Sappe is a really great spot all around...I highly recommend it. First, the food is really good, very creative, and perfectly spiced and seasoned. Second, prices are quite reasonable for what you get. Third the restaurant is very cute and is usually buzzing with a great crowd. Yes it's large, and can be noisy, but the energy is flowing and it's a great vibe inside. Fourth, they do have a few really good specialty cocktails. I want to give a special shout out to the hostess Jean. She is very talented at handling large crowds with grace and charm. She is one of the best hosts / hostesses in the city that I've dealt with. Very pleasant. Thank you for all you do Jean.Overall, if you want fun atmosphere and great food Sappe is a great choice.

I'm normally not a huge fan of Thai food, but I like Sappe specifically because their menu is pretty protein-forward.On my most recent visit, we ordered:Fried enoki mushroom- loved this. Very generous portion size, nice and crispy.Sappe Ribs- full rack of tender ribs in a sweet sauce. Nothing super special, but well-executed, good portion, and a crowd-pleaser.Assorted skewers- meh, could've done without. Not offensive, but I'm a much bigger fan of Chinese-style meat skewers.Steak in curry sauce (forgot the actual name of the dish)- perfectly cooked steak in a yummy curry.I'm sad that they took their spicy and sour pork rib soup off the menu :( It was probably their best dishIt's always pretty packed, so definitely try to book a reservation!

For the 4 of us, we ordered the following dishes. It was a lot of food specifically protein.- 12 Skewers - We got the first 2 rows which consisted of grilled marinated pork, pork belly, chicken, chicken liver, chicken hearts and chicken wings. The best ones were the pork and pork belly. - Sappe Ribs - The meat literally fell off the bones with almost no effort. It was so tender and perfectly marinated.- Crying Tiger - The steak was medium rare and came with spicy Jaew sauce. The beef was tough and hard to chew.- Tom Yum Tiger Prawn Hotpot - The broth was creamy with hints of coconut, tangy, sour and spicy. There was plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. This was my favorite dish.- Mama E-La - The noodles were tasty but on the sweeter side.- E-Tim - The whiskey based cocktail was delicious and I loved the presentation with onion, lemongrass and pepper on top.Our server, Amy, gave great recommendations on the dishes! She was attentive and very sweet. The restaurant itself with spacious with an old school vibe. I would recommend coming here with a group so you can do family style and try multiple dishes.

Such a fun, trendy Thai spot with good vibes and shareable dishes. The Somsri frozen marg was hands-down the highlight--so refreshing, perfectly tart, and that spicy plum powder rim? Delish. The food was packed with flavor, and the whole place just has this cool, hip energy. Definitely a spot I'd hit up again.

If you need a lit birthday dinner spot with incredible food, look no further than Sappe!!! Our group of 5 had a blast here last night! The energy of the restaurant is amazing with loud music, but not loud enough where you can't hear each other. The cocktails and food are outstanding. We started with the meat skewers that were spicy, tender, flavorful, all around wonderful. You HAVE to get their keerati cocktail. It has a layer of foam from the egg white so it's the perfectly and sweet and creamy flavor profile AND then blow a bubble on top for you that makes for a fun twist. Oh they're strong! I felt tipsy after one If you look steak, you have to get the green curry grilled steak with pineapple. WOW absolutely incredible combo with the spicy steak and sweet pineapple. I'm still thinking about it a day later. The rest of our group loved the food. Do NOT skip out on dessert either. We can't wait to come back!!

Sappe is lively restaurant perfect for a fun night out with friends. The crowd was young, I probably wouldn't bring my family here. Think dark and moody with bright neon signs. I recommend ordering family style and sharing!Docking a star because I felt so rushed, every party only gets 90 mins to dine in. Servers kept coming by my table constantly and clearing plates that still had food on them. Their cocktails are super unique, I really enjoyed the frozen guava one and it was tangy, sweet & I could barely taste the alcohol. KHAO SOI (4/5)Curry was super flavorful and fragrant with a coconut cream taste, but I found that it was a bit too sweet. The chicken was tender and moist.TOM YUM (4/5)The soup was super tangy and sour, which is great if you like very acidic soup. The lowest spice level is medium, they can't make it mild!CRYING TIGER (5/5)Ordered this medium rare & it was definitely more on the medium side (which I actually prefer). Each bite was super tender with a nice smokey flavor. It pairs well with the spicy dipping sauce. SHRIMP FRIED RICE (5/5)Delicious well seasoned rice with umami, savoriness & also a hint of sweetness. The prawns were massive and plump!MAMA E-LA NOODLES (4/5)The smokey sweet and salty flavor is addicting! The beef slices were super tender and smokey but were too salty. This dish overall is super yummy but just too salty. The beef would go well with a side of white rice.

OVERATTENTIVENESS is the key word here - imagine trying to eat but getting interrupted every 4-5 min, it's overbearing. The food is really so decent but the constant hovering is overbearing and dampens the experience so much. Again I visited with my friend because I knew he would like the wings, ($15 for 7 wings) which were definitely a hit along with the crying Tiger beef ($18) and pork jowl ($17). We got these with a side of the seasonal fresh veggies ($6) because we wanted a veggie but options were not really available. It ended up great for wraps. The misses were honestly big - the fried enoki mushroom ($15) just tastes of batter lol and the thick sweet chili sauce doesn't help at all. I've tried this at another Thai place as well and can just chalk it up to not being for me. The seasonal Khao Poon ($25) is a wheat noodle with fish curry, and fish roe which is NOT clear because you get it and you're sort of like what is that. It's not spicy at all like they say and there's too much texture and not enough flavor relative to all the other dishes considering it came out last. I'm sad I didn't get the mama e-la noodle I liked last times. The food is good but the experience is just off for me - the host let a large group ahead of us be seated before us even though we arrived as a complete party first. She kept telling me we had an hour and a half for the table like 3x even though we were just 2 people and there was no indication that we would be running over time. They left us in the middle of this pathway halfway into seating us because the table wasn't actually ready. They default tip to 20/25/30% on the hand held payment - this always rubs me the wrong way. Don't get me started on how confusing the bathroom situation can be.I much prefer Soothr the sister restaurant or elsewhere - I think 2 misses is enough for a place!

Starting off with the highlights, the service was incredible and the food was delicious. The server advised us towards the seared ribs and oh my they were incredibly tasty and fall off the bone. There was a pasta dish with morning glory (vegetable) that was also incredibly tasty as well. The atmosphere was pretty cool, but the typical groups we saw were the parties of 10+ that were all screaming to each other making the room incredibly noisy and hard to talk with my friends. The drinks were very unique, although the taste profiles weren't generally my preference. All in all a solid meal

Been here twice now, for lunch and dinner; both instances were highly enjoyable and I would highly recommend this restaurant. My favorite dish out of everything was the Yum Pu Dong, which is a spicy marinated raw crab. Oh man the extreme amounts of flavor! Coupled with the juicy crab meat, I couldn't stop thinking about it for quite a while. Some of the other Thai cuisine staples were also on point, such as the Khao soi gai, or various grilled meat dishes.Another wonderful aspect of the restaurant is that it is very spacious, so getting a reservation for a large party should be easy. Service was also courteous and timely.
