If you are driving get there 15 minutes before at minimum, you need the time to park and walk to the restaurant. It's on the same block as the police station, don't fret unless you have priors : ) From my past dining experiences, I do not normally see 12oz steaks on the menu. I enjoyed my meal, the rice with the fried egg was a nice touch for me. I need the carbohydrates and the protein for night out after the meal. Lastly, the waitress, Sammi was easy going, very personable and funny - she had jokes. Hit this place up if you're in Downtown Brooklyn.Good:-Tacu-Tacu Steak-RSVP on OpenTable for 1000 pts OpenTableBad:-Street Parking

Stopped for dinner and got seated immediately on a wednesday night around 7:30! We tried the Lomo Saltado (32) and the second de cordero lamb shank (41). The dishes were mostly in the 20-30 dollar range. Both dishes were pretty good with tender meat and very home cooked flavors. Nothing was salty or too loud for the taste palate. However, I do think the flavors not being as bold left me wanting more at the end of the meal. I wished my lomo was a little more saucy. The fries sat on top and were dry. The meat however, was so good and a little sweet. Service was friendly. For cc payment, they charge an extra 4 percent. They gave us a venmo or zelle option too.

Pollo D'Oro has been on my list to try for a while so we finally made it and came for brunch. The atmosphere was cute and classy, with fresh flowers on every table. We were the only table in the restaurant at noon-ish, but it didn't feel awkward because they had background music playing and a game on the tv. I ordered the Causa Crocante from the weekend menu. It was listed in the chef specials section at $17, and so I was confused at the small portion size when our food was brought out. They were delicious and beautifully presented, but it was awkward when I finished my meal in a few minutes and watched my friends eat their meals with normal portion sizes. I ordered plantains to supplement it, but still left the restaurant hungry at the end. I wish the dish had been listed in the side dish section or as an appetizer to avoid confusion and disappointment. My friends enjoyed their dishes so perhaps I just had bad luck.

Tried this spot while in the area. Got the quarter chicken with fried yuca. The chicken was seasoned nicely. The yuca wasn't bad either. The classic ceviche was also good. The highlight for me was the aji verde. It definitely was tasty and compliments each dish. The drinks kinda hit the spot and didn't. First mojito wasn't the best, but the second tasted like how a mojito should.

Came here on a weeknight with a reservation with a few friends. We ordered the following and everything was really good. The fried seafood mix was definitely super tender and tasty, the fish was amazing. The potato and egg dish was also great too. They servers were super nice and patient. There's actually a lot of space in the restaurant even though it may look small from the outside. It was a little hard to find at first but once seated it was pretty lively.

I cannot rave about this bar enough! The drinks are phenomenal and I felt like I was transported to Perù when I came here. I definitely want to come by for their food but their drinks are delicious and strong. My favorite was the passionfruit mule they had and the Pisco punch. Also they have an all day happy hour that cannot be missed so definitely come check them out.

This is my go to spot for Peruvian food. Good food, good drinks, and good service, it never disappoints and I think it's the best Peruvian restaurant in NYC. I like to order a few things to share family style. All the food is usually on point, but my favorites are the seafood dishes, especially the ceviches, they are some of the best ceviches I've ever had.

THE BEST PERUVIAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD! This is my new favorite restaurant in NY! Chicha morada 10/10Chilcano (Peruvian mule) 10/10- really strong Leche de tigre 10000/10 Ceviche mixto 9/10This place is cute! They have an outdoor area which they cover when it rains. Their customer service is very good, they are very atent. Payment: they charge an additional 3% when you use your debit or Credit Card. You can pay with Venmo or Zelle to avoid the additional charge. You just need to let the server know how much you are giving as tip and what service you are using. Food: The leche de tigre is small and enough for one person while the ceviche mixto is enough for 2 people if you are sharing. If you are eating it as a meal, for 1 person you will be satisfied.
