We ordered the Chicken and waffles, shrimp and waffles, and oxtail with rice to share and finished off with a banana pudding. First off their chicken is on point! Not dry at all. HUGE even. but one of our coworkers chose honey garlic on top of the red velvet with syrup and OoOoOoeeyyyy that was sweet! That's on us though for choosing that combo. The Shrimp and waffles was a weird thought at first but why would it be!? Anything fried with waffles is good! The Oxtail was tender and soft. Definitely well seasoned. paired with some coconut rice and beans. The Banana Pudding was a bit small for the group. We thought we at least get a small pint for the price. Overall it's not bad of a spot.

This place has been my go to for a late night soulfood delivery . I usually get the turkey legs or the ox tails. Oxtails are surprisingly really good for an American establishment. The mac & cheese and greens are good as well the portion sizes could be bigger as they do not compared to others so food places but it does taste good. This place does not have seating it's really just for to go orders.

I hate to give this place a bad review but my food was nasty so nasty o couldnt eat it. I was just wondering if it was just me. Ppl put different ingredients in there food idk how you can mess up salmon but whatever seasoning they used ot was really bad

I'm surprised so much negative reviews because the food is good. Real good soul food. The workers are kind and their prices are affordable. My favorite meal is the chili wings. The yams, the mac & cheese, the spinach are all fire.

This definitely a good soul food spot on guy r brewer. Just the other day, was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered some Turkey wings, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and some sweet chili wings. The food was good ,my wife said the the Turkey wings were better then the other soul food spot that has been in jamaica queens for decades, no names, you guys try to figure that one out.The staff was cool and friendly, the girls who work there are doing a good job. Plus the wait wasn't to long .And the air conditioner felt good on that hot day while I waited.

I wanted some soul food so badly tonight and no other places looked appetizing so I was hoping I hit my good luck charm by ordering from here because reviews were sketchy and I'm so glad I gave them a chance. I I ordered via Uber eats not realizing this location is an hour away from me. So a huge Thank You to my delivery driver for getting the food here during the expected time frame given. I ordered the rib dinner plate with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I ordered a side of potato salad, yams and strawberry cake. All of it was so delicious. The collard greens were a little spicy but I was able to eat it all. The macaroni and cheese was very flavorful and the ribs were decent. I could try a different meat next time because the ribs were small and a bit chewy portion for the $16 plate. The strawberry cake was sooooooo delicious. I'm sorry I had to emphasize that a little or maybe a lot? Ha! The yams and potato salad also a huge hit. I'll definitely order from here again. Prices are good and food is amazing.

Used to be my favorite spot, but was utterly disappointed today..The portions were extremely small and the whiting strips were skinny.Yams.. GOODMac and cheese.. ehhhWhitings: burnt, dry, and disgusting $20 to be disappointed.

The food always hit when I order from here. I normally order their catfish and whiting with collard greens, Mac and cheese and candied yams. Their mixed vegetables is good as well. When I order it's never a miss. For dessert I'll order their peach cobbler, which is always good when I order.

Food is not the same as before, used to get your money's worth but now they just be very skimpy with the food. Not worth $33 for two plates.

I ordered food from Rochdale Chicken And Fish yesterday and it made me sick and made my mother VERY sick with food poisoning symptoms. Either the food was spoiled or somebody is NOT washing their hands properly or at all.
