This is a classic dive spot that's in the theater district and I admit I had no expectations but the food was great. It is literally a hole in the wall with no less than three different names on the front of the place, on the menu and in Yelp, but they all lead the same place. The menu is focused on some of the great classic. We loved the fried noodles dishes and the beef and broccoli was great. Overall not too salty and super tasty. The buns were great as well. It's not a fancy place but it's clean. The tables are New York close Amd the tables are classic plastic but you are here for the food. Net, net we don't have many complaints. It was fast an delicious and takeaway works great as well!Make sure to bring some cash in case their Venmo fails. They don't take credit cards as I recall.

Good, convenient dumpling spot around broadway/midtown/HK. Staff was friendly and accommodating, especially since we came with a larger group of 6.All the food was pretty good, especially for a casual walk-in dinner. Everyone left full and happy.- XLB (steamed pork buns) with and without crab meat.- Steamed Vegetable Dumpling- Scallion Pancake with Sliced Beef- Stir fried hand cut noodles- Hand cut noodle with soup

I recently visited this cozy ramen spot in NYC, and it was a delightful experience overall! The roasted duck handmade noodle was a highlight it was flavorful and rich, though a bit on the salty side. The house special ramen was equally impressive, with a perfectly balanced broth and fresh toppings. We also tried the stir fry, which was satisfying and well-prepared.For dessert, we couldn't resist the classic red bean bun, and it did not disappoint, soft, warm, and delicious. We went on a Wednesday evening and were seated right away, which was a plus. The food came out quickly, keeping the experience smooth and efficient. The service was okay waiters weren't rude, but they weren't particularly friendly either. All in all, the food made up for the slightly impersonal service. Definitely worth a visit for the quality dishes.

Found this hole in the wall place from reviews. Given the location and ambiance, was a bit surprised at the prices. Nicer shops in Korea town are the same price. $64 all in for me and my friend. Be mindful that they automatically add a 15% tip so do NOT inadvertently double tip. Food was alright...best thing we ate were the Peking duck patties...crisp golden brown and good flavor. Crab and pork soup dumplings decent but where's the crab? The bok toy and mushroom bao was disappointing. Fat noodles with duck was alright. Don't think I would go back.

Everything I tried here was really good! The duck buns were amazing and the noodle dishes I really liked. The taro puffs were super tasty. Classic spot and will become a frequent visit for me!

Service was quick but seating limited. Boba teas, hand pulled noodles and buns- a true gem of a whole in the wall!

Originally I was skeptical because this place was relatively close to Time Square, but they delivered! No frills dumplings or noodle soup that is affordable and comes with decent portions. I forgot to get photos of the dumplings but got some of the noodle soup! :( It's a small seating area so it can get pretty busy during meal times so if you're able to come at a little bit off schedule then you'll have a better chance of getting seats. Service was friendly and nice!

Pork XLB was fine. Wrapper was a little gummy, meat filling was flavorful. Wonton soup was ok, dumplings and broth were a bit bland and not much to write home about. Steamed dumplings with mushroom and bok choy were just okay. Definitely ask for chili oil and dip everything in there. Best thing was the scallion pancake which was crispy and the meat inside was great and the accompanying sauce was good. Place is pretty small and cramped. They kept having to move our chairs for them to wheel in frozen boxes labeled with "soup dumplings" and various other menu items. Made me feel like they didn't make the dumplings fresh there but were bringing them in from elsewhere. Service was fine. Overall, I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. I know they're on the Michelin guide but I was not at all impressed. FYI they include 15% gratuity in the bill already.

A solid option in the area. The stir fried noodles were my favorite! The portion was huge and came with a lot of shrimp. We also shared scallion pancakes and steamed buns, which were both tasty. That day, it was cash only but I think they accept cards normally. The inside was nice and they had a projector playing some cooking footage.Just a note - I had visited another location in midtown East called "Kung fu little steamed buns ramen" but realize this place in Hell's Kitchen has "Real" in the name. I still can't fully tell if it's the same restaurant since they have different websites and menu.

The food was delicious! The chicken soup dumplings were so flavorful and tasted like nothing I've had before. The hand cut noodles were thick and I enjoyed those probably even more. I'm a sucker for some good noodles and those were an 10/10. Wish I could've ordered more but it was just me. The service was ehh. Not the friendliest bunch, but you don't come for that. Just need to stop telling customer cash only when their site and Yelp says otherwise. When I went up to pay the man said card or cash. They aren't on the same page. The restaurant was small and they sat me next to a table with people already there eating. Made me a bit uncomfortable, but I was so hungry from walking all day that I put that to the side. They need a better system. I'm not trying to eat with strangers.
