Piccola Cucina Casa

I stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I hadn't made a reservation but they were able to find a table for one, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. I started with the bruschetta which was definitely big enough to share between two. The bruschetta was very tasty and had a very generous serving of lovely fresh tomatoes on it. I then moved on and had the boar tagliatelle for my main. This dish was DELICIOUS! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the ragu was so flavorful. I think this is my favourite pasta dish that I have had so far in NYC. Unfortunately I didn't have room for dessert but I did see the tiramisu get made at the table next to me and it looked great (will try and have room for that next time). I also enjoyed two glasses of wine and the total bill, including tax and tip, came to $95 which I thought was reasonable for the quality of the food. I think this is my new favourite restaurant in the city. The restaurant is so welcoming and is a lovely place to enjoy a great meal. The pacing of the service is perfect as well, I was there for about 90 minutes all in and never felt rushed. I will definitely be back (have already suggested visiting here next week to my other half) and highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

Great service and great food! The caesar salad really stole the show for me. I loved the smokiness from the brown sauce (want to say it's bbq, but I am not sure). The pasta is also really good and well made.

I cannot recommend this more! One of the best Italian places I've been to! Ambience: the vibe of this place is immaculate! They have chefs making fresh pasta and you can see it! I saw someone order the bucatini- and they prepare it in front of you (it looked amazing). Outside of that, the waiters and bar tender were amazing! They were speaking Italian and you can tell how much they cared about the people at the restaurant. I also loved the decor and lighting! Very romantic and comfortableService: incredible service! They were fast but did not rush you out which I thoroughly appreciated! Everyone was so friendly and kindFood: the food was amazing! I'd definitely go back again any day for some of the pasta! We got the squash blossoms - which was an explosion of flavor in your mouth! I loved it! The gnocchi was so well made (but also just a tad bit too salty)! The tagliatelle with wild boar ragu was amazing - 10/10 would get this dish again! It doesn't feel like you can go wrong herePrice: reasonably priced for everything - although I do think the apps were really pricey (almost the price of a pasta dish)

Wounded warriors NOT welcomed here! Unbelievably, this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. I asked the manager why they didn't have access for me and she replied "I don't know". Even portable ramps ($30 on Amazon) would be fine. If you know a wounded warrior or any disabled person, you should not eat here.

I came here for my birthday and had a great time. I wanted something simple with quality. The food here was SOOOO good. I was craving steak for a month and went to another place a week prior and didn't satisfy my craving. this steak was so so so good and perfect portion sizes. I'm actually going back with a friend in a few weeks! it's a small cute italian restaurant you won't regret it !

Everything was amazing. I wish I took more photos. The polpo alla griglia was AMAZING so tasty, tender, just grilled enough without being burnt. We were a group of 5 and everyone was happy with their pasta orders. The portions were very generous. The cotoletta alla milanese (chicken cutlet) took up a quarter of the table. Service was so attentive, friendly and helpful (answering all our questions and setting up a birthday surprise). Would definitely go back or try another location. Lastly.. table side tiramisu

Such a special and delicious spot where, from the first bite, you know you're in good hands. Their care and attention to every detail, every fresh, homemade ingredient, is incredible. Flavors I've only tasted in Italy, and homemade pasta stretched and cut right in front of you. Loved their gnocchi and their lasagna. The fried squash blossoms were insane! Best I've ever had! And their tiramisu was a show in itself, as one of the servers came out and prepared it in front of us, the ladyfingers, espresso and all. The cream, made over three and a half hours that day. It's a cozy spot with lots of dog-friendly outdoor seating. Can't wait to come back.5 stars!!!!!

I just wish there was more space, while I'm predominately referring to my stomach so that I could have continued eating my way through their delicious menu, I suppose it could fit the venue as well. It is quite charming inside, but with the amount of people clamoring to get in, I'm sure they wished there was more space to sit everyone. There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in this area of Brooklyn, but Piccola Cucina Casa stands out as a must visit! The staff is friendly and inviting, and will help you pick the perfect wine to go with your meal. We started with the grilled octopus and the meatballs. The octopus was cooked perfectly and came in a delicious sauce that we left no trace of behind. The meatballs came with mushrooms and fresh truffle. I typically shy away from truffle as it can be overpowering, but this was perfect. We then split the agnolotti and homemade Sicilian pasta. The pasta was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauces were incredible, again I wish I had more stomachs to try more. We restrained ourselves a bit (left over pasta the next day never hurt anyone) in order to try their homemade tiramisu. To our surprise, they made it at your table. The freshest I've ever had. All in all it was the perfect evening, and we'll have to go back to try even more!
