I weighed all of the duck meat still on the unserved duck. Over 1/2 pound of duck meat. CRAZY!

Team lunch at Peking Duck House in Chinatown. Table cloth Chinese, excellent service, nicely decorated on the main floor.More pros than cons.BYOB with exception for beer as they sell it.Sesame cold noodle was fantastic Spring rolls were excellent Dumplings pan fried with pork were very goodSoup dumplings were perfectHoney ribs were not good, my preference is for traditional red sauces ribs...no flavorBeef on the stick was awesomeShredded beef was excellent Duck was beautiful but lacked flavor if that is possible, I ate the duck without the pancake or sauce...the sauce helped...still good not greatOrange chicken was very goodI did not have the rice or noodlesI would definitely return Thankfully I did not pay the bill

Hit this up with the family for the holidays, and was reminded their veggies here are quite good, too. Mixed veggies in a brown sauce and the spinach with garlic were both very tasty, although a little greasy.Yes, there was the duck (and we took home the bones for soup and cooking), and they showed you the full and carved near your table - that always entertains the kids. Delicious and crispy and fatty.

The Peking Duck still is very good as you would expect. Unfortunately the rest of the food is merely ok. I have been to Peking Duck House many times over the last several decades, but sadly it is not as good as it used to be.

I have been here twice and enjoyed the food here. The decor is classy and service is attentive. The Peking duck is wonderful and the skin is very crispy with tender and juicy meat. The they carve the duck at tableside. I also got the stir fried string bean that was good and the lamb chop which was decent. Prices is a little steep but expected for Peking duck.

A really easy spot to miss, Peking Duck House is a must try for anyone looking for some delicious Peking duck! The exterior is a bit shoddy but inside is a really spacious and nice restaurant with ample seating. It does get busy around the evenings, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. The Peking Duck dinner is $59 per person for half a duck, soup, a variety of appetizers, any entree on the menu, fried rice, and fresh fruit. I loved the Shrimp Sizzling Rice soup over the Wonton soup. I felt it had a lot more flavor and was just better overall. Of course, the Wonton soup was good but not anything remarkable. The apps include Chicken with Pinenut in a lettuce cup, BBQ Beef, a Spring Roll, and a steamed Vegetable Dumpling. You get one piece of each - I liked the Chicken and the Beef, especially the latter, which was well made and tender with tons of flavor. The roll and dumpling were average but still good. Finally, the Duck! It was carved tableside, which was a nice touch. The Peking Duck came with hoisin sauce, celery and cucumbers, and crepes to wrap it in. It was so delicious - very crispy yet tender and juicy and succulent. It paired well with the sauce, cucumbers, and crepe. My only qualm is the portion - I felt it was a small amount for the price and for two people to share. For our entree, we got the Crispy Duck, which was also delicious but 2nd to the Peking Duck. The Crispy Duck was cripsy but a bit on the saltier side, which I didn't like. Lastly, the fruits that we got for dessert was my least favorite. It was clear that the fruit wasn't fresh as the cantaloupe looked soggy and the kiwi looked dry - honestly, I would have preferred no dessert than the fruits. Overall, this was a good spot for Peking Duck, although it is on the pricey side. It's a really nice and clean spot and can accommodate large parties. I recommend checking it out if you're in the area and craving Peking duck.

Food is over price in this place cause it's not a very delicious and it's not like the iconic or authentic Chinese food even when the place it's called duck house they don't serve only a piece of duck. You have to buy the whole duck, if you wanna try. The service was not impressive. I remember if I am in Chinatown, it's better to eat in a traditional Chinese place with local Chinese people serving their traditional duck

Came here just for duck and it was OK. Slightly above average if that but overall nothing crazy Extremely small dining but that's normal. They do a table side duck carving which is fancy. The duck itself was moist and slightly crispy skin a great amount of fat to meat ratio. What I disliked is that they had SO much meat left on the carcass but they stopped once the plate is full of meat. In Houston they usually make a soup or stir fry the leftovers but after eating we figured it wasn't coming. I ended did asking if I could have the carcass which I'm glad they gave me cause I paid for a whole duck. I would like to eat the whole duck. LOL. Apparently they don't cause a choking issue in the past? But safe to say I destroyed that Carcass

We ordered the House special dinner for two, for $59.00 per person. This includes HALF PEKING DUCK and choice of 1 entree for which we ordered the LOBSTER WITH GINGER AND SCALLIONS. It also includes appetizers and a soup, CHICKEN WITH PINENUTS, SPRING ROLL, BARBECUED BEEF AND STEAMED DUMPLING, for soups the options are WONTON SOUP as well as the SHRIMP RICE SOUP. The DUCK obviously is the speciality at this restaurant, the skin was crispy and the flavor was quite authentic but the meat was a bit dry. I really like the CHICKEN WITH PINENUTS and the LOBSTER was just okay as well as the soups. The restaurant was very full and noisy and the tables can be quite close to each other but the staff do a good job keeping everyone attended quickly.ESPAÑOL:Pedimos la cena especial de la casa para dos, por $59 por persona.
