This place has a particular vibe . . . kinda like laid back hipster vibe. Opentable says there are no reservations on a Friday night, but you show up and there are only a couple of tables occupied and some bar seats. Service is very laid back. I didn't feel neglected exactly, but it's very informal.I'm not into oysters, but that's a big part of this place. I wish I could have some lobster, but can't do it in the exoskeleton, so I passed on that. I landed on the flat iron steak because the server said she would choose that over the lobster mac n cheese. The steak was cooked appropriately, medium, and the flavor wasn't bad. Salsa verde kinda fell flat. Decent cut of beef--no fat. The fries, or "chips" were great. Hot and beefy and crispy.I also had the deviled eggs, which weren't terrible. Decent seasoning with sriracha, but honestly, some salt and pepper and a little pizazz would have been as good or better. They have an interesting platter called "The Sea Wolf," which is half lobster, a prime Pat La Frieda burger, cheddar, bacon, fries, and salad. I'm still wondering if I should have tried the lobster mac n cheese. They also have seared salmon, fish and chips, spicy shrimp, various types of burritos. They also have a sandwich menu . . . another thing I would be interested in trying would be the hot lobster roll.Drinks aren't bad. I had the plum beach mule, which was probably my favorite. Vodka, lime, plum ginger beer. The margarita was fine. The Raspberry fizz was a little disappointing, pretty plain with whiskey, raspberry reduction lemon extract, mint, and soda.I would come here again to try more dishes, especially as I visit Bushwick often, but the staff spent most of their time congregating and speaking amongst themselves and I usually had to flag my server down. Bit of a bummer. Just depends on the mood you're looking for. They do have daily brunch 12-3:30, so brunchers might be drawn to this.

I've been to this spot before and had positive experiences, but my recent visit was disappointing. It seems like the quality may be on the decline. The fried fish on my sandwich was soggy, which was a letdown, and the shrimp basket had more fries than shrimp. However, the oysters and buffalo wings on happy hour were still on point, which was a saving grace. I'm hoping they can get back to their previous standards, but based on this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon.

Frist of all, I love coming to eat around the area since it was becoming so popular for the restaurant. We made a reservation through the app but after they seated us, the server tends to forget about us so we waited for a while to get serve that was turn off for a place that such a popular. We had 4 sets of appetizers since my husband wanted something different than me and we didn't agree. He had..... - fried Calamari: 8/10: it was crispy and I tried some of them- Chili Crisp Shrimp: 6/10: I gave this score because it was only 5 shrimp and the sauce and how they prepared and cooked the shrimp wasn't reach my Afor the price of $18 this dish should be only $13I had......- A dozen of Oyster: it was ok with happy hour price for $1.5 each- A dozen of middle neck clams for $1.75 eachOverall my raw bar was good, I love cocktail sauce and spicy sauce they gave me. For the main curse we both had a whole lobster which i'm ok to work with but my lazy husband only want to have lobster tail but they didn't have anything closer. I ended up have to cracked all shell of the lobster which i didn't mind but I may have to open a Lobster farm to serve my huband who only wants to to eat lobter tale for his laziness. LOL.Overall, We made a reservation and it was good until we sat to our table. The server let us wait for a while until he realize we were a new customer and didn't order anything yet. The place seem to be busy and lots of worker tend to avoid you when you need something which was bad. My first approached was very polite and looking around to see anyone available or eyes contact with me. After no one avoiding, so I start to call when someone passing by. I understand if you are busy but communication is must. Good server should at least tell the customer they saw it and they will be back. I don't mind waiting as long as they know they will come back. This Seafood place is good but if you go when they are busy maybe you cann't expect the good service. Food was good just people who works there were less care.

Guess Ive just gotta revisit places to leave reviews because I'm unsure why I never left one here before (heheh) If you're looking for a chill casual spot to meet and chit chat on a warm day , sea wolf is the place to be . If you come for happy hour and you enjoy margaritas and oysters you'll leave happy for sure . I always have a good time here . The fish tacos are good (not on happy hour) and the Brooklyn something (mixed frozen drink) is great ! But if you want to do strict happy hour, get a margarita or pain chill and ask for an extra shot ! Seats are great pretty uncomfortable tho .

Have eaten here twice now! The first time was for dinner, where my friend and I were seated inside and shared the lobster Mac and cheese, oysters and a side of corn. Both were amazing!! The inside is really cool and has a large windowed garage looking door that can open and shut, making for a unique vibe. The second time was during happy hour, as my partner and I saw there was a great deal ($1.50/oyster, $7 house wine). We sat outside and were a little disappointed in the service as the table wasn't cleaned properly from the last party, the beer tap was down, and it took a while for our orders to be taken and to be seated, despite there only being a few others dining there. I will say, the oysters during the happy hour were MASSIVE (see photo). The toppings were served in little droplet bottles which I thought was really cute, but the cocktail sauce was a bit watery and not a large enough portion.I'd come here again, especially for a big seafood dinner, but I wouldn't expect coming during happy hour and getting anything particularly special.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday right when it opened at noon and ended up staying for two hours! It was pretty empty at the beginning but filled up over the course of our meal. I like how open the space is. And there's a good amount of seating available. Good for big and small parties. We got a little bit of everything. Our server was so nice and let us stay for as long as we wanted after we paid. We ordered:1. Cold Brew Martini (5/5): Delicious. Tasted like coffee ice cream in cocktail form!2. Oysters (5/5): Most of them were pretty large which was awesome. Tasted great!3. Hot Lobster Roll with salad (5/5): Loved how buttery the roll was although I have def had lobster rolls with more lobster. The kale salad it came with was dressed well!4. Side of fries (3/5): A bit toooo crispy for my liking but a good sized portion. 5. Tiramisu (3/5): This was just okay. Not too memorable.

This spot was giving summer vibes. We came on a day it wasn't too hot out so we ate outside. The service was super quick and great. I loved the fact that the frozen rum punch was so cheap and it was yummy too. The calamari was delicious and fried perfectly. I really liked the fried shrimp too, but I wish it came with more. The fries were pretty ordinary but not bad. My husband liked his burger and lobster but thought it could use a little more flavor. Overall a good meal and experience.
