Went here for a quick girl's night out. Our waiter was great. Atmosphere inside was nice, however I did not like how the locals were hanging outside smoking weed. Here's what I liked:Waiter- niceDrinks- 10Guacamole and chips-10Fries-10Wings- -0 (The wings had NO seasoning on them and were so bland that I could not eat them. When fried, they had no color to them. )Chicken corn taco- 0 (Again the chicken had NO taste/seasoning at all!)Very disappointed that a Spanish establishment did not have well seasoned food. Would I make a special trip here again, probably not. However, if I wanted a drink then yes.As the service was great, I am hoping with some tweaking of the flavors they would become very popular.

Found Pomo on yelp after visiting the Botanical Garden. It's a short walk away from the Botanical Garden and the reviews were good so my fiancée and I decided to give it a try. When we came in it was pretty empty as it was around 4pm. A few people were sitting at the bar and the lovely bartender said we can choose to sit anywhere from the various tables available. We chose to sit on the chic sofa and chairs that lined the windows near the entrance. It's not a large place but it was very cute and stylish. The bartender promptly took our drink orders. My fiancée ordered her usual gin and tonic with Hendricks gin. I ordered a guava margarita with a smooth tequila blanco suggested by the bartender. Everything was great. I ordered three tacos to start and they came out quickly and were delicious. So good I ordered two more before we left and a watermelon margarita. I will definitely be returning to this place after a visit to the Botanical Gardens. I felt welcome and the music selection was great; it had me dancing in my seat along with the food !

Came here for happy hour and the drinks were great! The pizza was delicious and it's cute and pretty calm in there. Staff is attentive.

Been to Pomo a few times during the soft opening. What can I say, it's just the type of bar we need in the area after a bunch have closed in the past year.I had the pleasure of talking with some of the owners and they're really nice guys who intend on being an active participant in the community. The food is extremely good (tried all their meat tacos so far) and the shrimp taco is my favorite - super crispy, well seasoned and dressed. Generous sizes as well, so 2-3 work as a meal for me.If you're into mezcal, they do it right here. Their house mezcal is actually delicious and the selection is well curated. I'm loving their mezcal old fashioned every time I'm there.The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and feels like a true neighborhood bar without sacrificing quality on drinks or food.

Love Pomo! New-ish bar in the area great for tequila and mezcal cocktails. Their food is excellent as well. The first few times I visited, the owner was working and is the sweetest guy who poured his heart into the menu. My personal favorite here is a Oaxacan Old Fashioned, but I've yet to have a bad cocktail here so far. Hope this place really takes off because it's a bit of a hidden gem!

Really nice bar with great food and drinks! Nice ambience, big screen tv. Had a lovely night here.

Great food, great drinks, great host. Mezcal and tequila selection is top notch. Dishes are a cut above. Absolutely worth stopping in.

Place wasn't crowded but figured it's because this is a new spot. The cocktails here are delicious and made with detail. The staff was friendly and can't wait to come back for more drinks!

Exquisite cocktails, eye opening mexican food (quality Mexican pizza!) and outstanding hospitality

Drinks are fabulous- well balanced and interesting flavors. The atmosphere here is welcoming- good music, lots of seating options. Not usually too crowded. Would recommend!
