I'm not sure if they were short staffed or busy but when we entered, no one was there to welcome us. My friend had to go all the way to the kitchen to look for the staff and get us a table. Anyway, food was great! Me and my friends ordered the same ramen. We enjoyed it with a glass of sake.I like the vibe of the restaurant. It's simple and cozy.

The interior hasn't changed but the menu is drastically different since the last time I came here. I think it's great because it now caters to vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian dietary restrictions. So there's something for everyone! Which is rare at a ramen restaurant. Unfortunately I don't think the soup I got was very flavorful so I didn't love it here. But! I ordered barley/soy miso broth and not the pork broth, which could be much better. The taste was flat and there was no depth, the noodles weren't standout, but I did enjoy the toppings. The waiter also was very responsive to changing the toppings the ramen originally came with so I appreciated that.

My friends and I came here around 1:30pm during MLK, made a reservation ahead because it's a holiday and the place is kind of small. Casual ramen spot and price is reasonable given the portion size and flavor. They have lunch special from 12-4:30 everyday? I personally prefer the regular menu as it has char siu without additional charge (the lunch special comes with karaage and rice but additional charge for char siu). The soup is flavorful and warming and the char siu is cooked just right. The noodle is al dente egg noodles. Generous amount of veggies. Overall, solid quality of ramen.

I had a very good bowl of spicy tan tan miso ramen, one of the specials. My friends also enjoyed their meals. Service is efficient, but felt a little overstretched, even for this tiny establishment. My ramen bowl initially came without a poached egg, but the server corrected the mistake after I brought it to her attention. The space is simple but comfortable enough. I would go with up to 4 people in a group, but no larger. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

Honestly was not blown away. The food was fine and the temperature was perfect but the broth did not have as much flavor as I prefer. I've had much better in nyc.

Came for an early Friday dinner and didn't need to wait in line! Something I really appreciate in NYC. Many options here!!! The noodle I got was delicious. Not too spicy and flavorful. My friends did say, the portion size wasn't big enough for them bc the only protein source in their orders was the minced pork. So if you do eat a lot, may need to add extra side. Overall, I think it's good! But won't say it was the best ramen I have ever had. still is a spot that I want to come back to.

Had the chashu ramen with fried tofu and it definitely hit the spot. The place was pretty crowded when my friend and I got there but we didn't have to wait too long to get seated.

This place was conveniently located in Saint Marks. I was seated right away and was super excited to try the food. The staff was friendly but there is limited seating. 1. Kara-age (6/10): This was good but it didn't have much flavor. 2. KOME MISO (6/10): The flavor was good but it felt greasy. I was not able to drink the soup and the noodles were a little too soft. This place was convenient but I would not go out of my way to return to it.

My husband and I decided to have a nice hefty bowl of Ramen before taking on the city during St. Patrick's Day. We've never been to this location before! The restaurant has a few tables outside and the inside is cute, stylish, and quaint. A perfect local New York City ramen shop. There are interesting decorations, and fun facts on the wall that explain the beauty and the benefits of Miso. I thought that was so interesting. Besides the decor, when you walk in, you are instantly hit with the delicious smells. The aroma in the air is so comforting. We were greeted instantly by a friendly face. She asked us to sit anywhere we'd like. The menu has many options, but not too many which I think is perfect. What really caught my eye was the different style ramen based on locations in Japan! I had the Nagoya style and my husband has the Hokkaido style. The flavor was so rich with just the right amount of miso, salt, and spices. The pork and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. This soup was a serious flavor bomb. We also ordered. Karaage as an appetizer. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. We are definitely going to make this our regular spot. If you are looking for a delicious Ramen shop, whether you are a local or visiting, I definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

Consistently excellent vegetarian ramen. Great vegetarian and vegan options for appetizers. The service is prompt. Great place for ramen in any season. We've been coming for many years.
