Exceptional food in the Four Points hotel. Beautiful Branzino and other fish. Generous wine pours. You can have delivered to your hotel room and put on hotel tab.

I have to admit, the branding and web presence didn't make it immediately obvious that this was a hotel restaurant. The interior is very much that of a hotel restaurant designed 10-15 years ago. Not bad and you get warm bread but at these prices San Marino isn't going on any shortlist. The menu is expansive and I ordered two of the specials. The cacio e pepe was prepared well--very little slop/sauce but pasta too noodle-y. I appreciated the large portion until I got the bill that listed it at $30. Thirty bucks for cheese and pepper.I also ordered the sea bass special. It was a nice chunk of fish for $45 though the preparation was a bit old school. Nothing to write home about, but a nice piece of fish cooked properly. In a pinch, sure, but not worth the superlatives. $30 for plain pasta is madness.

The food overall is tasty. Breakfast is a little in regard to the time you place your order until it lands on the table. Breakfast is also a little pricey. I ordered dinner to go one night, I didn't dislike it, but im positive it would have been better to just sit and eat it in the restaurant. Lots of cool old photos around, music selection could probably be more neutral, and If it were my place, Id get rid of the tvs in the dining room. its distracting and i think takes away from the vibe.

Went to this restaurant as it's in our hotel and we were unfortunately very disappointed. The Chicken Marsala and Parmesan was so overdone and rubbery that it was barely edible. The Happy Hour prices ($12 for a 6 oz glass of wine) also weren't the level of deal we were hoping for -- and pretty low quality. The service was fine, but slightly scattered. For $100 total, we were disappointed. I'd highly recommend another one of the many restaurants nearby.

Came here for the cheese wheel pasta. Overall, all the pastas were cooked pretty decently - they weren't over cooked or too Al dente. The sauces were good too!! The cheese wheel pasta was a little bland imo.

San Marino Ristorante...thanks for stumbling into my life!My husband and I were wandering around the South Village and were craving Italian food. We hopped onto Yelp to look up places near by and I am very glad that we did.We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by someone at the host stand who immediately brought us to our table; we really loved the old school ambiance of the place. We started our meal with the burrata which tasted fresh and was the perfect appetizer to kick things off. For our main dishes I had the Cacio e Pepe, and hands down it was the best I've ever had and the presentation when served was fantastic (they use a huge wheel of parmigiana to mix the pasta). My husband had the carbonara and he loved the egg yolk and smoked pancetta - it really hit the spot. We ended our meal with tiramisu and it was one of the worst I have ever had. I say this because it was covered in cinnamon on the top and no cocoa powder. We also had the vanilla gelato which was very good. I would definitely recommend stopping by San Marino Ristorante if you are in the area as you will not be disappointed.Looking forward to dinning here again in the future.

Service: 5/5Food: 4/5Ambiance: casual dining you can make fancy, suitable for a girls' night or a dinner dateI recommend sitting on the outdoor patio, probably regardless of weather conditions, as it's covered and heated. The waitstaff was incredibly patient and attentive. We had a slight miscommunication with our order/the bill, but it got settled quickly and painlessly. The bathroom situation is a little out of place as it's in the basement of the adjoining apartment building.Entrees on the menu favor chicken and veal options, but you can't go wrong with any of the pasta dishes. My dining party chose three different ones, and all were delicious. Not to mention they were all reasonably priced, and the perfect portion sizes to quell your hunger but not make you feel overstuffed. What We Ordered:Linguini alle Vongole- fresh clams and full of flavorLa Carbonara- so perfectly creamyPappardelle con Funghi- a solid recommendation by the waitstaff

This place is phenomenal!!! You cannot come to NY without visiting this fabulous restaurant. I am Italian, I would know. Their food is out of this world, their deserts are to die for and their proprietary Sambuca is something you will never forget. I am serious, this is a must!!! The service is also tremendous.

This is an Italian gem tucked away in SoHo. My husband and I had a lovely patio dinner.Highly recommend the Burrata, the Parpadelle and the Bolognaise! Wait staff was attentive and we did not feel rushed to finish each course! Great experience after a long day of travel.
