I haven't been here in person, but only done food delivery. The sake don is so good here and I get their classic roll set. The pickles that comes with the lunch set is a nice complement and I am obsessed with their salad dressing here. Super addictive.

One of the BEST sushi l've had in new york! There was no wait on a Sunday around 6pm. Ambiance was very cozy, especially on a cold winter day. We got the Vanderbilt, ocean lover, and ozakaya rolls along with tuna tartare for an appetizer. Everything was absolutely amazing, the fish was extremely fresh and literally melted in my mouth. The oceans lover was my favorite, the fresh 3-combo fish was incredible. I also loved the tuna tartare! I usually don't love to eat raw egg mixed with my fish, but this tasted amazing.Servers were also so attentive and cleared out our dishes right away!! I will definitely be back to try the donburi bowls.

Came here for lunch with my friend. The ambience was nice. We were craving Japanese food, decided on the tempura and chirashi bowl. Serving size was big and tasted delicious. They had pumpkin, shrimp, and sweet potato in the tempura bowl. Hanabi roll was good but kind of not worth it for the price.Churashi tasted delicious and fresh. Would definitely come back again. The food overall was definitely worth it.

Great drinks and food. I especially enjoyed the Japanese whiskey hot toddy seasonal special drink after walking through the cold streets. The fried octopus appetizer was flavorful and crunchy while the ribeye bowl was filling and rich. Service was friendly and welcoming.

This place need to get more recognition because it is SO good!! Came for the summer special and I wish they would keep everything permanently, especially the Sake Katsu Set ): It just melts in your mouth and is HUGE and so flavorful! Kaishin Don is a MUST if you come here. There is a good amount of rice under all the toppings, which is a generous portion, and the rice is seasoned well.Staff is very friendly, all the dishes are pretty good portion sizes and delicious, and the interior is beautiful! They have more seating in the back with lights and more patio vibes, which is really pretty. Really wish this place was closer to my place because I would be a regular here!

I ordered the Anaconda roll and the spicy salmon roll.I came for lunch just due to my schedule. Restaurant isn't large inside but they have outside seating, it was a nice day but I had a lunch date with my couch so that's where I was heading with my food. :)I peeped the Anaconda roll from prior Yelp reviews so I knew that's what i wanted to eat. Not sure if I was hungry but I ate everything in one sitting and it was delicious.Only thing I wish they had was crispy rice dish/option.
