bad service, rude staff, never any sides. i have an allergy to tomatoes they'll tell me something doesn't have tomato in it only to find out that it does. I wont be going back to this location

Great authentic Jamaican food. Seasoned well and prepared well. Fresh food not stale or oily.

Very rude, condescending, unfriendly server. I asked for the pasta which they normally have and she asked me "what pasta? Where do you see the pasta?" I said thanks and left.

If you're riding down Nostrand and have a taste for Caribbean food, this is the place! I've lost count of how many times I've been here. Honestly, after moving to Crown Heights this place became a staple and I easily supported once a week.This is some of the best Jamaican food I've tasted outside Jamaica. From Jerk Chicken to Stew Chick to Oxtails, it's all good! You can choose platter size based on your appetite but know that medium is pretty hefty and filling. Large most likely means leftovers, or can be good for sharing. If you're committing to eating here make sure you do the rice and peas, not regular rice, WITH GRAVY. Their plantain and cabbage are good but the Rasta Pasta is exceptional!! Well worth getting a separate order. Even with those recommendations it's safe try anything here; there is no going wrong.

Still scrumpdeliciosious. We had a small mash potatoes with bbq chicken and the small oxtail with Mac and cheese extra oxtail sauce. They make a great Bbq chicken here and I've had it about 10 times. Only thing that beats it is their mash potatoes. So simple and deceiving, it's less is more at its the finest, imo. Oxtail was underdone this time so it was chewy and not fall off the bone. But you do not argue with Patties oxtail sauce however they give it to you. That's all I'll have to say about that. It's reasonably priced but you don't get much FYI. The Mac pie is good as usual. The fried plantains are hearty. This is a meal for the sleep deprived Bc it will put you straight into a food coma.

I never complain about the attitudes of the women that work here, why? The food is always so damn good. Today was a bit different because the place was empty, and I was literally screaming my order out too her. She still rolled her eyes, and sucked her teeth at me, I don't know what gives maybe it's a Jamaican thing. I'm editing my review just for sheer fact that this location is terribly discombobulated. Yesterday I came in 10/12. I always order a medium bbq chicken with two hot sides, the woman working the bar was new. I asked for two hot sides with my order, and was told I had to pay extra. I spoke up and told her no I always get free hot sides; I took the macaroni salad which she sprinkled like ten pieces of on top of the chicken.This location also has one of the most aggressive, most rude women working here. I walked down to the other location, and was given my choice of hot sides. I don't care how good your food is anymore, don't be rude.

Can't beat the taste:portion:price ratio here. I've tried a handful of the Jamaican spots in the neighborhood and they have my favorite jerk chicken out of all of them. My go-to order is a medium jerk wings with cabbage and mac & cheese (I skip the rice & peas). Don't forget to ask for some oxtail gravy over the mac & cheese. You get about 7-8 wings with a medium. That's enough food for 2 meals.. for under $10! As a white ass dude in a gentrifying neighborhood I always try to be a little extra courteous & respectful at businesses that mainly serve the longer term residents. The staff seem nice enough as long as you know how to order.

The food is really tasty. By far the best place in Brooklyn to buy Oxtails, jerk pork, jerk chicken, ackee and salt fish!!

This is the best food ever don't let anyone tell you different!!!The Best Jamaican Food .oxtails.fish. Curry chicken.stew chicken . Curry goat . Beef Pattie's . Soup . Potatoe salad . Macaroni salad .rice and beans . Sweet plantains * All these items taste good to me The food here I come at least 3-4 times a week you can also catch Jamaican breakfast .saltfish .ackee. Dumplings . Porridge I'm Haitian and I'm so in love with this food Pattie hut will cater all my events as long as I want Jamaican food . Trust the review I wouldn't waste time writing if you want some amazing Jamaican food come here * FYI FROM A FELLOW CARIBBEAN ( THE FOOD DON'T HIT IF THEY AIN'T STURN PATTIE HUT IS THE SHIT!!
