Fantastic dining experience here from the moment we arrived. They have the facility to check in our coats so we didn't have to cramp them on our seats. We had reservations made for the window view and we experienced the first snow of the season while seated here. What a stunning view of what nature had to offer with the glamorous backdrop of the City! For our 3-course meal, we started off with a piece of delicate fish and a sauce, this tasted absolutely delicious and got me excited for the meals to come. My choice of appetizer which was tuna was prepared 2 ways and was mind blowing. Loved every bite of my tuna. My main meal was halibut on wild rice which was yet another epic dish, savored every bite! And dessert was a medley of different sorbets to perfectly wrap the meal. Huge shout out to Elsa, our server who kept the conversations sweet and friendly and made for an extraordinary experience here.

I had previous issues here, which I think I left a review on, but I was trying to get back to see if they had changed at all.Management and I sent numerous emails back-and-forth, but our availabilities just couldn't match up. I didn't wanna go on the person that I spoke to not be there. I've emailed a few times and not got a response in quite some time so I guess they gave up on trying to make sure that things were fixed. It really sucks because I like this place. It was just a lot of confusion. A lot of my ratings are based off of experience from the management/customer service aspects. The food is of course phenomenal that I'm not gonna take away which is why I gave it two stars instead of one location is also amazing cause it overlooks New York, but for me, it's all about making sure the customer is happy, Made to feel welcome, and important. I just haven't felt that since the day I've been there. Outside of the Bartender.

4.5 / 5.0 - My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday dinner earlier this month and we had an amazing evening. We went to the Edge first, with incredible views of the city. It was a clear night and the observatory wasn't as crowded as I'd expected. I'd been here during the day, but nighttime was even more spectacular. We were lead to a table in the middle of the restaurant, since the tables by the windows were already full by the time we'd booked. They did move us to an open table closer to the windows, which was nicer. The only problem was, it was right below the air conditioner and so cold we kept our coats on throughout our meal. They don't have a large menu, but we ordered several dishes to share and everything was absolutely delicious.- Atlantic Scallops- Grilled Radicchio- Halibut- Chocolate and HazelnutOur server was not the most attentive but the enchanting views and delicious food more than made up for it. They also brought me a mini cake for my birthday, which was a nice touch.I look forward to dining again in the near future.

Celebrated my birthday at Peak. Be prepared to zoom 101 floors up. The windows seats are prix fixe menus, everything else is a la carte. My server, whose name eludes me- but is from SA, was amazing. He ensured the night progressed perfectly with complimentary chef caviar tasting and I blew out my candle at the end. Loved it! The patience and attention he offered was unmatched. Needless to say, service was tip top. The ambiance was chatty and vibrant, everyone's in love with the view. The food was scrumptious and well plated. I'll definitely be returning. Plus, there's a minimum spend to enter The Edge for free. You exit the restaurant through a little secret way that leads directly to The Edge, no waiting on line. I totally recommend. It's not just dinner, it's a whole experience and I can't wait to go again.

For my girlfriend's birthday, I wanted to take her somewhere elegant with a stunning view and exceptional food. Having been to Peak once before, I knew it would be the perfect place. We went during lunch, and the views were amazing. The staff greeted us warmly, and several even wished my girlfriend a happy birthday, which made the experience feel special. The menu was prix fixe, so we started with appetizers, choosing the lettuces and rigatoni. For our entrées, we ordered the seared steelhead trout and roasted chicken, and finally, we shared the crunchy toast for dessert. From start to finish, each dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. To top it off they brought my girlfriend a cake with a candle which I did not have to ask for. I would highly recommend Peak to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with great views, attentive service, and outstanding food.

First off-- the view, the view, the VIEW! I came here with high expectations and... I was NOT disappointed. The view here is simply fantastic. Definitely a good spot to get the full manhattan skyline! The food was also surprisingly great. I especially loved the scallops, lobster, and the steak. We were extremely full by the end of the course menu.Service was decent. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion or when I want a good view on manhattan!

I came here about 2 years ago (had all these nice pics taken) and the experience was superb. However, the most recent experience has left me horrified (service was very snobbish, and food was very undervalued and small portioned) and will not be going back. I think Summit One Vanderbilt might be a better option if I'm taking family and friends for the future if this does not change.Overall the experience was very bad, service was extremely slow, and the lounge area seating hostess as well as the waiters / waitresses were very snobbish and unhelpful in accommodating seating requests (even though there were plenty of empty tables), when the restaurant manager's partner + his friend just waltzed in to tour the Edge and sat at a window seat of their choice in the lounge area with no questions asked.

We went early to have the opportunity to walk around, unfortunately the outdoor terrace was closed due to the rain. However we still have lovely views. We started off having a drink in the bar area of the restaurant. Followed by getting seated. They said we had the best table. It surely was, it was the corner table for 2 tucked away in the south west corner with views going downtown, east and west. It was beautiful ! We both got the pre fixe. I ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection! And Maine lobster, so perfect! It also came with a scoop of lobster salad! Followed by the egg for dessert. And since we were celebrating our anniversary they gave us a chocolate cake extra! Overall excellent service, great food and obviously stellar views!

Not really impressed whatsoever. The location & view is obviously the selling point, but beyond that it's mediocre in my experience. Food options were lackluster, one vegetarian entree option. I got the maitake mushroom entree and it was alright. Nothing to write home about, forgettable. A couple mushrooms sitting in polenta. Uninspired & boring. My friend said her beef tartare was alright & the farro was gross. Presentation was ok. Service left a lot to be desired. Only came to check on us after we had our food for like 10 minutes already. The worst part was the girl at coat check saying "don't forget to tip!" Literally .5 seconds after receiving our coats back. Girl....who asks for tips straight up like that? It was ghetto. The view is probably nice though. If you show up on a clear day, which we didn't. Also there was so much trash in the bathroom, a literal condom that looks like it was from years ago. Disgusting
