Attended an industry event for Pinhook here. Staff worked hard and it was busy. I believe the bartenders name was Danny, he was super nice and courteous. Drinks were good, the sliders were delicious.I also respect how hard the manager worked supporting his staff during the event. Overall, a little hard to find but a nice gem.

Girlfriend time in the city. Saw &Juliet which was wonderful. Wanted to see the Christmas tree one more time at Rockefeller Center. We were looking for a classy bar to toast our great afternoon. We sure found one!Smith & Mills is designed in such a classy old New York way. Fantastic bar to sit at and chat. Nice little tables and booths too.The bartenders were so friendly and attentive. We had gin martinis, perfectly made. We decided to try two oysters each, then two small plates. The shrimp scampi was yummy. The homemade cavatelli with mushrooms and truffles was out of this world. Note these are small plates. Perfect for us.We also shared their creme brulee, quite a large portion of that. Delicious. The bartender recommended a French rose which was excellent. I haven't been to the original Smith & Mills in Tribeca but will definitely return to this little gem. They just opened three weeks ago. Delighted to share this first review to start my 2024 Yelping on its way! Cheers!

Stopped in for drinks and appys mid afternoon on a Wed. Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the ambiance and company of the bartenders. One employee was hosting a gin tasting table and came over to get some supplies from the bartender. He chatted us up and shared info about the gin and supplies he was using. The appys were delicious. Crowd showed up around 4-5 pm as expected and it got really busy. But, by then we were on our way to more sightseeing in the Big Apple.

Went here with work colleagues and absolutely loved the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the tapas. The cod and ham croquettes are the best I've tried in the city! The place can be hard to find since it's under the Rockefeller Center, but it was very busy on a Friday night

Went for drinks and had a good wine selection. There were a few other occupied tables so, it was very quiet inside. The atmosphere was cute and moody with dim lighting.
