Service was superThe food was outstanding! I am already thinking about when to go back !The chicken spicy dumplings as an app were out of this world.

This place was on my friend's list, and we happened to walk by it on a Saturday during lunchtime, so we popped in to see if they had any availability. Thankfully, the place was pretty empty so the four of us were able to be seated immediately. We ordered the imperial rolls, banh khot, lotus root salad, peashoots, the oxtail fried rice, and the garlic noodles. It was a lot of food, but we finished everything because it was so delicious!In terms of appetizers, I would definitely order the imperial rolls again. I think the banh khot were just ok, but I'm happy I tried it. The lotus root salad really surprised me. It was so flavorful and fresh! I don't really like lotus root, but there were only a couple of fried pieces on top. I was most excited for the oxtail fried rice because this is supposed to be one of their most popular dishes. It was kind of a letdown, but I think that's just because everything else was so good. The fried rice was good too, but definitely not anything special. Overall, this was such a satisfying meal, and I think it showcased the vietnamese flavors so well!

We were looking for viable brunch options in the area and this place was wide open with minimal customers. Their menu is a bit smaller and pricier than other Vietnamese restaurants, but I was happy with all the dishes we picked.1) Banh Xeo ($20): this was large, hence the price. It was perfectly crispy and probably my favorite dish.2) Saigon Sisig ($24): definitely a heavier dish but it was exactly what we were looking for. It was paired with a sweeter shrimp paste that cut through the saltiness of the rest of the dish3) Black Pepper Steak ($34): I'll be honest, I didn't think this dish was worth the price point. The meat was fine but nothing mind-blowing, and the dish overall wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped.I was decently full after splitting everything with another person, so no worries on portion sizes!

This is one of the best beef pho soups I've had in the city. They don't give hoisin sauce or anything in traditional Vietnamese restaurants but that's totally okay because the beef broth was so flavorful it stood on its own. The meat was also tender and not dry which I liked. The noodles are thicker than what I've gotten in other pho soups but they work. It's a big portion and it's def big enough to share. The staff was also very friendly. Perfect for winter!

Service overall was good and the ambience is more relaxed, but note that the bathroom is down a set of very narrow stairs.We ordered the imperial rolls, grilled lemongrass ribs, saigon sisig, and the garlic noodles. The rolls' dipping sauce was very good and the outside of the roll was crispy, but the flavor of the meat inside did not shine through for me through the mushroom and noodles. The ribs had a good flavor, but not tender enough. The sisig was tender, but the flavors were not strong enough. I liked the garlic noodles; the garlic flavor is basically the only thing you get, and the roe added a crunchy texture, which I enjoyed.I'm not sure I would come back as I felt the price was not worth the food / experience, but it was good to try.

This was alright, it was good but I wouldn't be itching to come back soon.The sisig was pretty good, the imperial rolls were yummy, and the ribs are decent flavor/tenderness. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the garlic noodles.Quick service and nice ambiance.

Low key joint for Vietnamese food in LES. Loved everything about my experience. The place itself was cozy and warm with communal style and open kitchen dining. The staff were super friendly and nice. We ordered the chicken curry and the short rib banh mi burger and it was perfect for a winter night.

Tried this place out for dinner with friends, it was ok. It's hard to find good Vietnamese food in NYC. We sat outside and it was nice, but inside the ambience it's also pretty chill. I wanted to stop by again to grab some Vietnamese coffee but it was closed down on a random Tuesday at 5pm, weird. I wouldn't come back, but I am glad I gave it a go.

The food was ok but portions was extremely small for the price they were charging us. I felt like they were more Thai than Vietnamese.

I was in town visiting for work and staying in a nearby hotel when I needed to figure out dinner plans. It was 29º outside with gnarly wind gusts, and I was searching yelp for what was nearby and luckily Saigon Social was around the block. A quick search of their menu and I saw that soup and noodle options were available and nothing sounded like a better option at that point. When I showed up, I noticed a bustling little restaurant, and even without a reservation I was able to get a counter seat, situated right in front of the chefs... I love a show with my dinner. The soup special of the day was thankfully Beef Pho, which is what I ordered... when it came out, it was piping hot, fragrant, and on first sip full of flavor. As a big guy, I generally don't take the time to savor food, but I sipped each spoonful as I was savoring each drop. The meat was tender, a mix of brisket and filet mignon. I must have attracted the attention of the chef, as she asked if I wanted more broth, and without hesitation I said accepted with a huge smile on my face. I will definitely be back to enjoy this pho again and sample some of their other items as well.
