The restaurant is located inside the sheraton hotel. The entrance of the restaurant has a great backdrop decor. Restaurant looks clean and modern. The person working at the front for the takeout orders was friendly and nice. Was willing to explain the menu as well. They had lunch specials and dim sum. They also have cantonese entree dishes and noodles. The lunch special was filling. I ordered the braised fillet and it also comes with the fried tofu. The rice is in a container on the side which helps prevent the sauce from making it soggy. If you're ordering dim sum, it's best to call ahead because it takes additional time for it to steam.

So happy that there is now an authentic Chinese restaurant serving delicious Cantonese food in Downtown Brooklyn! My wife and I came here for dinner and got their crispy chicken skin on fried shrimp paste, fish fillet with tofu and veggies casserole, and their beef stir fry with their own special noodles that they make themselves and it tastes soooooo goooood. If there's one thing you must order, it is this beef stir fry dish. They are located inside the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Brooklyn on the lobby level. The entryway is decorated with roses and flowers, very fitting of the restaurant's name!Billy, who was taking care of our orders, was very attentive and recommended the beef stir fry noodles dish which turned out to be our favorite dish of the meal!Highly recommend checking this place out. They also serve dim sum too in the mornings but we did not try that yet

Okay let's start with the bartender Stefan. He was interested in what i wanted and how I wanted it. The martini was perfect. Now for the food, I ordered the soup dumplings, great with black vinegar sauce. Then their signature noodles that they make in house, the Chen Cun Fun. I had the beef and it was fantastic. Both Billy and Michael were attentive and knowledgeable and invested in me having a great meal. It's in the back of the Sheraton hotel lobby, but not part of the hotel. I still watched them answer questions and assist customers of the hotel even when they weren't customers of the restaurant. What a great group of people. All that and simply great food. Well, there you are...this is not a "here's your pot of weak tea, duck sauce and wonton noodle chips" place, it's the real deal

Nice find inside the Sheraton Hotel ... lunch specials were good and came quickly but be water if you're ordering dim sum --- it will be a wait - so id stick to the lunch specials though i've only tried the salt n pepper pork chops over rice - nice size portion! and the salt n pepper shrimp(beware ! they come with the shrimp heads still on) Nevertheless, still very tasty.

It's weird that this place is in the Sheraton but we checked it out as we were staying next door. I didn't like that they had a huge bar but didn't have any kind of cocktail menu. My husband got a Jack and Coke and it was $18 which is outrageous. We got a bunch of food and the portions were very large. The hot and sour soup was perfect and the orange beef was SO good. The only thing that wasn't super great were the cream cheese wontons but everything else we had was super delish. Kinda spendy but not too much more than a lot of the places we ate at on our trip. Just beware of the bar, they'll get ya!

I'm so thrilled that there is finally an authentic Cantonese restaurant in downtown Brooklyn! My husband and I normally have to go to Chinatown to get our Cantonese fix and we were originally skeptical that Roseli would meet our expectations given the location and surplus of Chinese restaurants in the area catered to American taste buds. But we were in for a huge surprise! I can confidently say that the dishes at Roseli would be approved by my parents and grandparents for both its authenticity and flavor. The highlight of our meal was the beef stir fried noodles, with the noodles made in house. If you are a fan of beef chow fun, this is a must order. The rice noodles have the texture of freshly scraped rice noodles straight from the steamer. All 3 dishes we had were made to order and all ingredients tasted fresh. I'm so glad that we no longer have to make a trip to Chinatown to satisfy our Cantonese cravings. Also, Billy took care of us and he was phenomenal!

manhattan? strong.service? attentive.food? delicious.i've walked by the hotel and roseli sign a few times now and thought i was trippin that i never noticed a chinese (canto) restaurant in the area but it ends up being that roseli only opened a few months ago! coincidentally, i've been on the biggest chowfun kick the past few weeks so i was THRILLED to see that they had an equivalent except with the name beef chen cun fun. i got take out of that dish on a thursday and came back 3 days later that sunday, with my bf to dine in bc yes, it was that good! when i came in to pick up my order, as soon as i stepped through the doors from the hotel lobby, i felt like i was taken back to the restaurants i would frequent in hk or even back in the OC. billy was seated up front and greeted me with the biggest warmest smile and that same smile greeted us on sunday.we ordered the peking pork chop, filet with chives and the beef chen cun fun (again) and everything was so freaking good. my bf and i ordered fully prepared to bring leftovers home but that was a lie - we licked the dishes CLEAN (ok so maybe not FULLY prepared, more wishful thinking ). - peking pork chop 5/5: so tbf i've never had peking porkchop but when i saw the photo of of it on the menu, i just knew we had to get it. i'd say it's similar texture to bejing beef from panda with flavors closer to orange chicken but x1000 better. so crunchy sweet, savory, tart, delicious, SOSSyyyy and sooooo freakin tender!! sorry to roseli for having to compare your authentic dish to panda but it's only to paint a beautiful picture.- filet with chives 5/5: the meat is cooked to absolute perfection *chefs kiss* wow perfectly rare, tender and juicy and the chives were delicious with the fluffy rice.- beef chen cun fun 10/5: SOOO good had to get it twice! flavors are like beef chow fun but the noodles.. OMG the noodles!! and they make them in house!! huh?? how?? don't ask, just eat. compare them to like a cheung fun - a popular dimsum dish (think joe's steam rolls) - but in a noodle dish. you CANNOT skip this! you know how this spot is authentic? they don't ask you if you want rice and how many bowls, they just bring it you. seems trivial but it's true that's how it's done. the rice alone was so fluffy but had enough grit to pick up the sauces from various dishes. between roseli (canto) and sukh (thai) joining kuun (korean), atti (kbbq) , and hans (szechuan), i have my asian food bases covered in downtown bk. i no longer have to go more than a few blocks from my apt to get my authentic-food-fill. when i moved to this area almost 10 years ago, there was barely ANY asian food and now, to have these spots near me brings me tears of umami joy.i can't recommend this place enough for those looking for their canto fill in downtown bk. i wouldn't say roseli is *cheap* -definitely affordable, ESPECIALLY in terms of portions - but i think it'd be best to go with a small group to be able to try a wide variety of the delicious dishes. i can totalllyyy see roseli blowing up esp in the winter time with all the students around!! i hope roseli and billy gets all the business! i cannot wait to go back! welcome to the hood roseli, see you again soon!

Oh wow. This place feels like a Flushing place. Cross a nondescript business hotel lobby to find tucked in the corner a doorway, behind which is this totally mismatched and surprisingly large Chinese dining room that's straight out of a Chinatown. Good selection of dim sum, some more authentic dishes and some Americanized. All excellent, and an unusual place to find in our part of Brooklyn. Feels like the type of place I usually have to get in the car to find. Go here.
