I had the chance to visit Scarpetta for a team dinner 2 days ago, and it was such a treat! The ambiance here is right up my alley: dim lighting that sets the perfect mood for conversation and relaxation. Whether you're catching up with friends, impressing a date, or having a special meal with family, this place knows how to create the right vibe, for sure!We started with some amazing appetizers: the Yellowtail, Tuna 'Susci,' and Burrata. I've been dipping my toes into more sushi lately, and now I can officially add Tuna 'Susci' to my list of wins (Yellowtail was already a favorite of mine). Each bite was fresh and packed with flavor. It's a must-try if you love seafood. For my main dish, I had the Short Rib & Bone Marrow Agnolotti, and oh my goodness, it was incredible. Rich, decadent, and perfectly cooked... I was in pasta heaven. I don't remember what the rest of the team had because I was too busy savoring every bite of my dish, but all the dishes were a hit all around the table. We also enjoyed some fantastic drinks. I had a glass of Verdicchio, which was crisp and refreshing, pairing perfectly with the appetizers. I also got to taste the Negroni Mediterraneo, and wow, it was delicious! Bold and smooth, with a unique twist that made it stand out from your usual Negroni. Both drinks really elevated the experience. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel seamless. I really appreciate when the staff knows how to strike the balance between checking in and giving you space to enjoy your food and company.Scarpetta absolutely lived up to my expectations, and I can't wait to go back. Next time, I'll definitely dive deeper into the menu because everything looks so tempting. Highly recommend!

Came to Scarpetta for restaurant week and tried some of the most spectacular dishes on the menu. This restaurant is also so beautiful and situated in an ideal part of the city! I ordered the polenta with mushrooms which was so creamy, smooth, and delicious. I wish it had some sort of chili oil component but other than that it was heavenly. The roast chicken was cooked to perfection. A crispy exterior and a moist interior, that chicken was so good. I also had a chance to try the Cacio Pepe ravioli which was so simple but so delicious. The panna cotta was the highlight of the show. It was such a refreshing dessert and it made for the perfect last bite. For $60 per person Scarpetta is definitely a restaurant I would go to during restaurant week if you have the chance. Portions are on the smaller side too so it definitely makes sense to come during a pri fixe.

What a great weekend brunch place in the city! There are many options available here to cater vegetarian diet.We started off with a complimentary plate of fresh bread along with olive oil and dips. I am a sucker for a good focaccia bread and it did live up to my expectations! The spaghetti was pretty amazing - the tomato sauce was not too tangy and it was perfectly balanced. Such a simple pasta but it had just the right flavor. We all loved pumpkin gnocchi as well - those truffle on the top!!!We also order almond French toast and it was delish! The orange preserve it came with was not too citrusy which I liked. The service is great and the ambiance is pretty cool!

Bitten by crazy mosquitos and other creepy crawlies even though I was wearing long pants. It was raining outside, so maybe that's why? I didn't understand it.Bathroom is a bit of a walk.Food quality was fine, that's never an issue here. Drink menu is a bit lackluster. The after-work happy hour crowd can be taxing.RECOMMENDED.

When it comes to Italian food, I feel like I might be missing something because I almost never feel that a few pieces of stuffed pasta warrants a nearly $40 price tag. I'm not at all saying the food isn't tasty, but I find most restaurant portions for Italian food too precious, the flavors a bit muted, and the overall experience always leaves me feeling like I should've spent my money elsewhere, yet these places are absolutely packed all the time. I tried the famous tomato basil spaghetti here. It's fine. I don't get the hype. The other dishes however, pretty tasty!I let my other dining counterparts at the table order the tomato basil pasta which I tried a taste of, but I wanted something heartier for my main and got the stuffed zucchini and squash blossom pasta. It was totally palatable, but I just went back to the photo I took and counted just 9 pieces of pasta, and it left me wanting much more--especially for $34. Yes I supplemented with plenty of appetizers, including the beet salad, charred octopus, creamed polenta, scallop crudo, and while everything was tasty, the portions were too precious and I was still hungry at the end. The place is beautiful, maybe the sort of place folks go for celebratory meals or power business lunches. The wine list was divine and our servers were really on it. So it's a great dining experience outside the portions really.

Excellent service--we loved our server! He really went above and beyond and was clearly very passionate about their menu/food. The homemade spaghetti was delicious--homemade noodles, simple but high-quality tomato and basil sauce. Yummy bread for the table of various kinds. Relatively easy to make a reservation here--just if you make a reservation for 2:30 they ask you to come 10-15 mins early because they close at 2:30 pm, so be aware of that! A lovely place to eat lunch or dinner and chat with your people--they are accommodating for groups (we had 6 in ours).

Always amazing experience when visiting Scarpetta. Our server Manolo was attentive and kind. He share the specials and noted dietary restrictions. The complimentary bread basket is always fresh and delicious. We ordered scallops, burrata, and beet salad as shared apps - they were light and refreshing. For my main I went with the spaghetti. It was a simple yet delicious dish! Highly recommend so good!! For dessert we ended with the yogurt panna cotta which was light and not too sweet. It's an upscale restaurant with low lighting and lively atmosphere. Dress your best, They also do well with large groups.

Chic ambiance & setting- very hip. Minimalistic every way- including the amount of food on your plate. 8 tiny ravioli for dinner & less than half of a filet of Bronzino with an equally small amount of potatoes. It was all tasty. Basically paid a fortune for empty plates.

I had a really love meal here ages now, that still deserves a 5-star review. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was lovely as well. The duck foie gras ravioli was the star for the show for me. The foie gra is light but pairs with the cream sauce and glaze with a thin pasta casing was perfection. Literally like a soft pillow burst of flavor. I also really loved the bread basket. I haven't seen a bread variety that had melty cheese/salami inside (the 'pizza') and the accompaniment of spread was just so good. The spaghetti reminded me to enjoy the simpler things in life. Something I would not usually order but the noodles were cooked perfectly and the marinara sauce was light, yet you could taste how fresh the tomatoes were and the herb aromatics were there. We genuinely enjoyed everything we tried here!

Had dinner during restaurant week. Food was amazing. The waiter was a bit arrogant and gave the worst wine pours. For $20 a glass, he should have been more generous. When asked about it, he became irritated.
