Santi is open for lunch! Two courses for $59 & 3 for $72 and well worth it. The snapper was gorgeous but could've been a tad more citrusy. The warm kale/ shrimp was delicious as was dessert. This was top tier and a deal & I'm sure the pastas are top notch as well.

Had a weekend dinner reservation for 2 people. If you like seafood and pasta, then this place is definitely worth checking out. Ambiance / Service: ambiance feels elevated - dark wood paneling, bright lighting. Restaurant also was quite lively (not a party spot though). There's a front bar area, upstairs & downstairs, as well as a private dining room. Would be good for date night, bday celebrations, or business dinners. Service was good - they brought us the wrong entree & let us keep it to try, which was nice. Food: loved the free little treats, definitely added to the experience. Ordered the below for 2 people (it was a lot lol). We enjoyed everything and would order it all over again. Una pasta estremamente deliziosa! If this is wrong, my knowledge of Pasta is as limited as the Italian I just wrote! But what I do understand is good food and Santi does a phenomenal job at doing just that.The best pasta I've ever had. No No, the best Vegetarian pasta I've ever had!Our order consisted of Dentice ($34), Zuppa ($29), Busiate ($39), Orecchiette ($39), and a special order for our little one, Garganelli with butter and parmesan cheese. Food was top notch and we had a very upscale experience at Santi. It was my first time trying Busiate which was made to perfection and was the best dish on our table.Our entire experience was amazing starting from a very friendly hostess who welcomed us, gave us a very comfortable cozy, corner seating after looking at our little one, and our hosts/servers Brian and Paola who were very attentive and super friendly.Their homemade focaccia bread, butter, and olive oil were super delicious!A very positive experience overall and we will definitely visit again. Highly recommend reservations. A perfect place for date night or with family. They are very kid friendly too. Noise levels were surprisingly on the lower end on a Thursday evening and they have an amazing bar setup if you are into cocktails.

Walked in on a Christmas Eve. With Chef Michael White at the helm, the elegant and classy atmosphere was perfect for a cozy date night.The service was fantastic--our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We kicked off our meal with appetizers, which were the highlight! The scallops and shrimp dish were amazing.The entrées were good but didn't wow me as much as I expected. On the bright side, the cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented--definitely cute enough for a photo!Overall, this new spot is a great choice for a semi-formal night out. With its lovely ambiance and delicious appetizers, I'd happily return to explore more of the menu!

Confession -- I have been a Michael White fan since his Fiamma Osteria days, so it should be no surprise that I was delighted to hear that he was coming back to the City and in his old Alto space no less. Santi is every bit as good, actually better, than Alto. It is elegant and refined without being stuffy. The food is amazing and the service is stellar. Be ready for a great meal when you go to Santi, if you can actually get a reservation.

The service was lovely. The place is modern and hip. However, the Uni Crab Pasta had one barely visible piece of Crab and ZERO Uni flavor. And the Veal Chop was HAMMERED and tasted like an old Cast Iron Skillet. And the "filtered water" tasted like Chemicals. And all so very overpriced... Hoping they can turn things around but we won't be returning to this one.

Being welcomed into such a warmly lit and cozy restaurant on a blustery winter evening was beyond comforting. Each item we ordered was of the finest quality product and many included innovative ingredients. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was impeccable.By far the best part for me was Santi's seamless accommodation of my food intolerances to both dairy and gluten. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about each element of every dish on the menu, steered me to the ones best suited to my dietary restrictions, and even had the chef reconfigure one dish so I could enjoy it. I was amazed that a freshly baked gluten-free bread was served. And Santi is the only restaurant in New York where I not only was able to enjoy a dessert on the menu (other than sorbet) but there were two choices of dairy-free and gluten-free desserts - meringue and rice pudding made with oat milk! An incredible evening!

This restaurant needs a lot of help. The entrance was very difficult to find, the coat check area was overloaded. The seating was much too tight and uncomfortable. The ambiance was more of business feel than a fine dining experience. The food was good not great, some dishes were very salty.

Santi did not disappoint. Food was delicious. Pasta was perfectly Aldente. Everything from the bread, crudos to the amazing salad was excellent. They also have a robust dessert menu. Go for the Pistachio tart. It was spectacular as well as the rice pudding.Neal our server was on point. He was the best. Go! Don't wait!
