But let's talk about the real star of the show--Sal. Or as I prefer to call him, Salvatore il Magnifico, Master of Service and Guardian of the Old-School Brooklyn Charm. This man defines what it means to be a consummate professional, effortlessly blending sophistication with the kind of personal touch that makes every visit feel like a homecoming.Now, let's get to the veal. Last night, it was absolutely off the charts--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My fiancée and I could not stop raving about it. Every dish here is crafted with the kind of care and passion that's rare these days.So do yourself a favor: ask for Sal--because Tony Pro's grandson said so. (And trust me, you don't want to argue with that.)Five stars, all the way.

Came here to have a 16th birthday dinner with my daughter and some family. Upon walking in, was asked if we had a reservation, which we did not but were still seated immediately. It was the evening the restaurant was dimly lit, very intimate and perfect for a date night. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My daughters request was calamari and oysters, which she enjoyed. I had the porcini ravioli, her friend had the lobster ravioli, her brother ordered the chicken parm with linguini, my partner had a Caesar salad and the birthday girl had the black linguine pescatori. Everyone enjoyed their meal, all very flavorful hot and fresh. I would come back for another meal.

This review is long overdue so here I go. Positano is one of my favorite restaurants. The Veal Parmigiana is so soft and delicious. The sauce is too die for. I also love the Pistachio Martini's. So delicious. The ambiance is great, too.For my colleagues retirement party, I held it at Positano's. Val made everything go so smooth for me. He was lovely to deal with. Very nice and amazing to do business with.The tables were set up so perfectly and the waiters were so helpful and professional. I recommend Positanos's for a date night, a night with friends and family or any special occasion. Thanks for the wonderful food and service in Bay Ridge.Val, you rock!!

We went back for Valentine's Day and we're treated like a king and Queen! As usual the food was amazing, If you love steak you must have the tomahawk steak for two. Best steak we ever had in our life. The service is always wonderful, and the manager was so sweet and have all the women a beautiful rose!

I got invited to a birthday party a for an old friend. This was my first visit to Positano, but certainly not my last. This is an old school Brooklyn establishment, with some old school diners. We ordered Fried Calamari, and Crab Cakes as appetizers. The Calamari was good, and the Crab Cakes were excellent. I ordered a Tagliatelle with Mushrooms as my main. The pasta was cooked properly, and the Mushrooms were tasty. For the birthday celebration were shared a Bread Pudding desert. It was good, not great. Service was spot on, and everybody had a good time. I will return the next time that I'm in Bay Ridge.

5 stars today!! I haven't been here for a while as my last experience was not that great. I use to come here often and have been spending more time in Williamsburg and areas outside of BayRidge. My neighbor who moved to Singapore 10 years ago comes back to visit every year so we decided to give them another chance.Positano has stepped up there game! Great service from the valet, to the hostess, bus boy and waiter. Not rushed, great food, very courteous staff, very clean, nice crowd. Great upscale decor, a place to be scene, cozy place to go whether you sit indoors or outside. The bathrooms are spotless and fresh smelling. Amazing choice of steaks if you are a red meat fan.We had the mango salad and special appetizer. For mains I had the ahi tuna which was awesome. It had a chili sauce, fresh steamed spinach and potato croquette's. My friend had a pasta special which was great as well. We skipped desert as we were on a time constraint to visit a cigar bar in the neighborhood. After today I would definitely go back soon and recommend them. Was a really nice experience.

Nice Italian restaurant , good menu , nice service. Everything we had was delicious and made with good ingredients . Our waiter was great my only issue is I think when they tell you specials they should state the price of the dish! A bit shocking when you get the bill and the special pastas were $48 each and the fish $59. That was a bit overboard, but like I stated food was great.

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday, we had about 20 people. They were very accommodating for our large group because we planned about a week in advance and had set courses, the food was delicious, the service was efficient and the owner was extremely friendly and the party manager was very personable. Overall I think this is a great place if you want to have a big dinner, the inside is very beautiful and the food was very very delicious. I highly reccomend Positano!

I had dinner here with my boyfriend one night and remember when it was a place called 101. He was adamant about not going. It's one of those places where it can seem like a certain kind of hangout. But I didn't get any vibes where I felt out of place. The chicken scarpiello is amazing. It comes with sausage and pepperocinis and was better than any scarpiello I have ever tasted. The escarole was also very good as well as the tuna tartare. We finished with tartufo, which tastes the same to me pretty much anywhere. The food takes quite some time to come out, so definitely don't come here if you're starving. The most important thing is they did not disappoint.

Amazing food and nice atmosphere. Will definitely comeback again. Service was very good.
