Peppa's Jerk Chicken

Very professional, friendly service. Streamlined ordering system with a kiosk. Spacious place, so patrons had personal space. That's a thing here in NYC. Great portion sizes. But the worst Jerk chicken I've had in recent memory. Definitely bottom 3 possibly ever. No flavor, no spice, no smokiness. I thought it was just me, but I asked my last to taste it and she asked "where's the jerk?" Sometimes cooks have bad days, so I might have come at the wrong time. But I can't confidently say I will be back unless something has been changed. I should've known better when nobody in the store ordered jerk from a restaurant with Jerk in the name.

Ordered two separate times and fucked up my order . You charge me for the most expensive shit and sending me the cheapest ones !? Reading is fundamental!

Anytime I'm in Brooklyn, I have to visit Peppa's! I absolutely love their festival! The first time I visited, I only had 1 order of festival!! I promised to never do that again! I ordered three orders of festival with my jerk chicken and rice and beans! The service was quick and easy. The ambiance is for a to-go service. No pictures were taken this time.

Jerk chicken plate with cabbage and rice and peas. A side of jerk chicken only--small $8-it was such a generous portion! So flavorful. DoorDash was fast!Def will be back :)

The food is so delicious very tasty not overwhelming with too much spices that you can't enjoy it. The food is fresh and you could see the kitchen with is very neat and clean. The staff was very nice and even told me to take care of myself when taking my insulin. I tried a festival and it was amaze ball, our friends recommended this place and it was a great choice bc I plan on visiting the each time I'm in Brooklyn" spread love is the Brooklyn way.

I don't even know how to compose this review about Peppa's. Like fuh real FR! I have mixed feelings but I ain't here for all of that so let's get into the real meat. Yeah, daiz ah big fat, juicy pun.Their food is really good. I enjoy it. A LOT! I could eat it every day (except the rolls on my sides aren't feeling that typa vibe). Food great! 5/5Like I said, my rolls have started complaining because I've been here numerous times even without checking into Yelp BUT, I'm trying to stay away. I thought it was just ok. Since I was in the area i had to go to the ups store . I decided to get some food from the famous peppas. First off the menu on the wall is just for show . The prices are not correct so one can't go by that. I asked the cashier is $11 jerk chicken meal a medium she says that isn't correct Red flag ignored lol why did not I just leave I also got an oxtail meal for my mom the pride on the wall read $18 but it was packed with rice and 3 oxtails I am not an annoying customer that watches every move. I fell back and listened to music while my order was packed. So k was charged more than posted and I did not get a receipt with my change smh I felt low key ripped off. I wanted to support This was a I have food at home moment The jerk chicken was good although I added jerk sauce I Received a good serving of jerk chicken I am not sure if I want to try the original location They probably won't see me back

I rated here this low because this place does not accommodate customers request and have no way of reaching the manager as requests for.The cashier is very rude, and I have been coming here for years and may never come back. I only spend my money where I am given services and little options shouldn't be that hard to accommodate a regular customer who is not begging. Last Friday, I stopped in to get food as myself or husband usually do since we both work in Brooklyn but do not live here. I wanted Jerk chicken for myself and my husband wanted me to get him curry goat and white rice but do not want them together because the food gets saggy by the time we get home. I asked her if she could put the curry goat separately in a small bowl. She refused and I asked for the manager and she has no way to reach the manager and told me the manger would refused too. How can someone work somewhere and can't reach their managers? I called my husband who said the young lady refused him before and when he spoke to the manager, she said it's ok as long as he pay for the bowl. I mentioned that to her and another working who agrees that she sometimes accommodate as such, but the young lady still refused, and instead, I heard her in the back telling the other nice young polite man that I was lying. That got me very upset, and I left as a very unhappy customer who might never return because of the horrible service I got.

Very slow service rude people not recommended try another restaurant it will be better for you

food was very delicious very edible. I truly love this place because they're so fast with making my food and they always serve me with care. I really love the pasta with chicken.
