Radio Star

The place has a great cozy clean vibe, outdoor area is great size too. Our group of four split a few things to eat, I could have ate a few more merguez in a blanket very good! The bread and dips are the way to go recommended by the server.

Described by Brooklyn Magazine as a retro looking cafe with Mediterranean flair, Radio Star gives off a lowkey, diner like vibes with comfort food. We came for dinner. Given it is more like a cafe, I wonder if their breakfast and lunch options are better. We split the roasted garlic and half sour veggie jars for 4 dollars a piece. I wish we had gotten a bit more vegetables. The merguez in a blanket and the mushroom filo were really nothing memorable. The smoked charred short rib was very tender but on the fattier side with a lot of sauce. It felt like it should've come with something to eat it with like a bread, or rice. Lastly we split the broccoli rabe and lemon potatoes.Overall, cute interior with a diverse looking menu. I wasn't too impressed with our dinner, but given all the hype, I'm sure breakfast and/or lunch options may be significantly better.

Cool spot if you catch it right with music and dj but casual can sit outside or buy a drink. There is a nice outdoor space across the way too

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend and had a good experience. Oat milk latte, feta pastry, sweet saffron cream cheese pastry, and berries, nuts and seeds, labne were all solid, with the cream cheese pastry being the clear highlight. Menu is pretty light - felt like more of a coffee/pastry situation than a full breakfast.

The dips were incredible. The jars are huge! Put the dips on everything. The tables are a little tight but that adds to the vibe. The fish was the least exciting but the rest was incredible.

Came here a few weeks ago with a group. Nice setting overall with friendly staff. Good vibes. That said, I really thought the food was lacking. Everything was under seasoned and half our orders came out cold. Probably need to work on timing a bit. Would be interested in trying it again

A simple delight! Worth any line- quality pastries and sandwiches that leave your taste buds bursting! So delicious and filling

very cute diner vibes ! i stopped by for lunch and got the pork griddle sandwich and a cappuccino. the sandwich was tasty, but service was a bit slow -- i waited almost 30 min to get my food. i also realized after i didn't get the sauce that should come with the sandwich :^(

The Fish in Parchment was incredible -- everything at this place is thoughtfully done and flavorful. Also love the 304 cocktail, which makes scotch and rye feel like a summery combo.

I have been to radio star twice now, once for brunch and once for lunch. I personally had a much better lunch meal! I also don't eat eggs or meat, so maybe that was the issue for brunch. But for their lunch I got their white orange tea, which was light and refreshing and their tofu griddle sandwich. This tofu sandwich was bursting with flavor, and I love the unique griddle cake (idek what it is) that acts as the bread in this sandwich. The dip they gave looks spicy, but wasn't really at all, and added tons of flavor to the sandwich. The interior is cute, and easy to get a spot mid day during the week. I even got a spot on a busy brunch day, and the staff were very nice to quickly sit us between reservations if we agreed to leave within a certain amount of time! They have a patio thats great on a nice day, but I've sat inside both times.
