This past Sunday was probably my third visit to Patti Ann's - each visit has been for brunch. Frankly, my main goal is the cruller which is one of the most delightful things I've eaten. They are crispy, sweet/savory and freshly made. On the most recent visit, I had the pancakes and they were perfect: fluffy and crispy! A side of two eggs and yummy OJ rounded out my meal. During our first visit, it was still lovely weather, so we sat outside at the picnic tables under the umbrellas. The latter two times we sat at the bar and it just adds to the cozy, homey feel. We found service to be laid back and friendly. I'm not from a "flyover state" as some other (eww) reviewer noted, and I still found Patti Ann's to be a gem of a spot - at least for brunch.

Great diner in the neighborhood. I'm glad they changed the menu. Much more affordable. Great choices for lunch. They serve breads all day. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Lots of windows and airy. Service is a bit slow but wait staff are really nice. I've been back several times! And plan to make this my neighborhood casual lunch spot.

My wife and I was up in Brooklynn visiting my son and daughter in law and the grandkids . They made a reservation at Patti Ann's for brunch. It's a wonderful place on the corner with outdoor seating on the sidewalk and inside . I was greeted at the door right away and told my table was ready . We had the two grandchildren and were waiting on my son and his wife . The waitress took a drink order right away, I had a blood Mary and my wife had a Prosecco. The kids 5/4 were brought OJ and coloring books and crayons. Courtney was our waitress and she was on top of things and hit it out of the park . So we get our drinks and drank the first round waiting for our kids, when out comes Courtney again with their Maple Cruller they are known for. And she says it's on the house try it out . Oh my Gosh , it was delicious . Finally our kids arrived and we ordered another Bloody Mary each and our brunch . The kids split a pancake which was Hughe . Shirlee and I both nibbled on it after the kids were done. I swear it could have feed two adults that's how big the order was . Shirlee and I ordered the Smash burger which was excellent served with garlic fries . Alain and Kate ordered breakfast "Everything but the kitchen sink . And that looked fantastic. Courtney did a phenomenal job and was busy as a bee. The whole restaurant was slammed, every table was full and you would not know ,it as the service was excellent. I noticed the cooks at the cooking station and they were popping out orders one after another all with a great presentation. If you're in the area don't hesitate to stop by Patti Ann's you will not be disappointed.

Pretty good standard American fare. We came in a Sunday for dinner and it wasn't crowded at all. Our server was friendly. The food came out fairly quickly. The giant mozzarella stick and wedge salad were great. We ordered the Spur pizza which was just ok. I felt I could make something similar at home. The one major downside was that the bathrooms were really dirty. Overall okay, but didn't knock our socks off.

Patti Ann's has been on my list for a long time so I was thrilled when a friend and I found ourselves in the area had a few hours to kill on a Saturday night to grab dinner. We grabbed a reservation online (but probably could have been seated without one) and ordered matching Shirley temples, the blooming onion, and the spicy pepperoni pizza. Everything was fantastic and lived up to our expectations. Pizza was definitely a little spicier than I expected but we got it with half jalapeño's so I was able to switch off spicier bites. Next time I come I will probably try to do it with a slightly larger group just so we can try more of the fun menu items! HIGHLY recommend this spot!!!

Cute spot, and I would imagine nice for a family outing if you have kids and want a quick and easy and acceptable meal. I also have to imagine some of this might qualify as "comfort food" for some of y'all who grew up in what we here call the "flyover states."There were plusses and minuses in our food experience--the highlights being a tasty Brussels sprouts appetizer as well as their giant mozzarella stick appetizer. I know, it sounded gimmicky to me, but just brilliant concept and execution--really maximizes your cheese output and minimizes breading with one giant stick. I feel like I'll think of it every time I order a basket of sticks from now on, so kudos!Less successful for us were we he Mac and cheese--which had so much pepperoni and fried onions added I almost forgot it was a Mac and cheese--and the bland Greek salad. Pizza was recommended but I ultimately couldn't bring myself to try it, with its flat Detroit/midwest style. I'm a native New Yorker and I have some standards that are inviolable.Perhaps this was a fitting impasse because the place is a bit of a paean to the Midwest and, I mean... why did you move to New York if you're just going to crave that mediocre comfort. I mean I see the charm, it's not without merit, especially for families/groups. Could see coming back, but can't imagine frequenting for dinner.

Nice local spot for a brunch in Brooklyn. I got the Smoked Salmon ($16), which came as a sandwich in an "everything cruller" which is basically a crispy pastry that in this case acted as the bread for the sandwich. In addition to the smoked salmon inside (which was average quality), there were also tomato and cucumber slices, so it was quite a refreshing sandwich. I thought it could've used a bit more of the smoked salmon though.I also tried the BEC ($15), which was a pretty standard bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a brioche bun. The bun was very slightly burned but other than that, it was a very standard and pretty good BEC.The restaurant is pretty large with a bakery in the back. There is lots of natural sunlight coming into the restaurant. We only had to wait for a few minutes to get a table for weekend brunch. The place is very welcoming to families, as we noticed most tables actually had a baby / young children (maybe that's just the demographic of the nearby area). The staff are friendly and the service speed is pretty quick.Overall, I would recommend Patti Ann's as a solid option for American brunch if you are in the area.

This review is for weekend brunch. Had a reservation for 2 people. Restaurant started filling up by 10:30am, so I recommend making a reservation. There's also a bakery in the back that you can just walk up to. Ambiance / Service: pretty spacious restaurant that has a neighborhood-y feel to it - casual, cute, and cozy. Seems very kid- friendly, lots of families dining. Also noticed the hostess offering high chairs to diners and even disinfecting them beforehand. They also hand out crayons to kiddos. Overall service was good! Slow at first, but I think it was because there was a rush of diners. Food: nothing blew my mind, but definitely a solid brunch spot. -Bostock: this was a seasonal baked good. It was good to share, I just wish there were more strawberries. -Lemon Caesar Salad: this was good. Dressing was very mild, not garlicky like other caesar dressings. It was covered in parmesan cheese, which I loved. -Kitchen Sink: basic, but exactly what I wanted. Bacon was cooked perfectly and not fatty. Hashbrowns come in a round patty form. Menu says scrambled eggs, but they can cook them anyway you want. -Loaded Hashbrowns: not sure if these are still on the menu. This was good. Very filling. Sauce has a kick to it.

I came in on Sunday for brunch. We made a reservation and I walked in and stood at the main door for a couple of minutes. People kind of looked at me and smiled at me, but it didn't look like anyone worked there and then I went and stood in the middle of the dining room for another couple of minutes, and I was finally seated.they have quite a few tables and lots of families with kids, the space sort of looks a little Midwestern. They have some Chicago signage on the walls. It's sort of an average corner spot to grab a meal. They don't offer any drinks for Sunday brunch. The waiter that I got didn't really speak English too well, and definitely did not check on us or serve us too quickly. In fact, my coffee arrived cold to the table. I don't really recommend the drip coffee Either but I will say that the food is extremely good. I tried the Gravelox cruller and my friend had the pancakes. Extremely well prepared, very flavorful, all fresh ingredients. while I did not find the service very good, I will say on the plus side that they didn't bother us at all or rush us through the meal or try to get us out of the restaurant quickly. I did really enjoy the food so I would probably recommend you come here for the food.

Went here for a casual brunch and was able to snag a rest quite easily! Food was super tasty and reasonably priced -- got a BEC breakfast skillet and the hash brown was so delicious! Also shared a maple cruller and pancakes as a table, and the pancakes were so delicious - really good vanilla, malty flavor! Would recommend for a low key brunch, that's not crazy to get into!
