Savannah Spiced

I came in last weekend on a Saturday pretty late. It is a caribbean restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and it feels like made to order because it did take a long time for our food to be served. I also think they were short staffed so it took a while for someone to come over to take our order. I really liked the food and the drinks were really sweet which I love. The restaurant is imitate. I would visit again but at a earlier time. Also, be prepared to look for parking if you are driving.

Went to Savannah Spiced to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday the other day and had a great time. The food, the service and ambiance were really good (on a Monday night!)It wasn't super busy, but I believe the staff on hand are always attentive, pleasant and welcoming. The food is Trini-Guyanese inspired and delicious. My daughter and ex ordered the oxtail dinner, which they very much enjoyed. I had a little taste and very much enjoyed the flavors. The portion was good and filling. I ordered the Jab Jab pasta with shrimp and was very happy that it wasn't dry. The spice in the cream sauce was slight but good. I was very hungry, so I sadly did not have a to-go plate. To demonstrate the high level of attentiveness from the staff, we never announced that we were celebrating a birthday, but they came out with a slice of yummy cheesecake (and I don't like cheesecake) for my baby girl. I plan to visit when it's warmer, so I can enjoy the backyard space.

The vibez was vibing! The appetizer wings were fireeeere!!I had the chow mein with oxtail i literally wanted to hug the chef after! It was sooooo good! Their drinks are also 10/10. I had a dingolay! Perfect balance of alcohol and goodness it was The servers recommendation.

Lovely location in the neighborhood with strong great drinks to have along exquisite food. My go to is their wings ; you will not be disappointed. Staff is friendly giving us the energy to come back again. They get busy certain days which is lovely to see the community supporting.

This place was pretty cute walking in! They had walls of greenery that would have made for great photo opportunities, but the dark lighting didn't make the food pictures turn out the best. The food was phenomenal. We all basically inhaled it all. The oxtails were flavorful and fall off the bone tender. The service was subpar. It was difficult for the servers (we didn't have just one) to keep our water glasses full,we had to leave the table to ask for someone to grab our check for us etc. They were kind when I got up to ask for help,they just weren't attentive at all. After receiving the bill, I noticed that an 18% gratuity was added, which explains why they didn't give us the best service since they knew they would be getting a nice tip anyway. I thought this was a bit bizarre considering there were only 4 people in our party. Overall, amazing food, terrible service.

Food was really tasty, I enjoyed the jerk pork, it was well seasoned and very moist. Staff was super attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything we ordered. I would definitely go back!!!

Wow what an incredible hidden gem ! Everything was amazing from the drinks to the decor, even the music was a whole vibe.My friend and I got rum punch just different flavors? Super strong and tasty! We also shared the wings, caution spicy ! The oxtail tacos the pholouri and the Mac and cheese.I can not complain! Everything tasted as though it was made with love, true Island flavor and just all around delicious !

The decor is cute and the staff is very friendly. You can make reservations on Open Table. Parking may be difficult but this location is very accessible via public transportation.My friend and I both enjoyed our drinks. I had the Sorrel Colada and I appreciate that it came with an additional shot of rum. My friend had the Moko Jumbie drink and she really enjoyed it. It came in a really cute slanted glass.The appetizers were my favorite part. We ordered the Mango Chow and Oxtail Plantain cups. Both were absolutely delicious and I'd order them both again in a heartbeat. I found the entrees to be just okay. There was nothing wrong with them but they weren't spectacular to make me want to come back and order them again. I ordered the Calypso Shrimp with mashed potatoes. The shrimp were seasoned and the mashed potatoes were good. I just wish they came with a gravy or butter sauce since they were dry. I tried my friends jerk chicken meal and it was nicely seasoned. It's on the sweet side, so if you're looking for Jamaican Jerk chicken I'd skip this one. Overall I enjoyed myself and if I'm in the area again would happily stop by for drinks and apps!

The experience was good overall. The food was great, the service was great, too, and the ambiance was nice for a Saturday night. I'd go back if i'm looking for good quality Caribbean music with a Trini vibe.

First and foremost as a food critic in the state of New York I can say that I'm highly surprised with Savannah spiced their food , their staff I'm just speechless, their staff I can give a loud shout out too, service are amazing, highly recommended must pay a visit, their food is outta this world, made with love. Food and drink I can say very affordable. And every drink served is served with pure love!
