I went here for a happy hour and the line was OUT the door even 20 minutes before the happy hour started. I ordered the white wine ($5) and pizza ($7)Would pass on white wine but everything else was so good and cheap. My friend got the rosemary spritz and I recommend that (what their happy hour is known for) Loved the thin crust on the pizza! It was overall a great happy hour choice and the place was buzzing with energy!

Came to Roey's with a group of former coworkers to catch up. Even though I didn't love my last job, I mf loved the people there. It's important to keep up with people from your past, not only because they are good people, but you never know where they will be in 5-10 years. Unless absolutely necessary, you should never burn a bridge. Just my 2 cents tho.The group of 6 of us came into Roey's and were seated at the big table in the middle. I got a glass of Montepulciano, which I recently learned how to pronounce with a slight Italian accent. I really just order it because I feel beast pronouncing it.We ended up ordering garlic knots, brussel sprouts, and 4 pizzas. You could see them making the pizzas right there in front of you with the open kitchen and a woodfire oven in the back. Few things get me going like a woodfire pizza oven.We got the following pizzas: Margherita, Il Macellaio (pep & sausage), Soppressata (Italian salami & fennel honey), and the Mushroom & Spinach Pizza. The top performer was easily that Soppressata. The italian salami, calabrian chili, and fennel honey worked well together like the 2004 Detroit Pistons. The lowlight was the Mushroom & Spinach pizza, as I really don't like mushrooms or spinach which I chalked up to a personal preference. But, it was the only pizza that didn't get completely finished, which is how you know it was middy-wap.The pizzas, other than the Margherita, were all above $20 a piece and weren't the biggest pizzas ever. I easily could have demolished one myself. Probably 2.All in all, a great place for a group dinner but idk if I'll make it back.IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Came here for some chill happy hour beers and pizza with friends. The vibe inside is popping, it feels like a proper happy hour in NYC with tons of packed tables and pizza and drinks being carried all over.I had the $7 happy hour pizza and $5 beer. Those prices are AMAZING and hard to beat. I tried the spritz drink too and liked it even more than the beer. The pizza is pretty average as far as these wood fired Neapolitan types go, to be honest it reminded me of Alligator Lounge's free pizza . But not necessarily in a bad way! It's cheap pizza with cheap drinks and I'm really happy with it overall.I suppose my only caveat with Roey's is that you absolutely should go during happy hour. The pizza and drinks aren't so mindblowing that I'd recommend it at non-happy hour prices. If it is happy hour, go get lit and have a great time.

Fantastic happy hour deal! $5 spritzes and $7 pizza- can't beat it and everything was very good! The vibe is super cute and it's bigger than it looks inside as well. On the website it said HH was walk in only. We got there right before 4 and there was a line started already. We were told we could only have our table for an hour since they had a reservation coming at 5 which was a bit confusing. After sitting for like 30-40min you could tell they wanted us to leave. All in all it was good just a little rushed. I would go back and maybe try to reserve a table next time

*REVIEW FOR HAPPY HOUR ONLY*Happy Hour (Mon-Fri 4-6pm) at Roey's is probably their most busiest time. They have so many customers vying to dine in because they have pizza on their happy hour menu, which is very rare. I almost didn't get a chance to try, but my friend and I managed to snag a walk-in spot last minute by luck! [As long you have ordered before 6pm, you get to snag the deal.]First, we decided to order MEATBALLS ($10), which came with 2 decently size meatballs. Nothing too small, but not big either. As this store's theme implies, it is made with rosemary. It does taste very homemade and they definitely use their own ingredients. So, I did enjoy it but it wasn't the "best I've tried" as the server hyped it up to be... And considering the price in regards to other options, I could skip this next time. Next, we of course had to try their ROSEMARY's SPRITZ. Almost 97% of the customers that are here for happy hour got the spritz, so I had to try. To preface, I'm not a huge fan of aeperol spritz to begin with and the rosemary add into this drink turned me off even more. I didn't love it like most people seem to do. But I do like the cheap price tag of $5 and the fact that it's very cool to drink on a hot summer day. Lastly, we had to order the famous $7 MARGHERITA PIZZA, which made us come here in the first place. We decided to add the $4 additional cost of the burrata, but I'm convinced it was 100% worth the cost. The burrata was amazing. It elevated the already solid pizza slice. This pizza alone is worth the wait during the happy hour rush. It's the size of a personalized pizza with 4 small slices, but its really good. And at this low cost, it's a bargain! I would totally come again for this!

Came here for happy hour on a weekday! Very no frills, cute spot with $7 margherita pizza (more for toppings) and $4-6 drinks. Pizza size isn't huge but is big enough for a hefty snack or a light dinner if you aren't super hungry or are thinking of getting some dessert after. Fairly decent, not the most amazing, but a good HH deal.

Went to Roey's for dinner a few weeks ago and had an incredible meal, I'll absolutely be back! Roey's has indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted to sit inside since it was raining on the Thursday evening we dined there. It's an intimate space and the tables are fairly close together. After we placed our order, it came out fairly quickly, which was great. However, the only downside was that it felt like the waitress was rushing us. Still, the food was amazing and we loved everything we ordered.- Garlic Knots: The garlic knots are a must order, I don't think I've ever had better garlic knots. Perfectly doughy with so much flavor! - Cacio e Pepe pizza: Yum! We loved this, perfect balance of cheese and pepper without being too rich. Plus, the pizza was pretty large, so we had leftovers. - Kale and Pecorino Salad: So simple but I loved this and would order it again. - Mozzarella and Burrata: Simple appetizer, just focaccia bread with fresh mozzarella and burrata cheese. You can't go wrong! - Desserts: The tiramisu was solid, nothing out of the ordinary. But if I came back I'd absolutely get the olive oil cake again. The blueberry compote on top was so sweet and delicious.

As a fan of Rosemarys, Roeys sister restaurant, I knew I had to try this spot. It blew me away. I'd describe it as a casual Italian spot. Great cocktails and food. Highly recommend the meatballs and garlic knots - the sauce was incredible. For pizza, I loved the Cacio e Pepe pie. You have to get the olive oil cake to end the meal, delicious!

The food service was great and I was able to grab a seat immediately dining alone around dinnertime. I chose outdoor seating, which was perfect for the mid-June weather -- great summertime vibes. The Margherita Pizza is great, especially at the happy hour price. Although there's a bit of a flop in the front when you pick it up, there's the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. (Did I wish there was more basil? Yes, but only because I always can't get enough basil.)I also got a special cocktail they had for pride month, since I was craving a tropical drink and I saw they donated a portion of the proceeds. The drink was great and very much satisfied my craving.

Returned here for dinner after about 5 years. The name has changed but the food was just as good as it was the first time around. We sat at the same seats at the bar and ordered a few cocktails, olives, Burrata salad, kale salad and the sausage Calabrian chili pizza. Everything was fabulous.
