there were only two. I voiced my concerns to a manager and all they said was "sorry." If I could rate this place -1 stars I would

After having drinks downstairs at the cocktail bar and dinner at the Kitchen, we decided to have a nightcap up on the roof. I was pleasantly surprised at how low key this was for a rooftop bar. We were promptly seated and ordered our espresso martinis (non frozen). The view is really great and we were able to catch a lovely sunset. People came and went so the place never seemed to be full even after dark. I would definitely come back before too many people discover the place.

I came here for my birthday on a Saturday night. I was expecting to find a good crowd, but had an eclectic mix of people and it was kind of empty and very loud. The rooftop had one small area where you could go outside and check out the view. The space was nice, just a bit empty. The drinks were a bit on the more expensive side.

Really pretty interior with nice views especially during sunset. The service was friendly and the drinks were delicious. This rooftop is located on top of a hotel. It was pretty quiet and empty on a Friday evening however they have a DJ spinning the beats after a certain hour.

This place is the cutest. It's in civilian hotel which is kind of hard to miss but it was fine, just smaller compared to others. The hotel decor was really nice and festive for Halloween. The rooftop is easy enough to get to and it's a cute area. We sat indoors bc it was a bit chilly and the drinks were so good! Def try the lychee drink!
