Sea Island Seafood

Woke up this afternoon feeling blue. Food usually helps to ease my dusty mood. I found Sea Island on an app. Lucky me.An order of grilled twin lobster tails in garlic butter sauce, was just lovely. Collard greens were lightly seasoned and filled with tasty bits of turkey meat. Baby ears of corn were nice and sweet.I received a text while waiting that my delivery would be late. When my food arrived, there were extras-extra corn, greens, 2 delicious fountain drinks and they were only running a few minutes behind. I dialed Sea Island up to thank them. A gentleman answered by the name of Prince. Maybe he's the chef? Either way, thank you Prince. Thank you Sea Island!

Order you will not be disappointed. They provided 3 meals a day to over 125 staff at the Aqueduct . Everyone was satisfied for the most part. There will always be that one person who will complain how it doesn't taste as good as theirs . Support Sea they're great!!

IT'S A VERY SMALL STORE! Open until 11pmIn my opinion, the food is cooked homestyle, sometimes they overdo the seasoning. THEY SERVE BIG PORTIONS THO!Other than that, I think it's family owned , black owned and they could use some help. If they hired more servers.

I ordered this food right before they closed off of DoorDash. And I just want to say my cousin and I CLEARED THE PLATE! You hear me CLEARED. We're always saying there's not a lot of restaurants that can really fry some fish we gave it a try and it was SUPERB ! I'm a Georgia peach so that's big coming from me. The collards didn't have to be that good nice and crisp seasoned to perfection *licks fingers* the cabbage was cabbagingggg DEAR GOD. We will be ordering again. I wish I had a picture but I demolished it from just a little tasty taste lmfao. MAD GOOD MAD GOOD 10/10

Was craving seafood and decided to look for local eats. This was highly rated on Google so decided to check it out! Hole in the wall store front, you must walk all the way to the back of the restaurant if you'd like to order (know your order before you reach the front, or the locals will tell you how they feel about that! ) To your left you'll see the pickup window with a cafeteria-style selection of sides and heated goods. Most workers had on masks, and there is hand sanitizer in the front. We ordered the fried catfish dinner, which comes with two sides, and we were recommended by Chef CJ (the owner...?) that they're known for their macaroni & cheese (so OBVIOUSLY we had to get that). We also had gotten the mashed potatoes because it comes with garlic butter and YUM! They offer tartar sauce and other sauces as well, you can just ask! I love crab boil bags and have tried them across many restaurants in NYC. I was indecisive on whether to get the regular boil bag (which includes potatoes, broccoli, & corn) or the ULTIMATE boil bag, which includes all the aforementioned and a lobster tail, shrimp, & some sausage. I just ate so I decided to go with the regular, and Chef CJ asked, "Are you sure? If you're here you might as well go for the ultimate experience!" Hahah next time indeed! There are no tables or outdoor seating so everything is takeout/delivery. They seemed very busy delivery wise, so check them out! When we took home the food, OH my goodness. It was so fresh & delicious, it's making me hungry thinking of it right now! The catfish was still juicy not dry, and had good seasoning. And it's no wonder they're known for their macaroni & cheese, as well as their whipped mashed potatoes. So good! The boil bag was tightly secured in a box, as well as a bag, so A+ packaging. And lo & behold when I opened the bag, Chef CJ gave us some shrimp to sample as well. Thank you SO much Chef for your kindness. It truly says a lot about your character, and your restaurant's. Their house sauce was tangy & a tolerable spice level, so I assume you can add on the spice if you asked for it. It was a little thin, but everything was cooked and seasoned very well. The shrimp were large and not dry at all, and the corn so sweet! The only flaw I would say about this experience was the roasted potatoes, I believe they've been sitting out for a while, so they were a bit dry and hard. I did see them frequently change out their bins, so I'm guessing it's due to popularity. We also ordered their FRESH in-house lemonade & strawberry lemonade. SO GOOOOOD! And just $2! I might drop by just for that if I'm ever in the neighborhood All in all, definitely making another trip there for lunch, thanks for making the experience great!

This is hands down the best seafood and soul food spot in Brooklyn. Food is very well seasoned and they put their heart into it.

I was looking for some good chili shrimp and I found the flavor I was looking for. I stepped on for the first time and it was amazing. Glad I made the stop ! Really good flavors. A must try !!!

It was cool. If im in the area again Id order but i couldnt see coming over there just for food. Prices are reasonable, good music playing & the staff was friendly. I wish they had a dine in option. I wanted to try the fried crab legs & shrimp mac n cheese but i wanted to eat it hot so i skipped ordering it. But again if Im driving by again im get some.

After my order was canceled online I just had to make my way there as I have been looking for some good seafood. The food isn't bad however the crab boil lacked seasoning. The fried crab legs were great but to much work in my opinion. The collard greens were bland . The cabbage was great . I will give them another shot just next time I want the seasoning for the fried crab on my crab boil . Also it's a small space , call ahead . They do offer discounts for city employees. Overall everyone was pleasant and it was a good experience.

Spent $95 tonight at this place 01/12/23 I order 2 salmon dinner specials both orders consist of the same thing which was honey salmon wit canned yams and Mac nd cheese The canned yams was over saturated with cinnamon that's all I tasted I attempted to enjoy my dinner the salon had no taste to it no seasoning or anything was added to the salmon all I tasted was honey salmon was bland Asf the Mac nd cheese tasted like str8 seasoning adobe I'm so disappointed never again will I spend my hard earn money on some shitty ass food like this again
