Do yourself a favor and just GO! Don't hesitate just go.We went for brunch and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and beautiful. We didn't have a reservation but I would recommend you book one if you can. To start:We skipped over traditional appetizers because of personal non over ordering goals so we went right for the ceaser salad and fries. -The ceaser salad is a MUST GET honestly such a great spin on traditional ceaser dressing. It has a nice tang to it and I love the extra crunch the bread crumbs give it. I'd get it every time.- The fries were so tasty we ended up ordering it again! It's not a must get but I highly recommend it if you love fries as much as us.Mains:- the Arrabbiata pasta was just.... Chefs kiss. They nailed it. It's perfect. I could have licked the plate. I would get this every time. - the hot honey chicken Milanese I think it was called is very good! I enjoyed it very much it was sweet and flavorful not too hot. I would get it again but not every time. We had the best server named Maddie, request her you won't regret it. Her recommendations were all hits in our book! She was kind enough to treat us to some lemon sorbet. Perfect way to end the meal.

3.5 stars. We secured a 5:30 reservation here last night. To start, the ambience was great. The restaurant is really big and filled up quick, but wasn't too loud where it was hard to have a conversation. As for the meal, we ordered the foccaccia, winter citrus salad, lasagna, and tagliatelle. Overall, the food was good. The foccaccia came with a delightful ricotta spread and the olives embedded in the bread were a nice touch. However, our loaf seemed unusually airy for a foccaccia. The salad could have benefitted from more lettuce, but I loved the balance of sweet and more bitter flavors from the citrus slices and the endives. The pastas were good, but got cold really fast. Despite this, the tagliatelle was the favorite dish of the night: it was perfectly creamy and buttery and the crab was cooked really well. The lasagna, although a crowd favorite, did not stand out to us. There was too much of that truffle cream sauce, so it was hard to taste the flavors within the lasagna itself. We did not try any of the desserts because none of them piqued our interest. In conclusion, Sartiano's a nice spot for a reliable Italian meal. However, if you're looking for something more impressive or price is a consideration, I would not recommend dining here.

Really loved Sartiano's, not sure why it took me so long to get here. Everything from entering the restaurant to the food, drinks, ambiance, and service were fantastic. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered - no misses or regrets. Our server was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us make decisions. There were for our us and we ordered the Caviar Cannoli, Crudo, Meatballs, Steak Tartare, Clams, Focaccia, Lasagna, Doppio, Caesar, the 10oz Waygu Zabuton, the 12oz NY Striploin, and 3 desserts. Note: I am not one to order meatballs out because 9/10 times they do not compete with homemade ones, but my goodness these were amazing.I would highly recommend Sartiano's for anyone looking for a really great meal in a beautiful restaurant. It's perfect for dates or group dinners so you can try a bunch of the menu.

The restaurant offers great dishes, but there's a noticeable overuse of breadcrumbs across multiple plates, which makes some flavors feel repetitive. * Caesar Salad (3/5): Good, but overwhelmed by too many breadcrumbs. * Meatball (5/5): Perfectly done--flavorful and well-executed. * Fusilli (4/5): Great flavor, but again, way too many breadcrumbs. * Doppio (2/5): Just didn't taste good to me. * Dover Sole (4/5): Well-prepared and enjoyable.Overall, while the food is solid, nothing stood out enough to make me crave a return visit anytime soon. That said, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service is excellent.

We walked in without a reservation after doing some shopping in SoHo and was able to snag a seat at the bar. The ambiance is beautiful and the staff is very professional and friendly. Cesar salad: 10/10. The little gem lettuce was fresh and really elevated the classic salad. The fresh Parmesan was soft yet flavorful. Spaghetti with crab: 9/10. Not like your traditional spaghetti but it was packed with flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly!

Great food, great drinks, great vibes. Service was excellent. The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed with the perfect amount of dressing, cheese, and croutons. The fingerling potatoes - with a side of truffle topped mayo. The chai espresso martini was delicious- not too strong on the chai. I've had the pacherri on another occasion which was also very good. I'll definitely be back!

What a shame for such a beautiful place to be so mediocre at best. I have to give credit to the designer, but from that point it went down hill, we had drinks at the bar, I hate when restaurants overcharge for drinks and serve children size drinks. Serving a martini only 80 percent full is a pet peeve for me. Wine by the glass is 24 or 25 per glass, for a mediocre wine. Now to the food. For the apps we had the Caesar salad, yellowtail Crudo, meatballs and focaccia bread. The apps were the best part of the dinner in order were. 1 was the bread, 2 yellowtail, 3 Caesar salad, the meatballs. All pretty good , certainly not great. The meatballs were very underwhelming, too much cream and garlic Have had a lot better Italian food at CB places 1/2 the price. We had the scallops, bucatini and Camarillo. All have same issue too drowning in cream and butter. Literally my stomach is aching. There was one highlight. It was my son's birthday and we ordered the tiramisu. It came with a candle, so thank you. The dessert was delicious. I just don't get it $30 for some Cavatelli with some sausage, very little sausage and pasta, too much sauce too much garlic. The bucatini is ridiculous 50 for a mediocre at best pasta. As for the scallops , way too much sauce , butter and cream. You drowned out the scallops

Food was excellent. Ambiance is great. But service was horrible. Carol, our server, was trying to rush us all night. We were a party of five and yet she was pacing the food and the courses so that we would be gone in literally one hour. I had to keep asking her to slow down but she refused to listen. The irony is that the restaurant had other empty tables but she wanted to make sure this table turned over for her and she was determined to make it happen. For the money we were spending, we deserved better service.
