I came here again on a Thursday night around 7pm. It wasn't that busy and my friend and I were able to get a table easily,We shared the Mac & cheese bites and the Devil pie. The Mac & cheese bites were served with a really good spicy/tangy sauce. Not sure what was in it, but it was delicious! The pizza was good, as expected.

Rosie's Pizza Bar in Bushwick didn't quite work for me, but I can see why some might appreciate its particular style. Personally, I'm not a fan of cheeses with a nutty undertone, which seems to be their thing. I tend to prefer a more buttery, mellow cheese that complements the sauce and toppings, absorbing and blending flavors rather than overpowering them. Rosie's cheese, while undoubtedly rich in flavor, was sharp and assertive to the point where it clashed with my expectations of a classic slice. The crust was another sticking point for me. It was crispy--pan-fried, as advertised--but had this dense, chewy quality that reminded me of a soft pretzel, which threw me off. It lacked the airy crunch I usually associate with a good pan-fried pizza. Instead, it felt like biting into something that was trying to be two things at once but couldn't quite commit.I ordered two cheese slices and their slice of the day--a burrata pizza. The cheese slices didn't impress, and the burrata slice felt overcomplicated, with spinach haphazardly thrown on top and cheese that acted more like a thick adhesive than a creamy complement. I kept thinking how much I prefer pizza with toppings that work harmoniously, like jalapeños or buffalo chicken, where the richness of the cheese balances the tang and heat of the sauces. At Rosie's, the balance felt off.To be fair, the delivery through the Slice app was quick, and the pizza arrived in decent condition considering the distance to my Bed-Stuy address near Broadway and Gates. Again, I ordered via Slice, but glancing at the pizzeria, Rosie's establishment appears to be clean, inviting, and inclusive. I can't help but feel that dining in would offer a better experience than delivery. Perhaps the atmosphere and freshness of a straight-from-the-oven slice could change my perspective. But even fresh, I don't think these slices would've won me over. The flavors and textures just didn't align with what I enjoy in a slice. That said, I wouldn't completely rule out returning. Maybe if I'm in the area, or if someone invites me back, I'll give it another shot. Perhaps I wasn't in the right frame of mind to appreciate it fully. For now, though, it's just not for me.

Avoid this place. It's WAY too expensive to be this inconsistent. We've ordered from here twice. The first time because they have ground beef as a topping which most places in NYC do not. We ordered a pizza and the apparently epic fries and a side of ranch. After over an hour, the pizza arrive and was surprisingly OK. While the beef was not seasoned and had no flavor, the pizza otherwise was decent. It reminded us of pizza from the south and Midwest where we are from. They forgot the ranch and the fries were possibly as good as people described them but they forgot the $3 side of ranch. Tonight we gave them a second chance. Knowing that we didn't like the beef we just stuck to the toppings we liked from the last time which were shiitake mushrooms and pepperoni. The pizza again arrived an hour later but this time was completely inedible. The pizza this time was cold and congealed. The quality was completely subpar compared to our previous experience. This was not the same cheese and was low quality badly tasting cheese. The mushrooms were old and undercooked and could not be chewed thru. The crust tasted old and stale as if it had been precooked and sitting around. The truffle fires were not that same at all and had a chopped up vegetable on top and have clearly been made hours in advance and were sitting around. They were so hard that you could not bite thru them. They did however remember the ranch that I paid for last time and they forgot. I guess this ranch was $6.It's unfortunate that they are so inconsistent. With unusually late hours, they had the potential to be a late night go to. However, with tonight's 9pm order costing me $40 for medium sized pizza and fries that ended up in the trash, this will absolutely be our last order from this establishment.

My date surprised me with this bushwick gem and boy was I pleased. Walked in on a karaoke night which was cool and in full swing. The pizza here was so fresh and delicious. They have a 10 inch and 14 inch pan pizzas the service was fast and pleasant. Full bar, great beer options. The wall decor was so cool they had pac man on the wall to the restroom and just cool and funky art on the walls I enjoyed it. I'll definitely be coming back here.

I ordered for delivery, and the pizza and Mac and cheese balls did not disappoint! The food was delicious and full of flavor. They didn't hold back on spice either with the special sauce that came with the Mac and cheese. The pizza was made and delivered quickly. I've walked past the restaurant, and it looks like a fun vibe too. It's definitely a must try place!

This is some of the most consistently good pizza in Brooklyn. They almost always have a deal on Uber eats and the food is quick to arrive and really fresh. I've eaten in here a couple times now and even attended one of their trivia nights. It is a smaller bar, but the vibe is nice and the staff is always really friendly. Def recommend their hot honey pizza.

I came here after some late night bar hopping, and it was the perfect way to end the night. We were able to order at the front immediately after deciding our orders, and there wasn't too long of a wait for the pizzas. I ordered the 10" Fancy pizza, and the burrata perfectly complemented the sauce and chewy yet crispy dough. This pizza was so good, I ate it again a few days later.

The pizza is overpriced for what is essentially middle school cafeteria-quality pizza. It's embarrassing that this is from Brooklyn!

Small place, but feels roomy. There are a few tables or you can sit at the bar. Wasn't crowded when we went on a Friday night. They had some good music playing, tasty drinks & the pizza was great! Also got some fries.
