We came in June 2023 and sat outside on a summer evening and hardly anyone was in the restaurant but we loved the food so much we knew we wanted to come back! The lamb was one of the best lambs I've ever eaten, cooked perfectly. We also split the mezze platter which sported enough delicious dips and bread that we were able to take some home to add to our lunches. We came back in November 2024 and the restaurant was packed! This time we enjoyed a shared meat platter. Service was slower, as it appears this restaurant has taken off and was bustling. Wine list includes great options including from Turkey and Greece, as well as classic and delicious Montepulciano and Pinot Noir.

We did not eat here so I can't comment on the food. We went there to enjoy a drink before dinner. If you like bourbon or cocktails this place is really great. If you are into wine. I mean really into wine. The. This may not be the place for you. Their bartender are fun and friendly so no issue there. The only reason for my rating is I was expecting more from the wine list

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. After leaving another bar nearby for lunch, my friends and I stumbled onto Pierre Loti's looking for a spot to have a few more drinks. We wound up staying here for 4 hours. The service was fantastic and everyone working there was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Margherita and Mushroom Pies when we got hungry and they were delicious. My favorite was the Mushroom Pie! Can't recommend this spot more, I'd go here anytime!

We came here for a 10th anniversary party for some friends and enjoyed the space and the food, so we thought we'd try it for a regular visit to see how it compared and I'm happy to report, we still love it!We were looking for some place near Union Square to meet a friend who works in the neighborhood and immediately thought of Pierre Loti. We were seated by an enthusiastic host and had great service from our waiter. One of the great things about this place is you can eat tapas style and they even have some half portions of their full size entrees and that fit the bill for what we wanted. We started with delicious cocktails...my old fashioned was terrific and my friend loved his Gallipoli cocktail .For food we had a lot of small plates, Baba Ghanous and Muammara (very delicious), watermelon salad (I could eat it every day), Pastrami Phyllo Rolls, Deviled Eggs (so good) and Hunkar's Delight (amazing). We finished up with chocolate baklava and chocolate mousse pie. The baklava was great but the chocolate mousse pie was a miss. Way too rubbery and not chocolately enough.Service was great and with a Turkish flavor, which is always good. Our friend who works in the neighborhood said he's adding this to his local rotation so this apparently has several new fans.

I was at this long running wine bar a good while back with one of my groups. While they advertise as a wine bar, their menu consists primarily of mezze with a mix of Mediterranean influences and a few other things though I would say it is primarily Turkish as they're serving some food which you really don't find outside of said restaurants. I remember the staff being pretty friendly. I went with two of the mezze as my meal as that group doesn't split much ordering the large version as the latter as my main.My first of the mezze was the Zucchini Pancake known in Turkish as Mücver or zucchini with dill, scallion, eggs, and flour served with yogurt sauce which also came with a side salad with pieces of greens interspaced between tomatoes. The version here was pretty good though it was on the softer end compared to others I've tried. They gave three pieces which makes it adequate for a group as well. My other dish was the Manti or rather Mantı which consists of handmade beef dumplings served with a light garlic yogurt sauce. This dish was available in both a large and small size and I went with the latter as I treated it as my main though both dishes came out around the same time which was fine. The warm dumplings and the colder yogurt pairs nicely together and they certainly gave plenty of dumplings for the price which I think was in the 20s for the large. The flavors were OK with not enough garlic but again, the portion was good for the prices. We got dessert afterwards and I got the baklava which was nice and not overly sweet with a good presentation as well and I would recommend it.. Another person went with the Baked Rice Pudding/sütlaç which was a standard tasty version of this dessert. There was also some other dessert we ordered but I don't remember the name or trying it. The food here was fine. Not the best Turkish food but it's good in a pinch. Literal definition of OK though they're not really trying to be anything but this.. 3.3

Really enjoy the ambiance at Pierre Lotti, especially for drinks and apps. The menu can be a bit pricier, but highly recommend the mushroom flat bread. Such a cute area of the neighborhood too!

We were in the area and this restaurant actually had room for us for dinner. It was so nice to find a place in the busy evening rush. The interior was very nicely decorated. Our server was nice and gave us recommendations and helped answer our questions on the menu. This was a very spontaneous decision to have dinner here so both of us didn't know what to expect or what we were going to order. We got drinks and a few Mediterranean themed appetizers to share. The complimentary bread was good and the various dishes were great. Price was reasonable given the location. This isn't a very casual place for dinner and it does have a cute appeal for a more upscale friends catch up or date night.

I don't go out a lot in Gramercy, but Irving Place is such a pretty area with lively and quaint covered sidewalk cafés, places like Pierre Loti. When I'm in this area, I'm reminded of how irresistible it is.I met a friend here last night minutes before 6 and the very kind manager that seated us told me I could still make happy hour, so I quickly put in an order for an Aperol Spritz and hummus tapas. Happy hour prices are awesome for the area and it runs a generous 3 hours, starting at 3pm. I can get behind that now that I'm finally a happy hour person at this point in life. The menu has very few vegan items, several vegetarian options that perhaps can be made vegan? I mean, their fries are not but perhaps it's because they are served with aioli? No idea. But sometimes you want a girl dinner of hummus and fries, y'know? Their hummus is perfection, served with fresh, chewy baguette slices. And my Spritz was also perfect. I've been ordering them in places all over the US and I'm disappointed half the times because bartenders seem to not know how to make one.Inside is so cozy and oozes with that old timey Manhattan appeal that I cherish. I guess this is nostalgia speaking. Damn me. The only thing that I had a huge issue with is the acoustics. It's so loud in here that I felt dizzy. This has only happened to me when I'm in places with similar acoustics. It was packed with loud groups (on the wine bar side, that is) by 6:30. If it hadn't been raining, I would have opted to sit outside. Note that they have a more chill dining room to the side, so that is also probably a lot less noisy? I really loved the wine bar's ambiance, though. Next time I'll plan to hit a longer happy hour because it was very quiet when I arrived at 6.Regardless, I love this place. The staff is so attentive and nice, too.

We were trying to grab drinks before we made it further uptown but everything seemed to be packed. As we were walking, we strolled past Pierre Loti and they said they could seat 5 in their parklet. Honestly, we're very glad this worked out! It was not packed at all so we had a whole corner to ourselves. We got some apps for the table but more importatly we had several drinks all of which were very good. They have an impressive wine list and you can't go wrong there but the cocktails are also very good. The only downside was that they had a party inside and because of that, we found ourselves at some points waiting for water, or the check even. Still, worth a visit!

Nice dimly lit place to grab small bites and a drink. Good cocktails. Beers by the bottle. Fresh fig, honey, melted brie with warmed pita, and a salted pastrami roll.
