I tried the schnitzi schnitzel and the flavoring was perfect! A hint of bbq and when added to the lettuce, tomato, bbq sauce and pickle (get the pickles!) it made for pure deliciousness. Sorry no photo... didn't last long enough.

It's too big to be a hole in the wall, but the food is good enough to be one. They serve chicken schnitzels in different flavors named after ethnicities (Indian, Greek, Polish, etc). I enjoyed the Yemenite which had a fresh vegetables and high quality bread to make a sandwich of it.

The food is fresh and comes quickly. The freshly baked bread is delicious, as are the spices used with the sandwich (I got the "Italian" schnitzel sandwich). I am a satisfied customer and would come back again upon a Boro Park visit. I have no idea why there are negative reviews? The establishment is clean and the food comes quickly and is delicious. What's to dislike?

The best schnitzel to eat in Brooklyn without spending an arm and a leg. I always get the Greek sandwich, but basically all are just about the same, and the best sauces to put with that are Garlic Mayo, Sweet Chili(not spicy) is great

This is almost exactly like the Midwood shnitzi. The food is flavorful and completely satisfied my craving for fried meat. They have identical menus and options, including some seriously heart attack inducing combos. Yikes - I hope they have a defibrillator behind the counter ;)To echo what the other posters said though, I do not recommend popping in for a "quick bite" because the service is extraordinarily slow. It's such a shame really because otherwise I would love to take people there. If you really want to try it: place a phone order for take out or delivery.

put your order in and return in 45minutes and the nice young man making your sandwich will call your number out. Yes! it takes between 30-40min for your very easy, simple sandwich to be made. This place is a Kosher McDonald's fast-food joint, with the wait time of a gourmet restaurant. And I feel a little bad complaining about the wait time, b/c the young guys kill themselves working hard around the clock making food - but it's obvious they need a bigger kitchen/staff or something b/c 40 minutes is a "Ridick" time to wait for a sandwich that took 5 minutes to eat.

Heartburn in a bun, which is exactly what one expects from a good fast food joint, and Schnitzi delivers on this expectation perfectly. The menu choices read like a schizophrenic pothead's day-dream. The French dijon mustard breading, a Chinese sesame spin, an Indian curry spice mix and a mind curling (pun intended) crushed Bissli BBQ version are just the basis for the culinary aneurysm that follows when you get asked for your choice of any combination of garlic mayo, pesto, chimichurri, honey-bbq, vinegar, horseradish mayo, mustard, sweet chili and more. The effect is compounded once you realize that you don't get to choose just one or two or three. You just keep shooting words, and they'll slather your king-sized, lettuce-tomato-pickle-onion stuffed baguette with whatever hits. And then of course there's the deep frying of the schnitzel itself, and the onions, if you choose to add more grease to your meal and your arteries. But, I'm not complaining! This sandwich is big and crazy, and maybe even crazy big, depending on how hungry you are. But, it's filled with all sort of Jewish goodness, and that makes this place kosher, real kosher.

Just like their location in Flatbush, the sandwiches are good and they have a great choice of sauces. I always buy the Spanish shnitzel on a baguette. The chicken always tastes fresh, and the salad enhances the sandwiches flavor. Ask them to recommend sauces that go with YOUR sandwich. Will definitely return.
