The BF and I went for lunch on Sunday. I go often and have never seen it busier. So while service was slower and spottier than usual, I understood why.Came here really to tout the diner's FANTASTIC turkey sandwich. This ain't no deli turkey. This is fresh, thinly sliced turkey cut right from a bird. It was really flavorful and moist, and the roll was stuffed high with the delicious turkey. Think Katz's level of piled high poultry.Order it! I sure will again.

Kachow! Lightning back at you with another review. On a rainy morning, we visited Park Plaza.Overall, I would not come back here, particularly if you are plant-based. Park Plaza advertises itself as a place with vegan options, and, yes, there is a vegan section of the menu. This was what originally drew me to the place, as I am a longtime vegetarian. However, it is very clear that they are not actually equipped to provide their own plant-based options. I ordered the vegan chicken Caesar wrap, and after waiting about a half an hour, we were served lukewarm food, and my order was completely incorrect. They brought me a real chicken Caesar salad wrap AND a separate plate of vegan chicken tenders. When we asked for it to be corrected, the waitress tried to tell us that it WAS the vegan wrap, which was obviously incorrect. Plus, a separate item we ordered (a toasted corn muffin) was forgotten entirely. The waitress was nice and promised to correct it, but we ended up waiting another 20 minutes to no avail. Finally, we just asked for the check, and the vegan chicken wrap was STILL ON IT. I had to ask the hostess to take it off when we paid, which she luckily very kindly did. I mean there was some good: the restaurant is clean, the hostess was friendly (before and after the vegan wrap debacle), and they sat us right away. My companion got an omelette with fries which was well-made and delicious. But at the end of the day, if you can't accommodate people's dietary restrictions, don't put it on the menu. And certainly don't try to tell me that the real chicken wrap is the vegan one, because that can lead to sick stomachs and hurt feelings.

Food: 4.5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Experience: 4/5This diner is beautiful inside and clean. The servers are very pleasant and quick. I ordered the Park Plaza. The portion sizes are quite large. The French toast was pillowy soft and well cooked. I would come back again as the diner food was good.

We decided to try a new place. It is a blast from the past. Very 80's. Food was decent, right across from Cadman Plaza, waiter was ok. We will try and get back for breakfast.

I placed an order for delivery. I ordered a deluxe crispy buffalo chicken sandwich which came with fries and onion rings. The food was really good, surprisingly. I hated the raw onion rings that they slapped on the side of the sandwich. They were cut so thick that I only could use one ring because it would overpower the burger. The fries were good and they remind me of Wingstop fries. The sauces were so good. I think I had a chipotle one and a ranch one. My biggest issue is the lid for my burger was one of those flimsy plastic lids and it was cracked with tons of holes in it when it arrived. I remove the flimsy lid and I only had two onion rings! If you're going to offer onion rings and fries, you could at least give people a little bit more than two freaking onion rings. Cheap and stingy. The chicken sandwich was massive though. Just offer onion ring separately. Because that was a tease. I like their style of onion rings though versus those massive ones with a long slimy onion that drags out of the breading and you're left stiff with breading.

Park Plaza restaurant is akin to going over to nana's for that comforting meal that warms your stomach and soul. Featuring a large diverse menu, it is hard to choose what you want to eat. The service is fast and like friends are having you over, welcoming you into a great space (especially the side room which is great for groups). We have never been rushed at Park Plaza, where they have a great brunch with plenty of food that puts you in a food coma afterward. The manager will come by and chat with you for a while, and the coffee and tea are never empty while you're there. A great place to go for weekend brunch or for a falling lunch or dinner, right by the Brooklyn Bridge and in the DUMBO area that you can explore after your meal.

The rating here is only boosted by the fact the breakfast here is good, and the owners are nice, but that is it. Even then, my order was wrong, even though it was early in the morning and I chose not to contest it.The portions are generous for what you get and I did overall think everything was cooked properly, but avoid everything in the dessert case. It is all cold and sickening sweet. One of the muffins is just disgusting to eat.It is near the subway which helps. They are also adjacent to Brooklyn BBQ. One day I will make it back and try that restaurant. I hear the owners of this restaurant own that as well.

Central location with lots of booths and tables. I got the farmers omelette which came with home fries or French fries. The server recommend their home fries as it's the most popular. However, I found it underwhelming and plain- potato was under seasoned and not very fresh. The omelet was decent but nothing extraordinary, typical of a diner. The coffee was mediocre. Overall, I thought the food and service were okay.

We order from here often. My favorite is the roast turkey club sandwich with homemade fries. The turkey is great, the bacon is hot and not greasy, lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. The bread was lightly toasted with a thin layer of mayonnaise. The fries were golden brown. Get a side of honey mustard to drip that sandwich in. You will thank you later. The food is always hot and the service is always quick. Their breakfast is also good. The omelets and eggs benedict are usually my go to. The pancakes and french toast are also very good. The only down fall is that they are no longer opened 24 hours. The place is nice and clean and the staff is always very helpful. If you're looking for quick diner food, this is the place to order from.
