Got mild Jjampong ($16), which was almost perfect for me. It was still a bit spicy, so I couldn't have more than several spoons of the broth. It was so red that I thought it was gonna be hella spicy, but I was so relieved to find it wasn't killer spicy. It was perfect otherwise. It comes in a huge bowl with plenty of seafood. I didn't think I'd be able to finish, esp considering I wasn't that hungry, but I did. All of the shrimp was peeled, except for the bigger one. I really wish they'd peel all of the shrimp.

For what it is, it hit the spot for me. Or rather one half of it did. I got the 짬짜면 and I was in a hurry. Definitely demolished the black bean noodle side, but the jjampong side was a bit bland. Also way too hot temperature wise for me to scarf down so I packed it up. I still ate it later.Honestly for the price point and how fast the service was, I was satisfied, and accomplished my mission.

Seoul is a good option if you're craving casual, reasonably priced Korean food with huge portions. Located in the food hall on 32nd street, it has a large menu with discounted prices if you pay in cash. I ordered the seafood ramen, which nicely made with vegetarian broth when I asked for it. It came with octopus, some veggies, and lots of shrimp. Not the most exciting ramen you'll ever have, but it hit the spot on a cold day and left me full for the rest of the day. Wait time was about 10 minutes and I had no trouble finding a seat at one of the big communal tables.

This stall is located in food gallery 32, towards the back of the hall. It serves Korean-style Chinese food (jjiampong) as well as some traditional Korean fare (bibim naegmyung). Prices are reasonable and service is efficient. I ordered their jajangmyung at the register and was given a pager. It went off quickly, and the food was ready fast. The noodles were generously portioned and springy. The black bean sauce was added directly on top of the noodles and I mixed it together. The sauce had onions and pork. I also received a side of pickled radish, which went well with this dish. The meal was satisfying and not too salty. Confort food at its best!

12/21/23: My new go to spot for lunch when in the office.Good deal for the money. One of the options in a Korean BBQ food court. Service pretty quick, place and pay for order. Receive buzzer which will buzz when meal ready for pickup.I always get the spicy chicken with carrots and broccoli. Very spicy, and seasoned well to taste. Includes white rice a type of Asian Cole slaw and soup.Has yet to disappoint.

Terrible cold noodle at the lowest price.Stopped in for a quick meal and the main perk is the selection and the fact that that cash has a discount. Besides that the cold noodles were not good. They had sat long before being made and were gummy and thick. The topping were okay but I felt it was lacking in most categories except the taste.Would not recommend.

For what it's worth, this place is a solid 3.5-4 stars just by convenience, efficiency, cost, and taste. Not the best food that you'll ever have, but it will satisfy your cravings, especially on a Fri/Sat/Sun night when other sit-down spots in the area are full. 10% discount- cash pay.You can make it a casual date night by finding a place in the food court to eat, or order to go (which I often do).I love their champong here: large portions, generous vegetables/shrimp/seafood. They give you a buzzer too, so you don't have to wait around in the crowded area as you're waiting for your food.I come time and time again.

We got the half jijiangmyun (black bean noodles) with the sweet & sour chicken. I felt like it was really good. Everything tasted really fresh. Though there wasn't much meat in the black bean noodles. It was mostly onions and tiny pieces of meat. The sweet & sour chicken had good flavor. But it wasn't that crispy. We were so full even sharing it between the 2 of us. We weren't able to finish it in the end. Next time we will ask for a container. We sat upstairs on the 3rd floor. It was pretty crowded at 5:30pm. But we had enough room to eat.

Food for the Seoul. On our last day in New York we didn't really know where exactly to eat but we knew we had to rush to the airport so we found ourselves in this food gallery. We saw many options but making a quick decision we decided to give Seoul a try. We got the beef pho and the kimchi ham ramen. They asked if we wanted it spicy and we said yeah. The beef pho is nothing like Vietnamese style but it was ok. The kimchi ramen was the same but was hard to finish. Overall not a bad pick. The portions are big and good to eat for the cold weather and if you want something fast!

If you want quick korean food that's cheap with big portions, Seoul is the place to go. It's one of the cheapest vendors in ktown and the food isn't bad at all. It's located in the back of the Food Gallery 22 on the first floor. Most of the dishes are $10-$15 which is an amazing deal.I got the dukbokki ($11.99) and it hit the spot for my korean comfort food cravings. It came with egg, fish cakes, and onions which are all my favorite add ins. Was it the best dukbokki i've ever had? Definitely not , but for $12 it was still very good and was enough for my friend and I to share. I'll definitely come back to try their other dishes but I had a positive experience.
