Peppino's Brick Oven Pizza & Restaurant

I'm from Houston, Tx. We are here on a business trip working at the Brooklyn Naval Yard. We wanted to have some authentic Italian / New York style pizza and came to Peppino's. The food was AMAZING. Pizza will never be the same for me. Not only was the food absolutely delish, the staff and the owner were a true pleasure to visit with. They really made us feel welcomed and extremely kind. The atmosphere was so nice and the place was spotless clean. We will definitely go back before our assignment is over and revisit during our future deployment. This place is worth saving as a favorite must have.

Yum, yum, yum! Peppino's serves up delicious delivery pizza! We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, and basil, and the four station. Both were excellent. I would gladly order delivery from Peppino's again (and wish I lived close enough to order them to my own apartment!).

There's a few amazing pizza spots and this is one of them! Everything crisped to perfection cheese was melted great the sauce was tasty as ever!! I'm really a sauce lover. The pepperoni was cooked great with the little curved tips which make it even better. It gives it a nice dimension. The delivery guy was great. Inside the restaurant it's very simple homey regular pizza shop vibes. :) I plan to order again soon!

The Margherita was just *chef's kiss*. I can't really speak to the ambiance as we decided to take the pizza to go, but it was a small neighborhood spot that felt homey and comforting. The order was completed quickly, and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendation.

Came here for a friend's birthday and they were very attentive and nice to us, we didn't feel rushed at all and the pizza came out fast! We ordered a punch of pizzas and one lasagna dish. For 10 of us, 4 large pizzas and 1 pasta dish was more than enough. The pizza itself is okay, I've had better but it's not bad and I appreciate them having space to accommodate such a large group. Thank you for making my friend's birthday!

Probably the best Italian restaurant in BK. The server's are awesome. My wife said this looks so good I don't even wanna eat it lol. Great as usual. Thanks

Came here on a Sunday when I actually wanted to go to Luigi's a few blocks away. They were closed and that was a blessing in disguise! Pepinos was so good! Firstly staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered to-go but then we found parking so we stayed. They had no problem. We ordered 2 baby pizzas. One plain half pepperoni and one margarita. I LOVED my margarita. The other one was said to be too oily with the pepperonis but I guess that's expected. The pizza didn't need anything extra! We added some garlic powder and it was very tasty and fresh with a crispy thin crust! Family friendly and classic Italian restaurant atmosphere. A lot of families were there that day! It was pleasant and clean. Unfortunately I went to luigis a week later and was so sadly disappointed! Stick to Peppinos! It's modern classic, worth the price and delicious! The two girls front of house were very sweet as well.

I give them 4 stars because the food is very good, but a bit overpriced and portion sizes are smaller than the usual...I love the Caesar salad with the chicken and orecchiette..

This has been the best pizza we've found so far in NY. The Margherita pizza with pepperoni was phenomenal. Also try the penne alla vodka, bruschetta, and Caesar salad.Everything is fresh, and comes out so perfect. Can't wait to come back next time we visit!

Good lord the food here is something special. I had their chicken pizza (fresh mushroom, grape tomatoes, housemade mozzarella and chicken) and it was perfection. My friend who lives in Park Slope insisted I go here over Lucalis (which is great) and she was right. I am a New Yorker born and raised and a pizza fanatic and this might have been the best pizza I've ever had. Their chicken parm here is also a strong 10! In addition to the great food, service was perfect... friendly staff who clearly appreciates their customers. Only complaint is that it is in Brooklyn (I live in Manhattan) so its a trek!
