Stopped by with a friend and we both enjoyed our meals! My friend opted for the corn, rice, and chicken soup, while I chose the curry fish with pumpkin rice and cabbage. The dish was flavorful, but I was surprised to find that plantains were an extra cost. Price was $14.67. It seems like the economic climate is affecting the food industry, with smaller portions and à la carte side dishes becoming the new norm. Despite this, I'll be back for more! The lady who attended to me was nice.

Finally found a place that sells beef patties. I have been looking for a place that sells beef patties, I know pizza places sell them but those never seem to taste the way I remember when I was a child in Jamaica. I've purchased from Golden Crust which of recent had not had any or Fisherman Cove. This place had a good flavoring and nice crust. I really liked how the coco bread was doughy and soft. Service is customary fora Jamaican fast food establishment so just be patient. Ambience is not much and to be desired. They have a vaảiety of other staples in their menu which I'll try upon my return when I'm in my work office in the area.

Just made it in time for their lunch special. They had to ask the back if there were anymore. They were a bit busy with people sitting in the dining area. Also, this resturant has a small entrance and on the side street so it might be hard to find. Got the curry goat which was pretty good. And of course, got the sorrel with ginger and it sure hit the spot. Will try something else next time during lunch time.

Jamaican joint in Brooklyn. Storefront hard to spot, i walked by once before i turned around and had to take a closer look before i realized that was the spot. The inside has some seats but not much so most people probably just do the take out. I ordered the oxtail meal which came with rice and plantains. The oxtails were tender and tasty. The rice was just okay. But the plantains were no good. Maybe its just cooked different than what i've had at other places but i definitely did not like them. While i was waiting for my food, i did hear two other patrons order the curry king fish so i gotta try that out and then reassess my rating of this place.

- great friday lunch jerk pork special i believe it starts at 11, dont quote me on that- get there early, there will be a long line- it runs out, esp in nice weather- i had the wherewithal to preorder mine even with that, there was a fight for the last one

The food was impeccable, flawless even. Would totally recommend the jersey chicken. Absolutely great service and we got our food on time. Without having to wait too long. The vibes 2e were getting was amazing and I LOVED THE FOOD. Again absolutely recommend.

I've passed this restaurant numerous times and had a chance to finally try it on my lunch break . They have a week day lunch special where I only paid $8 for a small Curry Chicken with rice and peas. For starters the rice was extremely sweet and watery but I assumed it was because of the cabbage. I ate one piece of chicken before I noticed the rest of my chicken was not fully cooked through and bleeding pink. My job location was a long walk so I didn't not go back inside and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
