Absolutely incredible! The best combination of service, cuisine and atmosphere! The meatballs were incredible, tortellini soup mouthwatering and the sea bass was amazing. The veal Parpadelle was flavorful and delicious. Attentive and friendly made it an incredible experience

After a knock out 5 star experience on Saturday ~ sadly last night was not even close.Service was very scattered, hurried but then we waited forever- had to ask for bread 3 times, appetizer came out cold, some Pastas lukewarm while others perfect. It was also extremely loud versus Saturday- not that that's the restaurants fault. It was a very hectic and out of control feeling. Saturday was just as if not busier, but last night was a big miss. I'm rethinking my recommendation. Sorry - I was really happy with this spot.

My experience was ok at best. Located in Hyatt's lobby floor, it's a cozy sized restaurant. A little dark, but very lively for a Friday night. I sat at the bar. Service was good up til it took my pasta and sides about 35 min to come out after my appetizer. So the sides were lukewarm.Piece of bread: a singular piece of sourdough bread was brought over, untoasted, cold, with only olive oil. I left it alone lolPolpo alla Griglia: the octopus was cooked well, not too spongy, and seasoned. Looking back, it was missing the arugula listed in the menu. The chickpeas were basically a chunky hummus underneath and the flavors did not make sense to me. Cacio e Pepe: this was ok while it was still warm. The noodle felt a bit thinner than what I'm use to for this dish. Asparagus: they were the big ones and a lot of them! Better to share this as a side. Tiramisu: very good, has the ladyfingers but it's a small portionThe bartender was great, though! But the overall experience was just ok for it to be on the expensive side. Maybe I'll come back for a drink!

Nice spot for good Italian food right by Bryant Park. We had a weekday dinner after work here cause I was desperately craving pasta and had a good time. Service was friendly and they made sure my glass wasn't empty which was nice.We ordered the caesar salad, bolognese, and cacio e pepe. All three were quite good and I personally really liked the bolognese. We each got glasses of wine with our meal and those were enjoyed as well.Nice spot for solid Italian food in Midtown. It can get quite busy and lively at dinner so recommend getting a reservation.

We had a reservation for Saturday night and were promptly seated. The place is busy but not crowded. The ambient is nice, just a little too dark and hard for us older people to read the menu:) We ordered two appetizers, two main dishes, and a desert. All of them are delicious and taste authenticate, rivaling what we had in Italy. The servers are very attentive but not bothering. Overall, a great dinner.

Went there with my family the day after Christmas, the staff was so welcoming. The food was delicious and served in great portions. Our waiter was very patient especially since we had a large group.

Very nice Italian option inidtown. Upscale and classy vibe. Veal polpette was done well, flavorful red sauce and tender meatballs. Carbonara was eggy and worked well with the speck. Pasta was al dente, not overcooked. Tiramisu was a nice finish. Good wine selection. Service was laid back but prompt. Thanks for a great experience.

Make reservations in advance. People know about this spot and appreciate authentic Italian cuisine. The ambiance is sophisticated Euro-flair. Wine selection is robust. Italian men attired in black and white glided around white clothed tables replenishing water from pitchers and a variety of breads from wicker baskets. The service staff hit each entree with grated cheese and ground peppercorns from a towering black pepper mill. A nearby couple enjoyed a table side Caesar salad and the presentation was spot on.I enjoyed a reputable glass of Pinot noir, a fine accompaniment to an outstanding veal bolognese. The fresh ribbons of pasta held the delicious meaty sauce and the balance of ingredients were superb. The prices reflect the service, quality ingredients and attention to detail.Find time to get into this restaurant and enjoy a satisfying dinner.

This place is located in a hotel in case it's hard to find. Everything was delicious here. We found a Super Tuscan wine that wasn't acidic at all and went down smoothly. The pasta was fresh and creamy. I wanted to eat all of it but got so full. Also loved the octopus. The service was great too.

Located in the Hyatt hotel on Madison Ave and in between of 38th and 39th street.4.5 Stars - the upscale Italian restaurant is an imitate place where the lighting was set perfectly. White table cloth with proper plate and utensil settings, it makes you feel comfortable and relaxed as you sit the comfy chairs.4.75 Stars - Service - our server and the other staff members were helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. Depending on what you were eating, the plates or utensils were replace with the proper place setting. You feel you are in a Michelin star restaurant without the price.Food: 4.5 Stars 4 Stars - Antipasti - MELANZANE.baked layers of sliced eggplant, tomato, Parmigiano- Reggiano, basil sauce. The sauce was pleasant and seasoned well with the eggplant. The cheese was nice and melty. A good "melting-pot" of the ingredients. However the portion was smaller than expected. If you have a small appetite, then it will be perfect for you. Also, the eggplant was not breaded and deep fried before the slices werelayered. NOTE: There are different recipe variations of this meal, so ask your server if you are unsure. 4.5 Stars - Chef's Special - Seafood Pasta The black ink linguine was served with sautéed prawns and half a butter lobster. The sauce was a cherry tomato garlic white wine reduction sauce. The noodles were al dente and the shrimp and lobster were evenly cooked. Definitely a keeper for me. I will make it at home.3.75 Stars - TIRAMISUThe dessert was okay, had better at other places. Presentation was unusual, (being in bowl). It was much lighter than other tiramisu we had. The dessert had a very light and almost fluffy whipped cream, a single layer of the espresso pound cake. The whipped cream cheese and egg whites were evident but not as much as you expect. Personally, I would "pass" on the dessert. NOTE: easily a shareable dessert.
