Rib No. 7 is an upscale Korean BBQ restaurant that delivers on quality and flavor, but it is on the pricier side. I've been here several times, and this is a reliable spot for quick service and delicious food. You can also easily make a reservation. The interior is clean and spacious, providing a comfortable dining experience. The staff is attentive, always nearby to assist with grilling and refilling side dishes. I highly recommend the BBQ combo, small feast, which is for 2 people. This offers 3 different meats, a variety of sides, and a choice of kimchi stew or soybean stew. We opted for the soybean stew based on the waitress's recommendation, and it was a great choice. Everything was cooked to perfection, neither overdone nor undercooked, and the flavors were rich. After they finish cooking the meat, they place them on a rack above the grill, keeping them warm for you to grab whenever you're ready. This is probably one of my top ranked Korean BBQ spots. Despite its heavy price tag, the quality of the food and experience make it worth the price. FYI, you'll get a 10% discount if you pay with cash!

I had this place saved for awhile and was excited to head here for Valentine's Day weekend. We made a reservation and were seated pretty quickly. It was a pretty restaurant and definitely look like a perfect place for date night. Our orders were taken quickly. We ordered the hand rubbed marinated beef ribs and the dressed up oodae galbi, seafood pancake and after BBQ fried rice. The seafood pancake took about 15 mins to come out and our BBQ meats, banchan, and a can of ginger ale which needed a reminder, took over 30 minutes. I would've thought it was normal if it wasn't for the couple who sat across from us that came 5 minutes before us were enjoying their BBQ meats and the couple next to us who arrived at least 15 minutes after us were also served BBQ meats before we even had our banchan and meats. After all our food eventually arrived, the service was quick and attentive. I was still excited for the meat and BBQ fried rice which all left me disappointed. The beef ribs were definitely better than the galbi which I had expected it to be tender but instead it was chewy. The fried rice was spicy but just bland. One of the banchans which probably came from the freezer was still icy. I'm disappointed to have chosen this place for Valentine's dinner and cannot recommend. On a side note, they offer a 10% discount for cash payments.

In a discussion of what's the best kbbq spot in the city, rib no 7 always comes so I had to try it! The service was great- they grilled our meat perfectly. I liked the side dishes that they offered but would have loved if they offered steamed egg as it's a kbbq staple. It would have also been great if they offered lettuce wraps to make ssam. I think it's a good spot, and would probably come back if the other kbbq spots were booked out. Btw they give you a 10% discount if you pay in cash. They have an ATM in the restaurant that has no fee.

I like the ambiance of the place as it's more upscale Korean barbecue restaurant. Their grills are also very unique and seem to be electric, if I'm not mistaken. We got the dinner set for two. The best of the three meat courses was the dressed up galbi. The pork belly was so tough and probably one of the worst I've ever had, not sure how you can mess up pork belly... the hand marinated was OK but too salty for my taste. We got the kimchi fried rice and were super excited to try it. However, the person making the fried rice didn't seem to have the scale to do so. First of all, it seems like they used fresh sticky rice, instead of rice for the fried rice - that's where they went wrong to begin with. The fried rice ended up being very mushy... I don't think I'll be returning as most of the signature items we had missed the mark.

~ Large Feast (for 4 people) $260 ~[Prime Ribeye | Prime Chuck Flap Tail | Prime The Nude Oodae Galbi | Prime Dressed Up Oodae Galbi | Hand Rubbed Marinated Beef Rib]Great selection of meat, although some of them are not as tender as I had hoped, but it's good enough, and the flavour is great after some intense grilling! ~ Seafood Pancake $21 ~Great pancake with the edges fried to golden crispy! Loaded with spring onion and seafood~ Spicy Cold Noodle $18 ~I LOVE HOW THEY USE GREEN TEA BUCKWHEAT NOODLE!!!!! You can really taste the green tea flavour, and the noodle is really chewy! It's so delicious when eat together with radish and the spicy sauce!- - - - - - - -Will I be back? Yes, I'd come back even if just for the green tea cold noodle!!!

4.5 stars. The meat quality and service here was very good and I really enjoyed the whole experience. My party of three ordered one of the combos and the portion was just enough to make us content. I wouldn't say that I was extremely full, but I was definitely satisfied by the end. At this Kbbq, the workers there cook the meats for you, letting you just sit back and relax, enjoying a high quality meal. My favorite item was probably the marinated cut, but honestly everything tasted pretty good. It is quite pricey to eat here, but everything in New York is expensive. The interior was clean and the ambiance was nice. It made the whole experience a great vibe and I would definitely want to go back here again. Overall, if you're craving some good korean bbq with some high quality meats, this place is a great option.

I've been here twice now and both times it has been extravagant, leaving me wanting more. Its a bit pricey but its soo worth it. I come for lunch and its never been packed, though we do make a reservation. Service is quick, and always on point, whenever its time for the next course they pop out of the wood works to come cook the next part of the meal. I would love if they gave some lettuce to make ssam though, and if the kimchi rice could go first? So that I could eat it with all the meat. Overall wonderfully delicious.

The Korean BBQ was decent, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the "Small Feast," which included Galbi, pork belly, and marinated beef rib. The BBQ meats were solid, but the banchan (side dishes) left much to be desired--uninspired and boring.Being a fan of cold noodles, I went for the spicy cold noodles with high expectations. Unfortunately, it was a letdown--bland and underwhelming, missing that vibrant kick I was hoping for.

I did the small feast for 2 people. The dressed up odae galbi and hand rubbed marinated beef rib were really good! However, I was disappointed in the pork belly as it was very overcooked and way too chewy for my liking. It was a very filling meal for two ppl and banchans were excellent.
