Real Caribbean Pot

The service was okay. The atmosphere was regular for a Brooklyn take out spot.The whiting fish and shredded cabbage were enjoyable, but the rice was a bit dry where it wasn't covered by the fish gravy. Overall, it seems like there were some highlights and some areas for improvement in the dish.

Is this the best Jamaican food in Flatbush ? Is it very clean inside ? Is the staff welcoming & friendly ? Are there tables & chairs to eat the food you just purchased ?The answers to all these questions & more are irrelevant, b/c if you've been partying until the wee hours of the morning & become hungry, they are the only place open with real, freshly cooked food in a pretty wide radius. Be thankful that they are open; take credit cards, & the food is hot & fresh, & reasonably priced.

This place needs to be a restaurant! Food is flavorful. Servings are impressive. Staff are pleasant. Prices are competitive.

I was in this neighborhood running some errands and was search of some good Cow foot aSoup since it was like 20° yesterday.. you would think that a Jamaican restaurant Could deliver that well no it was a potato soup..wait Pon minute where Mi cow foot mon !? Other food but from the looks of it looks like they're jerk chicken is dry.. If I want to potato soup I would have ordered it..please pass up this place place is a rip off if you don't have the right products to make the soup or the dish don't advertise it.

Ordered via Uber eats and didn't have a great experience. Ordered jerk chicken with Mac, Rasta pasta, and a chicken patty. I never got the pasta or the patty. I called them to ask what happened and they said they somehow had a mix up? I had no idea how you miss half the order. They asked me to pick up the other half but it was way too late. They told me I was too far away and they couldn't drop off the food and to call Uber and tell them that I didn't get it or I can "remind" the manager next time I go in that I'm owed those two items. I was so confused to how that would work. The jerk chicken and Mac wasn't as good as I expected either. Probably won't go back as there's other options with great jerk chicken.

Server was a woman with a nasty attitude, who kept getting annoyed because I had to find out from my family what they wanted. On top of that I paid 26 dollars only to get food poisoning. 0/10 . Will never go back here. First and last time!!

The the store owners are very rude. The food came wrong, and they were belligerent and refused to correct it. This is not how you run a business I suggest everyone to take their money elsewhere.

The food was good (curry goat with rice and peas, and a side of macaroni salad). However, I wish the server/attendant was paying attention instead of being on the phone via Bluetooth. I had to repeat myself 3x to let her know that I wanted rice and peas and she added white rice to my meal. The real kicker is that the price for a large meal according to their menu price list advertised in the restaurant was $16.00. My girl turned around and said $20. I didn't even make a purchase for something to drink. I was hungry so I told her the menu list says $16 and she said that it's wrong. If it's wrong then switch off the monitor or adjust the current prices for the meals!! It's incredibly misleading. I've worked in customer service for 15 years. The only reason this restaurant is getting 3 stars is because the food was good. The service tbh has gone down over the last few years and this is rather unfortunate. I will hope that if I do go in there again, that they will make the necessary improvements at the restaurant.

literally just came from this place ordered a large chicken soup .paid 11.00 and she put no chicken in it at all . damm rip off .
