Beautifully decorated restaurant that is usually very busy and loud. We made reservations in advance and would highly recommend doing so. The table has focaccia bread to start with and really enjoyed it. For dinner, I had the meatballs which were a generous portion and were delicious. The rest of the table all enjoyed their meals as well.Unfortunately, I guess our reservation was during a shift change, so after we got our initial drinks, it was a while until another server finally came to take our order. This soured the experience a little bit.

Came here for dinner and was glad we had a reservation because it was pretty packed. The calamari fritti was okay, not as crispy and not as many as I would've liked. The dipping sauce was interesting. The chicken stracciatella was good and light. I liked that there were veggies in it. The olive oil cake was good and the blueberries and whipped cream took it to the next level. Service was good and attentive despite being so busy. Only qualm would be that some things seemed to be salted a little too much and that the tables are too close together. Everyone was shouting to hear one another :)

I've only been here for a quick drink at the bar during Happy Hour but this places looks super cute! Prices align with the West Village norm but inside feels like a Hamptons cafe, very light and quite pretty, you can tell this place has a women's touch. Was extremely busy when I stopped by so I would recommend getting a reservation if you want to come for a meal. HH wine options were decent, I loved that they were nice enough to let me try two before picking one as the options were new to me. Went with a glass of Soave.

Rosemary's West Village! My friend and I were craving something warm, somewhere cozy to protect us from this crazy weather, and something delicious! We found rosemary's and decided to pop in. The staff are all really friendly and the restaurant is way more spacious than I thought. We ordered the calamari and the beet salad to start. Both were really good and I really enjoyed the sauce that was drizzled on the salad. For our mains we ordered the Orecchiette (recommended by the staff) and the Rigatoni Alla Arrabiatta. The Orecchiette was good, but not my vibe. It wasn't super creamy and way meat heavy, which works for some people, but I now know when I want italian I prefer something cheesy and creamy. However, both dishes were enjoyable and filling! In the month of feb you can win a trip to italy! So they handed out these scratchers! So I thought that was fun!

I made a reservation ahead of time. When in New York, a reservation is always a good idea. The hostess told us to sit at the bar since we arrived early. The restaurant was recommended by a few online sources. It was listed as a must-visit on the holiday festive-themed places. After taking our seats and ordering, the tables were too close and the vibe was not intimate. It was stuffy and cramped but the decor was on point. We ordered the Caprese focaccia and salads. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side. The bread was a bit dry and not like the foccacia I've had before. It seemed like it needed a bit moreOlive oil to give it a bit more moisture. I'm not sure what was going on with it. That wasn't the biggest issue. The main issue was the chopped salad salad. The dressing didn't dress the salad in a good way. The flavors were not complimenting each other. All in all, I would return to Rosemary's on a night when it's not as busy to give it another try (maybe). I left leaving a full salad that was pretty much inedible.

Really good brunch items on the menu which are reasonably priced. If you're looking for a good boozy brunch deal then this is the spot! $25 for unlimited drinks an hour as long as you purchase any pasta or brunch menu. We got the lemon marscapone pancakes which were so fluffy and filling. The rigatoni pasta was super tasty, flavorful and had the perfect ratio of pasta and sauce.

Service from the hostess to the servers are very attentive. This West Village location gets quite busy with both walk-in requests and reservations (highly suggested). Do get there early or don't be picky with what's available. There's available seating both indoors and outdoors (covered and semi closed), so the dining room is very spacious. However, the tables and seating are very cozy. Packed a little too tight for my liking. It was a little space between us and the table next to us. Even the bar area fills up quickly. The menu offers farm to table options, small plates, classic pasta dishes and fuller protein entrees too. This visit we had the Rosemary's Focaccia to start (nice herb finish), Kale celery caesar salad (anchovies on the side as requested), the fried calamari (recommend), Gemelli pesto pasta and the guancale pecorino pasta (Chitarra carbonara, creamy and delicious). And while I was getting really full, I couldn't resist ordering the affogato for dessert. (I was celebrating my birthday early so I just wanted to get something sweet to finish my meal). It was a good dining experience, just the seating was too tight. Bathrooms are downstairs, one flight down, in case you have mobility issues.

What a special spot.Made reservations and glad we did. The place was packed on a weeknight. Cozy ambiance and the staff was so friendly. The food did not disappoint- some of the best brussel sprouts and burrata I've ever had. The octopus was delicious as well and we grabbed the tagliatelle bolognese to share. Oh and those Rosemary's Martinis - YUM. Putting this on the list of places to come back to.

Mid experience. Had the whipped burrata (delicious), rosemary focaccia (meh), steak (meh.. needed to ask for table salt for more flavor), tagliatelle bolognese (YUM!! would come back for this), chocolate cake (yummy but nothing to write home about). The service was fine, bare minimum.

Rosemary's takes me back to when I was in Italy. I love the moody lighting, music, and menu options. There were some menu changes when I went, so be open to other choices too. The espresso martini, carbonara, rosemary focaccia, harvest salad, and whipped burrata were incredible! I wish the bacon on the carbonara was a little less fatty, but tasted better than a restaurant in Italy. The service was good overall. The food came out relatively quick and every person we encountered was kind. It can get expensive with everything added up. I would recommend stopping in and giving a little piece back to Italy!
