I have been meaning to try Roberta's for sometime, but didn't get a chance to until recently when I was in the neighborhood. This place is such a vibe! When you walk in, you're immediately hit with their ambience, red lighting, and some of the most delicious smells. You can imagine. They ask that if your entire party is not here yet to sit at the bar in the back. I ended up doing so as I was waiting on someone and was greeted by the friendly bartender who showed me they are non-alcoholic options. I ordered One of the non-alcoholic drinks, which was probably one of the best ones. I've tried this month. The bar area itself was lively, and I very much enjoyed interacting with the guests seated around me.For an appetizer, I ordered a dish that looked seasonal, a chicken liver mousse pate that was served with deliciously crispy bread and tart cherry tomatoes. Once my friend arrived, everyone made room and we enjoyed the classic original pie.One thing I really want to note is that this pizza is perfect for a single person. You can obviously share it, but don't feel bad about indulging in an entire pie to yourself because this pizza is not greasy, and the dough leaves feeling nourished, rather than bloated. This pie comes served with a bottle of their spicy chili oil on the side and man the stuff is spicy. The staff at this place is polite, engaging, and thoughtful, and the food is just as fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu as they have so many items aside from their delicious pies. What a great spot!

Tried their bee sting pizza and it was decent. Satisfying thin crust pizza, but it left me wanting something more substantial. I've definitely had better pizza elsewhere. What's nice about this spot is it's conveniently located and quick if you want to grab something fast! Wish they had more options though; they only had bee sting, cheese and pepperoni in their on the go area.I'd try other pizza spots before going here again

walked in on a cold saturday at noon and got seated immediately - ambience is fantastic, super casual vibes. we got the little gem salad and the famous original pizza. service was ok!- little gem salad - hefty portions and super fresh! nice contrast to the heavier pies on the menu.- famous original pizza - took a while to come (like 30 minutes after the salad), which felt a little long, but it was well worth it when it arrived. super hot and fresh, and while it was thin crust, it was still fluffy. The cheese pull was chefs kiss.

This was Exceptional Neopolitan style pizza. All of the ingredients across the board tasted so fresh. Even for sitting down you get your pizza within 10 minutes of you ordering it due to the oven. The cheese was so fresh, the sauce had an awesome natural sweetness with a hint of raw sourness in a tomato with the slightest bit of heat. The dough was a Perfect mix of crispy on the main part yet a perfect mouth feel and chew to the end of the crust. It tasted like it was extra fermented and wow was it worth it.100% one of my favorites in NYC so far, and the vibe of the place is also awesome! The staff here was amazing can't say enough good things about everyone! Can't wait to come back!

Super fresh pizza that did everything right, especially the cheese. Beer and a shot together was 8 bucks which is good to know since it's close to Brooklyn Mirage. The service was difficult to deal with though and we waited forever for our pizzas. The outdoor seating was pretty big and just had benches so it would be great for a larger group. Oh also the pizzas were personal sized and $25 each...

Today, I was relaxing in the area when hunger hit me HARD! I opened my trusty Yelp! app to search for a good place for pizza and found Roberta's less than 2 blocks from where I was standing. On my entry into the front door, I was greeted by the beautiful smells of pizzas baking in the brick oven. The oven made the room warm on this chilly evening.Without a wait, the hostess took us to a table and provided water, utensils and menus. We ordered the pizza with hot soppresata and the "Original" which was a pizza with multiple types of cheese. Both pizzas were incredible. The crust was flexible and folded easily, with the rear crust being slightly crispy. The pizza was so good, there are NO leftovers for later....thats the sad part!Come check them out! I know that I will on EVERY future visit to Brooklyn.

Stopped into Roberta's to sober up with my bestie, who's visiting NYC from Texas. We had just spent 3 hours getting sloshed at Happy Hour at another spot. The brick oven pizza at Roberta's was the remedy we needed. We ordered the Margherita pizza. It was sooo d*mn good! I'm not a lover of thin crust pizza but Roberta's gets it right. It was hot and crispy and fresh out of a flaming, brick oven. I hate that I didn't take a cheese pull, selfie. I'm currently into drizzling pizza with chili oil and Roberta's has their own, signature brand. The staff was really cool. I'd like to go back and try some of the other very tasty sounding menu items. A pasta and lobster dish is at the top of my list to try.

We came recently on a late Saturday afternoon (~3 PM). The restaurant was still bustling with almost every table full; we ended up sitting at the communal table in the inside. Service wasn't the fastest, and it took ~20 minutes for us to get our first app, then ~15 to get our pizzas. We started with the fried sweetbread, which was super interesting. It was our first time trying sweetbread, and there's certainly a unique flavor and texture to it. The batter was super crispy which I appreciated, and the lime really helped. Not sure it's my absolute favorite, and probably wouldn't again, but that's more a reaction to sweetbread itself. We then got the bee sting as well as the white pie. The pizzas were both good, but the crust was a bit dense for my taste. The bee sting was flavorful and well balanced, but I wish the cheese was stronger in flavor. I liked the white pie more surprisingly, as the onions provided great pops.Overall, a good spot, but definitely not among my top choices for pizza in NY!

Bad experience story (Just rude staff) ***After a great night out me and my partner realized we were in the area for Roberta's after making the resy ahead of time.We headed to the dark area of Roberta's .We were greeted by the hostess kindly as I explained we were a bit early than our reservation (20mins) that if there wasn't a table available we'd be fine to wait as I did mention on the resy app it was our anniversary. She showed us to our seats...I kid you not it was at the bench seating next to another couple squished in as my partner felt uncomfortable and asked to be moved to another table ..she declined and said that those tables (possibly 7-8 nice romantic candle lit tables were reserved keep in mind I also made a reservation!).Alas I was just peeved by this so we folded our winter jackets on the chair then waited to order .Which was easy we got our beautiful STRACCIATELLA and it's my favorite. Then the pizza wait was around 30 mins we ordered a bee sting (highly recommend) then another 20mins for the other pizza cheesus Christ (do not recommend) .Then as another couple was seated next to us they looked upset that they were pushed to sit in between it made me uncomfortable also I forgot to mention they put us right in the front next to the pizza oven and the occasional window they'd open for to go orders .They staff was overall rude the pizza took a while close to an hour.Hopefully they improve in the future overall the food has gotten better with time.
