This Spanish wine bar located in Brooklyn is truly a gem. The inside of the restaurant is romantic, warm, and inviting. The staff here is so friendly and helpful in giving recommendations for both food, wine pairings, and just wine in general. When I went, I got the fluke, sweet potato, santa maria steak, and one of their specials that day. Everything was delicious, but my favorite dish was definitely the sweet potato with caviar. It just had a phenomenal kombu-based sauce that I really loved. Their desserts were also delicious and I loved the squash gelato. All of the wines that I had this night were also amazing, and I would come back just for the wines. Highly highly recommend!

Very simple dishes, great wine selection, service was mixed. definitely a bit out of the way if you're not in the neighborhood.Came here with a group of 5 and we were seated in a cozy booth. We ordered a wine which was relatively basic, but had a funky taste that I enjoyed but one of our party did not.Food menu was simple and relatively long and diverse for a wine bar. It was difficult to know how much to order given the range of dish sizes and the lack of much correlation with price (some of the bites were like $20). The waitress was unfortunately not very helpful. We aimed to order less and mentioned that we might order another dish later; "the kitchen typically doesn't like when you do that." I cannot understand why she would say this. If we ultimately wanted to order it, we would have felt uncomfortable but presumably the kitchen would have made the order. If we didn't, she made it clear to us the place is inflexible for no reason. Also, we were seated in the middle of service - there was no issue preventing them from making an additional pasta.I personally didn't mind too much, but I found it representative of the service: aloof. There weren't too many people and I found it odd how infrequent it was.The food was great. Dishes were simple and really highlighted the quality of the ingredients. One of the dishes was just 5 anchovies. Best anchovies of my life and they literally cost $1 each in bulk. The steak was simple and perfect. A galette de rois was a fun special.Cost per person (including a bottle of wine) was $60. reasonable, though we probably would have ordered another dish if we wanted to fill up.If you don't live in the area, it'll be difficult to get here. It was at least a 10 minute walk to the nearest transit.

This Spanish wine bar is a great date spot and has a cozy atmosphere especially in this cold weather. Highly recommend going again as they have a good selection of Spanish wine from full body to more fruity selections. Server was also very knowledgeable about the wine selection and menu. Overall very worth it and would come again.

Excellent wine. Great service. Delicious food. Everything we ordered was amazing. The sardine toast was the perfect mix of salty (the fish) and savory (the butter) and tart (the grapefruit kosho). The iberico pork collar and cavatelli were both rich and flavorful, and they complemented each other very well. The choux pastry dessert was not too sweet, with the seasonal grape compote and the creative soba cha cream. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

A friend and I made a stop here on a weeknight for a drink. This cute wine bar has a cozy, yet clean feel. We got a bar seat in the back where we were able to watch them slice up some salami, which was fun.For drinks, I had the Nectarine Sling ($17). This was light and refreshing with the sweetness from the nectarine. It's a tad pricey for a simple cocktail, but was delicious. Since we just had dinner, I decided to opt for the Choux Craqulin ($15) for dessert. It's a nice sized choux filled with a blueberry compote in the middle. The flavors were well balanced and not too sweet, so I enjoyed this. Despite that, it's quite expensive for a dessert item though.

3.5/5Delicious food in the cutest, cozy space in Clinton Hill! I would definitely come here for the cute vibes and great service. My favorites were the mains - we got the black bass and malfadine pasta. The frontage ice cream was also incredible and I wanted more. Everything else didn't really stand out to me and were a little too salty for my liking, so I found the dishes were really hit or miss. The sardine toast was salty (although expected), the mussels were quite sour and a little fishy, the potato dish sauce was delicious but the flour part had very little flavor and just felt like balls of dough. The bottle of red wine our waiter recommended was excellent and I enjoyed the vermut as well, which was a little sweeter. For the price, I expected a little more from the taste of the food, but I really enjoyed my time here due to the vibes and service!

Amazing meal, space, menu, team, loved it all. We sat at the bar, food came quickly once we figured out what we wanted to order and the team was great explaining everything to us. Would recommend anything on the menu as we didn't have a single weak dish. Dessert was also fantastic. I'll be thinking about the fried mushrooms for a long while.

Amazing evening! Service was impeccable. We lucked out by getting a seat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. We were so enthralled watching the kitchen work. The raw bar selection was incredible, so much attention to detail. The maitake with a side of garlic fudge is un-missable. The potato dumplings is the most elevated potato I've ever had. The deserts were so imaginative (we got three!) and a perfect end to our meal. 15/10
