Can never go wrong with the salt & pepper prawns & lobster fried rice! Between the Dj and Joy the bartender--the service & drinks are always great.

Dined here for happy hour and I think I found my new favorite spot! Anywhere that has a $10 lychee martini on the menu is a place for me! Happy hour is only at the bar so better to go early to snag a spot. They have a selection of cocktails for $10 as well as small bites like lettuce wraps, chicken or beef satay, dumplings, spring roll etc on the menu for $10. We ordered a round a lychee martinis and they are delicious and generously filled. The lettuce wraps are a must and the beef satay skewers are huge although the sauce is a little sweet for my liking but overall it's a great spot to go to.

I had came to this upscale Chinese chain a few nights ago to celebrate a friends birthday. It was pretty empty when we arrived for our 7 pm reservation, but the area began to fill up within our 2 hours there. Also understand that the restaurant is in a basement, so there is no windows and you have to walk down a staircase to get to the actual restaurant. Floors are extremely slippery We opted for the golden tasting experience which featured 14 courses and a dessert tasting menu. They offered high end food items which was pretty good. The food was good. But it was just that. Good. I was not overtly impressed for the price. I found the cost was comparable to Michelin star restaurants while not offering the Michelin experience. That is not to say the service wasn't good, it was very good, but not what I was expecting for this price point. $$$$ For Americanized Chinese food, it really was good. Would I come again? Probably not. But it was a fun experience!

You have to walk down stairs to get into the restaurant so it's not accessible for guests w mobile devices. The food is delicious and definitely get the cheesecake to go if available.

If you're looking for reasonable priced, authentic Chinese cuisine....this is not it. Possibly the worse Chinese food I've ever had. Service was aight. Decor was dark. Overall, will never come back.

7.5/10 experience. I came here to celebrate my anniversary and was kind of underwhelmed by the staff. Not sure if they do celebrations or offer complimentary cake but they did not mention it. Service was a bit slow even while empty. I suggest going before 7 because the restaurant isn't big and it gets crowded fast. Food was okay, I was a bit disappointed by it, it needed more seasonings. Wait staff didn't seem to know a lot of English either, not an issue just an observation. Not sure I'd come back.

You can expect to have a solid dining experience here that is on par with other restaurants in the area. The decor is simple, nice, clean and not terribly kid friendly. The service was pretty good.Food & Drink Highlights:1. Get the Sangria if you're not in the mood for a strong cocktail2. Sauce used for Satay was too overpowering for me so heads up on that.3. Vegetable Lo Mein was lightly flavored; chew slowly so you don't miss it.4. They are definitely using Prawns in their entree and not Jumbo Shrimp; I appreciated this.5. There is more cream in the serving of Red Velvet Cake than actual cake.I probably should have tried Philippe Chow when they were newly in town and definitely before I dined at Brooklyn Chop House. I left wanting more flavor.

Had cousins in from out of town last week and wanted to show them amazing Chinese food. Coming in the door and down the mirrored staircase made for a fun photo op. I had been to Philippe Chow before and loved it!! Philippe Chow did not disappoint. We started off with the best Lychee Martini ever! They were deliciously perfect! We then had the wonton soup and pork Spareribs , some of the best I've ever had! We then ordered dinner.. Chicken Low mein, Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice, sweet-and-sour Chicken & the most delicious Grand Marnier Prawns. Our food came out hot and timely and the portions were very generous. Service was just as great, even General Manager Kostas stopped by our table to make sure everything was up to par. And it was. This certainly was a dinner to remember and for all the right reasons. We will definitely be coming back.Thank you Steve W.
